before either of the cats could answer another appeared. "you wish," it growled. "we will take you to our leader at once and he will surely shred you!" it growled. petalfall struggled, trying to get out of the grip of the she-cat holding her down.

sweetpaw walked along behind her mentor, clawing at the plants in front of her.

"i had planned battle training but i think we got enough of that last night so i think fishing today," mapleclaw decide, walking towards the twoleg bridge.

runningtail nodded. he knew every moment could be death for the mother or life or both. he legs burned with the speed he was running at, it felt like a million miles a minute. he finally skidded in the camp, panting heavily. "bluemoon! help a she-cat is giving birth!" the medicine cat dashed out of her den and they both ran to find the loner.

Kestrelflight gave the newcomer a furious glare. The tabby suddenly went limp as if he'd given up. All apprentices learned this move early on in their training and even though it was simple, it was effective.

Aspentail paused as a mouse scurried into their feild of vision. He glanced at Sweetpaw, signaling with his tail for her to catch it.

Otterpaw nodded, her eyes brightening for the first time today. She loved fishing. The tabby followed her mentor, excitement beginning to glimmer in her blue green eyes.

As much as Lichenflower would've wanted to get her to camp, the queen was too close to kitting to make it. Lichenflower let her lie on the softest patch of moss she could find and scrambled around the clearing, gathering more moss to tuck around the she-cat. Pounding footsteps made her dart back to the female's side, to see Bluemoon and Runningtail coming.

two other cats came out of the brush. one was young, looking to be around the age of an apprentice and the other one looked to be the age of an older warrior. "those kit tricks don't fool moonclan cats, unlike you suneyes," the tom holding down kestrelfligt laughed. now each of the sunclan warriors had two cats moving them towards a large tree, deep in moonclan territory.

sweetpaw lifted her head from the slashing of plants to the mouse rushing around in the field ahead. she nodded to aspentail then crouched down, moving towards the mouse slowly.

mapleclaw looked at the rushing water and then at the fish moving around. "alright let's start then," she said.

bluemoon looked at the cat laying in the moss. "thank you, lichenflower, could you lend me a hand with the kits?" she asked.

Kestrelflight lashed his tail furiously but didn't reply. As the walked, he glanced at Petalfall, making sure she was okay. From what he could tell, she didn't look injured but he couldn't be sure if she was hiding a wound or not.

While his apprentice went after the mouse, Aspentail silently moved off to do some hunting of his own. Upon the discovery of a thrush, he crouched. When he was close enough, Aspentail pounced.

Otterpaw sat down by the river, peering intently into the water. She'd positioned herself so that her shadow wouldn't fall over the water and frighten the fish.

Lichenflower sat next to Runningtail, her blue eyes watching the queen with her kits. Her fur gently brushed the tom's but she didn't seem to notice. "They're adorable. What are you going to name them?" She asked the queen.

the five cats kept moving petalfall and kestrelflight along until they made it to a mix-matched camp. there weren't many cats, only about twelve if even that many. "rose! we have some cats caught on our territory!" the cat that looked to be an apprentice called.

sweetpaw finally got close enough and pounced on the mouse and kill it. suddenly, the apprentice was knocked out cold, laying on the ground.

mapleclaw watched her apprentice, wanting to quiet and watch her fish.

bluemoon looked at the kits. two had lived, two toms and one other had died at birth. "what will you name them, also, what is you're name?" runningtail asked the she-cat. "my name is lunarsky, i use to live in moonclan before what happened to everyone. i had to find somewhere safe," she said. "well i will name the gray tom slatekit and the white kit stormkit," she said. "and the kit that has moved onto starclan will be named lilykit," she said.

[ do you want slatekit or stormkit? ]

Kestrelflight's anger changed to shock when he saw how few cats were in the camp. He looked around, his eyes glinting with interest. Skystar would be interested to know how weak Moonclan was. He frowned, glancing around for the cat called Rose. That was not a clan cat name. Was Moonclan letting rouges lead them now? His tail flicked lightly from side to side with curiousity.

Aspentail didn't notice Sweetpaw, all his attention was on his prey. His paws landed squarely on it's back, his teeth nipping the back of it's neck to kill it. He buried it and then looked around for his apprentice.

A fish drifted closer to the surface and Otterpaw struck, her paw reaching to scoop it out. She misjudged how close it was and became unbalanced. The tabby fell into the water with a gasp of shock.

Lichenflower's eyes gleamed with sympathy. "Well your safe now. Would you like to come back to camp with us? Skystar wouldn't let you and your kits struggle to survive out in the wilderness." She assured Lunarsky.

rose leapt out of her den to see the five cats. with so few cats she would need to bring some more cats into the clan, no matter if they were from sunclan. "hello, bird, ash, fern, scorch and river, brought some more cats for me did you?" she said with a smile. "bring them with me," she said, walking towards a den as the other cats followed her.

sweetpaw lay in the field, drifting into an odd dream.

"otterpaw!" mapleclaw yelped. she leapt up and ran down beside the river trying to figure out where she could get her apprentice. she looked around then leapt into the current, grasping into the slick rocks and trying not to be swept away.

lunarsky nodded, "yes, please, my clan as turned into a group of rouges and i don't wish to rasie my kits there," she said then struggled to stand with bluemoon's help. bluemoon held the dead kit, lilypaw in her mouth and with a mouth of fur asked, "runningtail, lichenflower, would you please get one of the kits each?" she asked. runningtail nodded then picked up slatekit.

Kestrelflight narrowed his eyes, eyeing the cat with a bit of disgust. "Who are you?" He demanded. "Are you all rouges?" The tabby didn't bother trying to hide the disgust in his voices. Moonclan must've been weak if a bunch of rouges took over. He thought.

Aspentail padded up to his apprentice, alarmed. "Sweetpaw?" He asked, sniffing her. He looked around, amber eyes searching for whoever had done this to her.

Otterpaw managed to fight her way to the surface, taking a huge gasping breath of air. "Mapleclaw!" She wailed, the current sweeping her further downstream. Her head went under again and the apprentice struggled to fight her way back to the surface.

"That's awful." Lichenflower murmured sympathetically. She picked up Stormkit, the little white kit protesting with a little cry. Who was this unfamiliar cat. Where had his mother and brother gone?

[ well they really aren't rouges but one of the cats, rose took over after their last leader who was weak died. she changed everyone's names so instead of the deputy for example being birdwing, he is now just bird, the only real rouge is rose who gave everyone else, the clancats, hope ]

rose narrowed her eyes and shook her head. "we aren't rouges, were a group of friends, and soon you will be one of us whether you like it or not," she growled. "bird, take them to the crowd of sticks," she ordered before the two were taken away.

sweetpaw didn't answer, she lay trapped in her dream. a golden tabby walked up to her, autumnstar. "sweetpaw, you must tell aspentail of his destiny with you," she told the apprentice.

mapleclaw watched as the apprentice was swept her way. she grasp the mangle of fur in her jaws and hauled her over to the land then started to run her muzzle up otterpaw's stomach to get the water out.

lunarsky looked at the camp as they finally made it. bluemoon helped her to the nursery and told the two warriors to put the kits down so they could feed. she then put down the deceased lilykit and looked to the two warriors again. "will you prepare her for a vigil while i talk to skystar?" she asked, before walking towards the leader's den.

Kestrelflight snorted. "You want us to join your group." He shook his head. "Your crazy." He looked coldly at Bird. "What's the crowd of sticks?"

Aspentail nudged her shoulder lightly with a paw. "Sweetpaw wake up!" He said, his worry growing. There was no way he could drag her back to camp in this condition.

Otterpaw coughed up some water and lay there in shock from the cold water. Her body was shivering and her wet fur was still streaming with water. She wouldn't dry very quickly.

Lichenflower gently put the kit by it's mother's belly and watched him crawl towards his mother and begin to suckle. "Of course." She replied softly. The tortoishell grabbed mint and rosemary to hide the scent of death.
