Caspian stared at Orion silently as he silently tinkered with the drum, turning it over, getting water out of it. Caspian temporarily forgot that he was sopping wet.
"Thank you for getting this for me." Orion finally said, not looking up at Caspian as he repaired the drum. "It's beautiful." He continued blankly.
"Why is it so important to you?" Caspian asked. "It's not just because you like instruments."
Orion shrugged. "It's Native American, like me." He said. "There's not a lot of old things around here, anyways. We live in a very new town, surrounded by very new streets and shops. It's nice to find something old."
Caspian considered that. It was an intelligent answer. "Do you know how to play?" He asked.
"A little." Orion said. "Not really, though. The thing about drumming is that you just have to have rhythm, and hit the surface. After you do that, there's not much to it." He got the rest of the water out of the drum and secured the drum back together. It seemed to be made out of hollowed out wood and some sort of animal skin. Orion begins hitting the drum with his palms, and smiles.

They smiled softly and took the pot from his hands, moving their gaze to the moss,avoiding Pol's gaze. "I think they'll love it. You made a good impression on me, so I don't think it'll be too hard. Even just walking from door-to-door and introducing yourself would be nice." they replied, brushing their fingertips against the soft moss. Perhaps, they would visit Pol more often. He seemed like a trustworthy friend to them.

Pol smiled, watching Váli stroke the mosses. He couldn't believe they liked his moss that much.
"I'm glad you think that's a good idea. Moss is what I know best, so I hope it'll be a good introduction." Reaching out, Pol pulled the gate shut. "I'd better let you get back to whatever you were doing when I dragged you over here." Pol wished they hadn't just met. He really liked talking to Váli, but he thought it might be awkward if he invited them to stay much longer.

((juniper and david are out walking if anyone wants to interact with them!))

{I think Pol might be going door-to-door soon if they want to bump into each other. Where are they right now?}

after juniper and David had put the groceries up, they decided to see about finding a park or library while David stayed home to unpack his room. unfortunately, Juniper had no sense of direction, and as they continued to get more lost, Juniper decided to ask the next person they saw.

Váli chewed on their bottom lip as slight anxiety swept over them. "No, it's fine. I don't have anything to do, anyway, so I can stay as long as you'll have me." they laughed nervously and brushed their fingers against the damp moss again. Moss had always been something they had enjoyed as a child. Trips to the forest would always involve naps by a tree stump and they would always take a bit of moss back home with them, which annoyed their mother greatly.

"Awesome!" Pol hadn't spent the day with anyone in a long time. He'd forgotten just how much he liked company. "Would you help me pot some moss before lunch? Then we could go find a nice spot to picnic. Maybe someone will be out walking and we could say hi!" Pol suddenly felt kinda shy and shuffled his feet. "That is, only if you want to."

Váli flashed him a cheeky grin. "Of course, I'm up for it. Anything, really." they answered. The 'of course' came out before they could stop themselves, and they hoped that Pol wouldn't view them as too eager now. Now the anxiety was back and they chewed on their bottom lip, fingers twitching around the pot.

Pol was practically glowing. He tried to reign it in so he wouldn't seem too eager, but he was positive that it wasn't working. Before he could stop himself, he bounced forward and a gave Váli a big hug.
"Come on, then," Pol turned away, trying to hide a small flush that was climbing his cheeks. "Let's get going!" He hurried past Váli, and opened the front door. He turned around, smiling down at Váli. "After you."

{I think Juniper needs someone to interact with. They're out walking around C4. Also, it's mid-morning, so you can just jump in there.}

Váli bit back a flush as they exited the garden first. It was unnecessary that they were so flustered by him. They inwardly sighed and declared that it was simply the lack of interaction with others that they'd had over the years due to their antisocial behaviors. There. That was the reason. "Ah, what will we be having for lunch?" they asked.

"I don't know," Pol replied. He hadn't really thought that far ahead. Maybe he was getting a little too excited about this. Surely he hadn't been that anti-social. "Whatever you want, I guess. What do you normally eat for lunch?" Pol typically didn't eat much, just a sandwhich and some iced tea. Most days he only ate one or two meals throughout the day.
