[nope, I haven't even played the first game |D don't have the money.]

Mani took his arm gently, and she glanced at him. "This might sting a little." She said, and then she glanced back down at him arm before she began to apply the iodine to the damaged area. [She was being careful, in case it did sting, and he moved away. But the iodine would be good - it would heal the skin, but it might stain him of the colour of the brown liquid...no matter, it would be wrapped up anyway.

[ my friend pirated it and the second one |'D it's more unnerving than the let's plays, especially the second one, the first is pretty easy. ]

The winged wolf winced, but he didn't move away. He knew that various types of herbs stung, especially the ones that were best for you. He closed his eyes, even though the sting wasn't that strong, and watched as the liquid glinted against his fur, speckles of brown dotting the black and baby blue. He sighed as the pain subsided, and his shoulders slacked. "T-thank you," he said, although his voice was small and barely audible. It had been a while since he'd thanked anyone.

Mani heard Castor, although barely, and she glanced at him. She had felt him flinch, but it seemed he had taken it well. "No problem." she said, flicking an ear. "Now we have to wrap it up...I can't make a cast or anything so a sling will have to do for now." She said, not really ever sure if he had understood half of that. She dug back into the bag she had bought along, taking out some bandages. She then quickly wrapped his arm in it, making sure it was tight enough. She then got the sling out - she wasn't going to be making one herself, luckily this had been in the house and not in use, so hopefully no one would notice it being gone. "Alright, this is the thing thats going to be keeping your arm from moving too much..." She had no idea how to put it on someone.

[ apparently people here hate spending money, good for them :V ]

Castor flicked an ear as his arm was bandaged. He then watched as she pulled out something; it reminded him of... no, he couldn't recall the word. What really hit him was when he'd last seen it; however he kept silent and motioned with his hand for the... thing what would keep his arm up. Its name was at the top of his tongue, why couldn't he remember it? He sighed and looked at Mani, hoping to convey that he knew what to do.

[I have the money but my mum will not let me buy anything online - and besides, I have to same up for a new laptop for school next year, and ORAS]

Mani saw the winged wolf motion to the sling she had, and she blinked her eyes, unsure. Did he know how to put one of these one? After a moment of hesitation, she handed it to him. He wasn't that stupid, she had to remember - maybe he had seem one of these before, she wouldn't know if he had or not, and wouldn't ask. She kept quiet and didn't say a word.

[ my parents won't let me buy a 3DS, which is probably for the better so I don't need all those games; really, a GBA game is more than enough. ]

As soon as it was in his hands, Castor knew how to use it. He didn't know what it was called, still, but he still knew what to do. He worked with his right arm, slipping his left arm into the cloth-like substance and using one end to connect from his shoulder to behind his neck. It was hard, but he managed to get the two straps together, and he was finished. He managed to recall that it was an 's' word, but he knew little more than that. Back then, he'd improvised them from clothing, but this one was made for its job.

[ahh ok, and true it is probably enough - I have a lot of gaming devices her and some I don't even use XD]

Mani watched him figure out and put on the sling, which she was a bit surprised that he knew what to do, but she hid it so it didn't show. "Thats all we can really do, the arm will heal itself in time." She said simply, and then she zipped the bag up and put it back on her back. She wondered what would happen now - would he go back to the forest?

[hypnowave]

"Again, thank you," said Castor, his voice gaining a little more gratitude behind it. He then looked at her for a moment. He wanted to ask her a question, though he didn't know how to put it right. He wanted to know what was next, what would happen, and where she would be going. He wanted to go back to the forest, but he didn't want to just leave her. He then looked away and shook his head. He spread his wings wide, and, without another word, soared away.

Mani didn't say another word, and after he thanked her another time she could tell he wanted to say something, ask something, but he didn't, and the wolf just turned and flew away. He's probably going back to the forest. She thought to herself. She then turned and began to head home - it had been a very...unusual day today, for sure.

Castor flew higher, until the city below him stretched out like a map. He could see only the largest of lands and buildings, and he couldn't tell where he'd taken off anymore. He felt bad for leaving Mani, but he knew this wasn't his home. He veered to the left and did a nosedive, eventually slowing down to land on the roof of a four-story building. He watched the sky and noticed that it would get late soon; he just didn't want to leave the city just yet.
