He grinned happily, nuzzling the beautiful silver tabby in return. Burrwhisker flicked his tail sheepishly, and blinked back at her. ''I see...It's still not something Tumbleclan is proud of.'' Burrwhisker murmured, shaking his head gravely. ''Sagestar's been becoming quite depressed lately.'' He replied. ''I don't know why.'' Burrwhisker glanced at the trees above his head. ''Luckily however, I am not in the war.''
Rosepaw
''Oh, that's great then!'' She exclaimed loudly. ''Our first -heart was a queen who just joined'' Rosepaw replied. ''I think Sagestar was just feeling sorry for her, so he gave her that name.'' She explained thoughtfully. Rosepaw greatly admired Aspenheart, and listened attentively to him. Shaking her head, the ginger apprentice murmured. ''No, not really, I prefer to leave it up to chance...'' Rosepaw frowned curiously. ''What name did you think you'd get?''
Dustpaw
So she was. Dustpaw was indeed on Witherclan territory and that wasn't a good thing. The tabby was astonished by Cottonbrush's politness but she wasn't insulted by it. Quite the opposite really. Flicking her tail, Dustpaw nodded slowly. ''Ah...I see.'' she murmured. ''Thanks Cottonbush...I'm Dustpaw.'' The tabby replied, uncertain of why she felt the need to introduce herself. Stupid Tumbleclan personality she thought. ''Yeah....thanks for the advice.'' She mumbled sheepishly. ''But I will not heisitate to claw your ears off if your on Tumbleclan territory....because Sagestar will probably kill you so that'd be least of your worries.'' she admitted.

Tumble's war - Sage, Swan, Eagle, Badger, Bleak, Fire, Pebble, Ripped and Mud

Eagleclaw had caught up to Sagestar quickly and was staring at Blazefur and Applefur with cautious eyes. ''I am so sorry...'' she murmured. ''Sagestar, this is wrong!'' she hissed, glaring at her once level-headed leader. ''It doesn't do to dwell on the past!'' The brown warrior pleaded, but Sagestar merely ignored her, flashing her look of utter venom. Bang, went all Sagestar's respect for her. ''Go away Eagleclaw, go and help Badgertail or something!'' Sagestar snapped, glancing at the two warriors. ''I have plenty of honour, do you?'' Sagestar growled, hackles raising. In one fluid motion, Sagestar launched himself at Applefur. Eagleclaw could only watch in horror. She was a fighter, but only when it called for a fight. ''Oh, Starclan.'' she murmured under her breath, glancing at Blazefur. Would she go against the code and pull Sage off Applefur? She would. Heaving, the brown cat dragged Sagestar off Blazefur, not too dissimilar to how the former Ravenstar was dragged off Pebbleclaw.

Swanfoot sneered. ''Well, we all have to obey our leaders!'' She exclaimed.T he white warrior tore herself away from Mossvine and Wildpoppy, wincing in pain as she did. A gash ran down her spine, and Swanfoot wanted to pay them back the pain they'd given her. Razor sharp claws swiping wildly at Stagstep's eyes, Swanfoot could not help but smirk slightly. All was falling in its place. ''Such a shame about those beautiful eyes of yours...'' Firefang winced at the sight of the tussling cats, but a harsh cry from Rippedear urged her on. ''Firefang, attack the medicine den!'' he yowled, leaving the ginger warrior scared but compliant. ''Sorry...'' she mewled as she approached Poppypounce, claws unsheathed and eyes wide with guilt. ''I'm so sorry...'' Firefang mumbled. Bleakpelt was terribly busy trying not to hurt Blossomstep and he still would not. Spotting Swanfoot some way ahead, Bleakpelt realized that Blossomstep would still be attacked. ''Oh cripes.'' He grumbled, striding up to Blossomstep. He had to take action or she'd get hurt. Badgertail was hissing loudly, going mad with excitement. Tail lashing, the black and white warrior was charging at the nursery, joined by Muddapple whom was still trying to please Swanfoot. Badgertail attacked Raggedtail and Muddapple attacked Mossycreek. Pebbleclaw was simply waiting, he'd enter the nursery and steal the kittens. Just as Sagestar wanted. ''Starclan, forgive me....'' the grey warrior murmured, before darting at full-speed towards the nursery.

A large patrol was being lead towards the edge of PineClan's territory, with Mintclaw in the lead. It was a pleasant day despite the cold air and falling snow, and little puffs of smoke could be seen whenever the cats breathed. Larkclaw gazed around in boredom, feeling less than happy that the patrol was uneventful thus far. However, the brown tabby thought he could hear the sounds of yowling cats in the distance, his ears swivled to catch more of the sound. "Hey, do you guys hear anything?" he asked, wanting to make sure he wasn't going crazy. Mintclaw rolled her eyes, thinking that this was another of the tom's pranks until she too heard the distant sounds of battle. The rest of the patrol began to hear it too, Shrikeface being the rest to remark that it was coming from EchoClan. Wasptail let out a shocked gasp, immediately worried for the sake of Ramhorn. "We have to go help them!" She exclaimed, and while Mintclaw wasn't happy with sending out cats to fight after the loss of Owlfur - she couldn't stand by to just walk away like nothing happened.

"Very well, we'll go help EchoClan. Rowanpelt! Go get reinforcements from JinxClan, they're the closest Clan we can contact." The deputy commanded, Rowanpelt gulped, nervous about going into another Clan's territory and for the possibility of Velvetrabbit being thrown in the battle but he nodded to show he understood and immeditely ran off towards JinxClan camp. Mintclaw murmered a prayer under her breath so that her Clan would be safe, then she ran towards towards the direction of EchoClan with the rest of her patrol in tow. Wasptail in particular seemed to run the fastest out of all of them, Larkclaw cheering about how he was finally happy to get some action as a Clan cat while Shrikeface berated him for feeling so happy about a battle. It took a while until they reached where the battle was happening, Mintclaw ordered for her cats to keep hidden in the sidelines and strike at the TumbleClan cats when they were off-guard.

Wasptail disregarded her deputy's orders and immediately charged into the fray, ignoring the angered hiss that left Mintclaw as she saw the ginger tabby's pelt disappear into the cluster of screeching cats. The molly's attention was immediately drawn towards a ginger TumbleClan cat ready to attack the medicine den, Wasptail's eyes narrowed into slits and she unsheathed her claws as she charged after her before she had the chance to harm either of EchoClan's medicine cats or their store. The rest of PineClan on the other paw took up their intended positions and kept to the more hidden parts of the battlefield, Larkclaw laughing with glee as he tripped up a TumbleClan cat before moving in to strike them.

Rowanpelt felt his pelt prickle with anxiety over the thought of how his Clanmates were doing in battle and for how he was currently running through a different Clan's territory, not to mention there was still Velvetrabbit to think about. He shut his eyes briefly and prayed fervently to StarClan not to let anyone let a claw on her pelt, he wasn't sure what he would do if he had to see her get injured in any way. The russet warrior followed the scent of JinxClan in order to find their camp, feeling the fur along his spine raise as the scent became stronger as he neared where they lived. Rowanpelt braced himself as he ran through the entrance, rightfully surprising the JinxClan cats as they had no idea how he was and what he was doing here. "Where's Jinxstar?! It's important, we're fighting on EchoClan's behalf and we're gonna need some help." He exclaimed, his words tumbling out of his mouth.

~Many Voices Crying Out As One~

Blazefur hauled Applefur back onto his paws, making sure that Squirrelstar stayed behind him. "Sagestar, this is ridiculous. My mother was barely older than a kit when her family attacked yours. There was nothing she could do, and she did search for your family. She kept searching until Otterstream's accident. After that, she decided she needed to focus on your family and Clan for a little while." Blazefur hissed.


Stagstep crumpled onto his side, shuddering in pain as blood seeped out from under his eyelids. Mossvine turned on Swanfoot, raking her claws down the side of the she-cat's face. "Get out of here before I kill you!" Mossvine growled, baring her teeth. "And don't think I won't do it."


Poppypounce's eyes widened in fear when she saw Firefang coming towards her. "You can attack me all you want, don't hurt Otterstream." The dark ginger she-cat begged, shooting an alarmed glance over her shoulder to where the crippled she-cat was quivering in fear. Petalbound, Lizardstrike and Shadepool had left to go and help with another fight on the other side of the clearing.


Mossycreek stiffened when she saw Pebbleclaw shooting across the clearing towards the nursery. She looked around quickly, whimpering when she saw that Raggedtail was fighting with Badgertail and Muddapple. I'm the only one who can protect my sister... She thought.

The grey she-cat launched herself forward, barreling into Pebbleclaw. The young she-cat who was barely old enough to be a warrior clambered with the older tom, trying her hardest to protect her sister. Mossycreek sank her teeth into Pebbleclaw's neck, trying to drag him away from the nursery.

Mossycreek let out a shocked shriek when a copper taste filled her mouth and she felt Pebbleclaw go still. The grey she-cat stood there, staring down at the tom in horror, his blood dripping from her jaws. I... I killed him...


Ramhorn looked up in shock when Brindlepaw bundled into the nursery, a hopeful glimmer in her eye. "Pineclan came to help!" The white tom felt his heart in his chest still for a moment.

Is Wasptail here?! What if she gets hurt?!

JINXCLAN
[Jinxstar, Brindlethorn, Velvetrabbit, Leopardclaw, Birchfeather]

Leopardclaw and Birchfeather were standing next to the entrance to camp when Rowanpelt burst through yowling for Jinxstar.

"Brindlethorn, Leopardclaw, Birchfeather! To me, we have a clan to help!" Jinxstar said as he started to leave camp with Rowanpelt.

"Wait! I am coming too!" Velvetrabbit said as she ran after them, "I want to help!"

Velvetrabbit shot a knowing glance at Rowanpelt, her fears of him being hurt or killed overrode her own thoughts of self-preservation. She would not take no for an answer, and she followed the group out of camp.

"Keep the clan safe!" Jinxstar called back as his clan followed the Pineclan warrior.

Everything had happened so fast that Willowbolt and Skydapple could only watch their mates leave. Frecklepaw huddled close to her mother, afraid her father might not come home. Skydapple cooed to her as Stormpaw glared after them, envious that he was not able to join them.

Ashpaw and Blackberry shot into the den, preparing for the warriors to return, and gathering the herbs that the might need to help them.

Jinxstar wondered if he was doing the right thing, but he knew that helping others was what he was suppose to do.

Once the group reached camp, his cats dove right into it. Jinxstar ran over to where Squirrelstar was, hoping that he might be able to help her. Velvetrabbit stayed close to rowanpelt, while Brindlethorn ran to the nursery to help and Leopardclaw ran towards the medicine den. Birchfeather was not sure what to do, so he jumped into the closest fray to him in hopes of breaking it up.

a big smile appeared on freckleheart's face when the she-cat accepted the proposal. "you're going to be a wonderful mate." he purred softly, nuzzling the she-cat. [ shall they walk off into the forest and fade to black? ]

spotting blazefur protecting the leader, cloudwatcher hurried over to join his side. before she could reach him, she attacked a random enemy cat from tumbleclan. the she-cat did not hold back from hurting the enemy feline.

blossomstep gazed in dismay as she watched her clan attack the tumbleclan cats. bleakpelt was part of tumbleclan! she did not want to fight him. noticing bleakpelt hurrying to her, she tilted her ears back. "you're not going to hurt me are you, bleakpelt?" she questioned, focusing her attention on the tom. she prayed to starclan that he would not attack her, but he would be going against his leader and clan.

snowmouse hissed when she felt a cat pounce on her - firefang. she was shocked to hear that cat.. apologize? "why are you apologizing?" she questioned, hesitant to swing her claws. she tried her best to roll out from underneath the feline.

briefly, chestnutstar watched her clan take on the tumbleclan cats. noticing the enemy cats running toward the nursery, she hurried over to help defend it. what cowards! she thought, hissing and cursing under her breath.

Tumble's war - Sage, Swan, Eagle, Badger, Bleak, Fire, Pebble, Ripped and Mud

"See, Sagestar..." Eagleclaw urged. "Its not worth it!" Sagestar flicked an ear in acknowledgement but he was furious, and a sharp yowl only fuelled his fury. Turning his head, Sagestar spotted the limp body of Pebbleclaw sag to the ground. "Looks like one of YOUR filthy cats has killed one of MINE!" Sagestar hissed, fur prickling. Eagleclaw's attention was averted. Her friend as gone, and she felt the first billings of despair in a long time. "Oh, Pebbleclaw..." She gasped. Stumbling over to his body, she could have attacked Mossycreek. She didn't. Curiously enough, Eagleclaw merely asked her to help her move Pebble' s body. " help me...whoever you are."

Firefang felt as though lightning had struck her side. Gasping for air, the ginger cat twisted round to spot a fierce looking warrior. With a shriek, Firefang sunk her teeth into Wasptail' s leg. "Sorry." She whimpered, her voice muffled. Why, why why?! The previous cat she had attacked, Snowmouse appeared to have a question. Her answer was simply this." I'm scared!" Firefang yowled. She was barely older than an apprentice, plus she had witnessed a murder and had been severely beaten up. "I am scared!" Meanwhile Muddapple, after a short tussle with Raggedtail, had fled with several hashes in his fur. Badgertail cursed, swiping at Raggedtail. "I FIGHT FOR TUMBLECLAN!" He yowled."AND FOR ADDERCLOUD!" Although unbeknownst to him, his mate was wishing that there wasn't a war and that Badger hadn't been so rash.

Crashing to the ground, Rippedear was hissing and spitting. His pride grievously wounded, the calico looked around for his attacker. He scarily couldn't find him. "Come out, coward!" Rippedear scorned, eyes blazing angrily. His claws were hungry for blood. The attacker had been Larkpelt. Bleakpelt was surging calmly to Blossomstep. "Pretend you have struck me down." He ordered. "I would have done the reverse, but female rights and all that." The silver tabby muttered. Swanfoot leered at Mossvine, but her taunts were snatched out of her mouth when a blue eyed beauty tackled her. "Looks like somebody is going to kill me for you..." She replied. (MOSSVINE AND CLOUDWATCHER)

[Jinxstar, Brindlethorn, Velvetrabbit, Leopardclaw, Birchfeather]

"Leave now, Sagestar, you have laready lost one cat, why lose more?" Jinxstar said as he stood tall by the side of Squirrelstar, his eyes narrowed and his muscles ready to pounce on the leader if he needed to.

Brindelthorn arrived at the nursery and pounced on whatever enemy cat was trying to get in, his claws unsheathed and his teeth searching for neck fur.

Leopardclaw arrived at the medicine den and looked around for any cat that might be threatenting it, "I am here to help you." He said to the medcine cat of Echoclan.

Velvetrabbit still stayed close to Rowanpelt, unsure as to what to do in a fight since she had never been in one, "This is chaos!" She snarled at him.

Birchfeather appeared at Larkpelt's side, "Need help?" he asked as he glared at Rippedear.

cloudwatcher flicked an ear toward mossvine when swanfoot spoke to her. did they know each other? either way, swanfoot was the enemy. hissing, she swiped her claws toward swanfoot's face.

blossomstep gave a weak smile when bleakpelt spoke. she was thankful that he was not going to attack her. "is that another attempt at humor, bleakpelt?" she inquired with a soft laugh before pouncing on bleakpelt. she extended her claws and swiped, but she hit air instead of bleakpelt's face. as long as she acted like she was attacking him, no one would grow suspicious.

snowmouse flattened her ears as she watched the young she-cat explain that she was scared. "come here, dear. you don't have to fight if you don't want to." she urged, hissing quietly when the young she-cat bit down on another warrior's leg. "you don't have to fight." she repeated, feeling pity for the young warrior. if she was scared, she did not have to fight. firefang appeared to be rather young too.

Tigerwing snarled as they raced into EchoClan's clearing to aid their ally. He dodged attacks and reached a PineClan cat. "Mintclaw,"he spat viciously, "Why in the name of StarClan would Shadowstar allow a kit to a battle?" he slashed outstretched claws across the deputy's face.

"Take your Clan and leave, Sagestar." Squirrelstar growled, nodding slightly to Jinxstar as he joined them.


Mossycreek looked at Eagleclaw, a bewildered look on her face. "I didn't mean to kill him! I was trying to pull him away from the nursery." She sobbed as she helped Eagleclaw move Pebbleclaw's body. "I didn't mean to..."


Raggedtail jumped back from Badgertail's attack, hissing furiously. "Go home!" He growled. "You already lost one of your own, there isn't any need to lose more!"


Mossvine shot a grateful glance at Cloudwatcher. "I don't care who kills you, Swanfoot. As long as you die, I'll be fine." The white and calico she-cat spat.


Ramhorn looked up in shock when Brindlepaw bundled into the nursery, a hopeful glimmer in her eye. "Pineclan came to help!" The white tom felt his heart in his chest still for a moment.
