Caitlin's eyes went wide. She ran after Jordan, "Wait! Jordan, what do you mean?" She asked. Caitlin looked confused, "Jordan... Luke isn't my boyfriend, I don't even like him! And why wouldn't I want to be friends with you? What did he say to you?" She asked.

Jordan narrowed his eyes. "Why should I believe you? How can I know who's lying?" He choked out. "At least Luke is honest. I couldn't like him less, but at least he was honest. If you think I'm clingy- if you don't like me, I couldn't care more about that. I thought we were friends."

Caitlin felt her heart sink, "Jordan I wouldn't lie to you! He's not my boyfriend, whateverr Luke told you was a lie. Me and him, will never be a thing! We are friends and I don't think you're clingy! Please believe me I'm not lying to you!" She pleaded. Ciatlin gulped, she couldn't believe Luke would lie about something like that, even if he did like her.

Jordan knew Caitling was being honest. Luke did seem like the kind of person to do that. "OKay..." Jordan said. "I believe you. But only 'cause Luke is more likely to lie about that." He said, his tone a bit grumpy but not as furious.

"What did he tell you?" she asked, Caitlin's voice sounding more agitated then it did before. She didn't want to believe that her close friends would lie about something like that, but Jordan wouldn't have had that reaction if Luke didn't say something.

Jordan glanced downwards. "O-oh… He said I was clingy, and you would just keep getting angrier with me. He hinted that you liked him, and… something else a bit more personal." Jordan said, looking back up.

She wondered what Jordan meant by something personal but felt it would be best to not pressure him into answering it. Caitlin looked back at Jordan, "Well then everythign he said to you was a lie. I don't like him, I don't think your clingy and you're a great friend Jordan, I wouldn't trade you for the world." She said with a soft smile. Once Caitlin realized what she said, she blushed faintly, and just hoped Jordan wouldn't notice.

Jordan smiled. "Me too. Thank you." He said, wondering if he was supposed to hug her now. But then, out of the corner of his eyes, Jordan spotted a familiar blond boy. "We don't… have to hang out with him more, right?" Jordan asked quietly.

Cailtin glanced towards Luke, then she looked back towards Jordan, "No, we don't. You can just ignore him." she said. "Bu tthere is no way in heck he's not getting scolded." she muttered under her breath.
