Sheepclaw knew it was rude, but she couldn't help but smile slightly when she noticed Webfang leaving. Returning her attention back to Ashenclaw she couldn't help but find his nervousness endearing, "I'm doing good," she purred, "And you? How's Frostpaw's training going? Oatstar has yet to grant me an apprentice but I'm definitely getting one soon."

"I'm doing fine as well," he meowed with a smile. "Oh, and Frostpaw's training has gone great! I actually just spoke to Emberstar about her being ready to become a warrior. I feel bad for putting it off for so long - I'm really going to miss mentoring her. She was a fantastic student." He sighed. Suddenly remembering the last part of what Sheepclaw had said, he quickly responded, "Oh, yes, I'm sure you'll get an apprentice soon!" He inwardly cringed, having probably said it way too eagerly. In an effort to leave it on a good note instead of an awkward one, he added with a smile, "I bet you would make an excellent mentor."

"Aww, thanks," the female purred, trying to hide her embarrassment despite her tinted cheeks. She couldn't help but think of what her clan-mates would think right now. Despite that, she pushed it out of the way and forced out, "U-um would you like t-to meet here again som-sometime?" She asked rapidly, cringing slightly since she didn't want him to feel awkward. "I really like talking to you." Sheepclaw mentally slapped herself in the face, immediately wishing herself to take it back, but it was too late.

Aw... he thought when he caught her blushing, but mentally scolded himself for it. Ashenclaw ... what are you thinking, are you crazy? For a moment after her question, Ashenclaw thought he had heard wrong. She really liked talking to him? Before he could think better of it, he blurted out, "Yes! Th-that would be great! Uh.. um..." he trailed off, embarrassed at just how excited he sounded.

"Great!" She purred, "I'll try getting on a hunting or border patrol soon. It's been nice seeing you, but I think I have to go now. I'm pretty sure Webfang's worried why you haven't returned to camp yet." Being deputy, Sheepclaw knew it would be no problem getting on a patrol and was excited for their next visit. She kept telling herself that what she was doing wasn't wrong or anything... was it? "Good bye!" She added, quite reluctantly, and then went to go find Barleystorm to finish the patrol.

"Yeah, it would probably be best to get going," he agreed. He hoped that Webfang wasn't starting to get suspicious. As Sheepclaw headed off to return to the patrol, Ashenclaw called "Goodbye! I'm looking forward to seeing you again." A few moments ago he would have instantly regretted the last bit, but now he wasn't sure. The deputy turned to head back to camp, a smile on his face.

Cinderblaze
Cinderblaze was still upset by his retreat from her but she still listened and allowed a smile to play on her lips as she listened to Asptail. She had a brief moment of worry for his sister Barkknot, knowing the molly had always been an anxious type. But to hear it had gotten worse was never good news... But she didn't want to go into it, feeling as if darkening would do no good. "It's a mystery how you do it Asptail. I couldn't put with any of that for too long I tell you. Honestly, your stronger than any warrior." She chuckled, giving him a gentle nudge of affection.

Mistlepaw
Mistlepaw felt her ear twitch in anger as she continued to storm forward towards the tom o the other side of the body. "So you are telling me that your incapability to catch a simple squirrel lead you to stand at the border simply to stop others from catching your failure?" She hissed, clearly not happy with misinformation her catch as she now stood face to fact with Duskpaws, caring not that she had crossed the border. "Do you not have anything better to do?"

Hearthflame
Hearthflame had woken up later that evening, feeling a little tired after running back and forth for herbs during Whitenose's kitting. He was glad it was successful, though he had gotten the hang of delivering kits by now. He looked around and noticed that Aspenleaf wasn't there. Guess she went for herbs. I should too. He thought as he shook the moss from his nest off and exited camp. He traveled along the border, knowing that a few of the herbs they needed grew in bundles around this area. As is the day in the life of Hearthflame.

Tumbleclan' s war - Sage, Swan, Badger, Bleak, Fire, Pebble, Eagle, Ripped and Mud.

It was a cacophony of noise. Yowls, shrieks, hisses and snarls. Sagestar pushed through the tide of claws, hissing and spitting in fury. He was even more furious when Obsidianclan crashed thriugh the undergrowth. Bleakpelt was mortified, he could see Blossomstep, and naturally for the sake of his clan, Bleakpelt was going to have to fight her. "Oh Starclan." He grumbled. The silver tabby drew his eyes away from Blossomstep. Love or Loyalty?

Eagleclaw thought this fight unnecessary. Eyes shining brightly, Eagleclaw darting amongst the throng of cats. She could see Sagestar rushing towards Squirrelstar. "Sagestar, stop, she's pregnant!" Eagleclaw yowled. Swanfoot was easily dodging blows but she wasn't dishing them out! Growling, the white warrior struck out, like a bolt of lightning, at Stagstep."Feel my fury!" She sneered. Firefang was fighting only because Swanfoot was a scary cat. She really felt sorry for Stagstep, the ginger cat knew what those claws felt like. Firefang randomly pounced on a pale furred warrior. Snowmouse. "Sorry." She mumbled. Rippedear and Muddapple were fightning side by aide, Rippedear the epitome of fury, Muddapple the epitome of fear. Badgertail and Pebbleclaw were not sure if it was right or wrong to fight. They fought regardless.

~Many Voices Crying Out As One~

Applefur and Blazefur jumped between Sagestar and Squirrelstar, hissing loudly. "Do you have no honor?!" Applefur yowled at the leader, lashing out at him.

Stagstep shrieked in pain when he felt Swanfoot's claws rip at the fur on his shoulders. Mossvine and Wildpoppy hurried to aid their family member. "This is ridiculous!" Mossvine growled at Swanfoot. "This isn't even our fight! It's Sagestar's and Squirrelstar's!"

Raggedtail and Mossycreek were crouched outside of the nursery, hissing and lashing out at anyone who came towards the entrance. Mossycreek shot an anxious glance into the nursery, where her littermate, Bayfur, was currently kitting. The grey she-cat shot a quick glance towards Stagstep, praying that he could be safe.

Poppypounce was outside of the medicine cat den with Petalbound, Lizardstrike and Shadepool, protecting Otterstream.

"Hi!" Sedgetail brightened when she saw the tom, hurrying forward to nuzzle him affectionately. The silver tabby shook her head. "You don't need to apologize to me. Sagestar's declaration of war just startled me, that's all." Sedgetail tilted her head, confusion flashing in her eyes. "A little loose-minded?" She echoed as if prompting him to continue. She didn't give him a chance to answer before speaking again, "Are you going to be in the battle?"

"I'm Juniperfoot. Nice to meet you guys," The she-cat replied. Her gaze flicked to Dustpaw, noting his hostility. "I have an apprentice too, Sunpaw. He's about a moon or so younger than you. You might meet him at the next gathering." Juniperfoot told him. "Sunpaw's not too chatty but he's very smart and kind. His brother is the more talkative of the pair." She smiled, proud of her clan. When she'd joined, the clan had been tiny but now Caveclan had grown stronger. And the clan would only to grow.

Lilystem narrowed her eyes as Chiveclaw whispered into her ear, "They're allies. Brookclan I think?" As he'd been part of Caveclan longer than Lilystem, he'd had more of a chance to explore the territory and find the borders. Lilystem acknowledged his words with a brief nod and focused on the two Brookclan cats curiously. "Yes. I'm Lilystem and this is Chiveclaw." She introduced them. "Your from Brookclan?"
