"Oh it was nothing." she lied. Caitlin took a bite of her food but didn't take her eyes off the table. "He just..uh had another question about soccer practice..." she lied once again. Caitlin finished her sandwhich pretty quickly.

Jordan shook his head. "Oh." He said coldly. Something about Caitlin's expression- the way she didn't look at him- made him think. But, would she lie to him? Caitlin was such an honest person! Jordan felt mixed emotions. He didn't say anything else throughout lunch period, and finished his food in silence.

Caitlin stepepd away from the lunch table and followed Jordan towards the trash can. "Ready fro PE?" she asked with a smile, trying to act like her normal self. She waked towards her locker with Jordan to grab her things. Luckily the Gym was really clsoe to their lockers.

Jordan stood and walked to the trash with her. "Yeah." He said flatly, still wondering what Caitlin was hiding from him. Had Luke confessed to liking her? Jordan narrowed his eyes. The thought was revolting. He walked silently with her to the lockers.

Once he entered gym class, Jordan instantly spotted Luke. It was frustrating, how many classes they had together. But Jordan was a bit relieved. After glancing around to check that Caitlin wasn't watching, he walked over to Luke. "Why isn't Caitlin talking to me?" He asked. "What did you say to her?"

Caitlin was talking to a group of girls in the locker room.

Luke looked at Jordan. The guy he was talking to said goodbye and walked away. A smirk appeared on Lukes face, "Don't blame me. But looks like you have some competition." He said. "She'll just get angrier the closer you stick. You're way to clingy, if you're not careful she's going to find out you like her before you can tell her." He finished. Luke stared Jordan in the eye.

Jordan narrowed his eyes. "Is that really the problem?" He asked, not wanting to believe it. His voice cracked the slightest bit. He turned and walked away, considering Luke's words. Was Jordan clingy? Did he like Caitlin? Jordan shook his head and forced himself to stop thinking about it. He didn't even need to know, if Caitlin just thought of him as a friend.
A clingy friend.

Cailtin headed out of the locker room. She jogged up to Jordan, "Heyo!" she said. Caitlin quickly tied her shoes. She ignored the fact the she ntoiced Luke and Jordan talkign earlier, she honestly couldn't tell if the hated eachother or couldn't care less about eachother.

Jordan resisted the urge to act as if everything was normal. He stayed silent as Caitlin tied her shoes, and kept his gaze downwards. Why was Caitlin acting friendly? If she didn't like him, she could say so. If she didn't want to be friends, Jordan would leave her alone.

Caitlin looked at Jordan. "Jordan, are you okay? Is something wrong?" she asked. Caitlin began to wonder what Luke said to Jordan. SHe hoped he didn't say anything about the confession.

Jordan snapped his gaze and locked eyes with Caitlin. "Of course something's wrong! Why should Luke have to talk to me when you just lied about it? If you don't wanna be friends just say so!" He said harshly, his eyes flashing with betrayal and anger. "I shouldn't have to be told this by Luke. Well, I hope your happy with your new boyfriend!" Jordan retorted, his voice cracking. He turned and walked swiftly to the other side of the gym.
