"I hope they're both alright, considering what happened." Drimaethor said under his breath. He looked over at Guzore with the marshmallows in his arms and chuckled.

"You want me to get a fire started?" He asked taking out his Bow of Flames.

Alright Della, hurry back! That sounds like a great idea, Drimaethor! It sure has been chaotic with all the ghosts and demons and magic and stuff. How are you feeling about all of it?

"Definitely an interesting experience especially with you guys. But I do hope we work out these problems before anything major happens" he leaned against a tree and scratched his chin then pulled out his amulet.

"Guzore this may be a hard question to answer but do you possibly know where this amulet is from?"

Jack's hand wavered before grabbing the handle as if pulled by a magnet.
"Woah, it feels... Tingly?" Jack gently waved the sword back and forth, watching what seemed to be shadow of the sword right behind it. As he swung it a little, the blade seemed to brighten, shimmering faintly silver as if it was excited by the prospect of being wielded.
"Wow... It's... beautiful..." As Jack continued to swing just a little harder, he saw the glow fluctuate in the most amazing of patterns. Jack didn't notice his hand shake more and more every time he swung. And he certainly didn't notice that he was swinging the sword far faster than he needed to.
Jack stopped swinging the sword. "Sorry. Ah, take it back. Ow. Please. It... hurts."

Oh! Zeph exclaimed.
He grabbed the sword from jacks hands.
That's not suppose to happen. Zeph said anxiously.
I'll uh. Have to fix that- when I break the curse, of course.
Are you okay? Zeph could feel how warm the handle was- it stung even in his hands.
It felt like it was... vibrating?
Zeph withdrew his stele, etching small symbols onto the handle of the sword.
What do you think?
Of the sword- I mean.

Guzore held Drimaethor's amulet in his hand and examined it.
Hmmm... This looks like the 9th or so emblem of the Royal Family. Probably from the Royal Army's side. Where'd you find it?

"Uh, you know how sometimes people feel like a sword is an extension of them? I felt like an extension of the sword. I felt like I could do anything," Jack winced and shook his hand, until he realized that his hand had been shaking the entire time.
"I'm not sure what to think about it. It's... amazing... But, at the same time, it was hard to think about anything else while I was wielding, or it was wielding, uh, when I was holding it. I'd be scared to use it in an actual fight. But then again I've always been a bit more susceptible to magic then most. I'm not sure what you were doing, or how you were doing it without your magic, but, uh, I'd want to be sure that you were careful about how you went about making it. If I was someone that hid behind their books and was scared of progress I would probably try to convince you to stop, but, really, that sword is awesome."

What? Oh- sorry. Zeph said, looking up from the sword in his hands.
How long had he been looking at it?
Zeph had to concentrate for a moment to think about what Jack was just saying.
Uh- Yeah. It's definately... Somethig.
its a- uh. Family heirloom, actually.

I probably shouldn't of experimented on it.
And as for the magic portion. Zeph smirked, twirling his stele between his fingers.
Rune magic manipulates the elements and uses already existing magic- To an extent, that is. I'm still limited.
See, the thing about the curse is that- I can't use my OWN magic- but I can still use residual magic left inside Objects. Zeph chuckled slightly.
It's actually rather brilliantly.
Zeph flinched again, as a shower of bright blue sparks exploded across the room.
Zeph gave a annoyed look at the rune, that was now shimmering and vibrating.
I actually don't know why that keeps happening.
Zeph looke back towards Jack, forgetting he was there momentarily.
Thanks for the concern, by the way. I'll need to tweak this a bit.
I'm not sure how far or effective my runes will be until I can charge my own magic into it though.
As you can see, the effects aren't really stabilized. Zeph said- nodding towards Jacks shaking hand.
Want me to try and take care of that?

"Uhhh," Jack hesitated as another rune burst into white flame before subsiding back into a more runic form. There are worse things than a shaky hand that could result from unstable magic. "I'm good. I think it might get better on its own." Jack's hand shaked out a sarcastic reply to Jack's statement.
"Uh, actually, how would you try to help? It's a little annoying."

Drimaethor raised his eyebrows. He had no idea that his fathers amulet belonged to the royal army.

"Um well the zora who found me said that it was already around my neck when I washed up on shore so I can only assume that it belonged to my father" He answered.

Drimaethor looked at the amulet again and pondered why his father would have it. Was he in the army before he was born?
