Ice nodded in agreement. Just don't steal all of the eggs while you are at it, thought Ice with a bit of amusement. She looked around, just in case if anybody was eavesdropping or watching them during their conversation. While she was looking around, she made sure to see if there were any bird nests in the area.

As Sky landed on a sturdy branch, she notices a nest with an egg in it. Just one. That's all.
And the Mama Birdie isn't there to protect it.
"Light!" Sky called out to him. "I found one! How do we get it down?"

Sky rolled her eyes as she saw Light gesturing her to get the egg.
"What am I, a vulture? I should be sprouting wings by now!" Sky playfully teased as she managed to get her paws on the somehow-not-possible-to-be-this-tiny-egg. She used her tail to wrap around the egg carefully.
"What now? To the hiding place?" Sky asked as she looked around all over to make sure there aren't any sneak-attackers.

Tide purrs, glancing around also. Waiting for Flower to respond, he flicks his tail over hers, resting it there. "So all together we have ... 9 eggs? That's a good number!" Tide purrs, smiling happily. This friendly competitive game was a very good way to relax the clan, Tide thought.

Ice smiled. 9 eggs? Wow, she thought. While waiting for Flower to respond, Ice thought of an idea.
"When we go look for eggs, should we split up? Or should we stay together?" Ice thought that splitting up will make things more easier, and they could cover more ground. She waited for the other two to respond.

Ice nodded in agreement again. She had thought about stealing eggs from the other tribe members, - no, not Flower's or Tide's, they're a team now - but she decided that it would be too risky. Ice knew that many tribe members are really good at hiding their eggs, so the first step would be to find where the hiding place is. Going after someone else's eggs would mess up our entire competition, she thought as she continued to think about possible strategies.

Flower That Blooms in Shade
"I have two eggs," she piped up cheerfully. The awkwardness had ebbed with all three of them together. Flower assumed Ice did not even notice the hesitancy in her carefully placed words and actions. "I hid them under the hollow of a boulder along the lake. Off in that direction," Flower continued, using a dip of her head to indicate the general direction. They were not far apart thankfully. "I agree with splitting up, and also keeping our eggs where they are. We could probably cover a larger area, and our eggs won't be taken as a whole if they are discovered. If anyone sees someone else out there, perhaps we should have a meeting point? We would not want them getting an idea of where we are hiding everything," Flower ended her lengthy explanation, losing her words to speak as she felt Tide overlap his tail with hers. She felt her fur heating up with the gesture. Flower was tongue tied, and hoped that Ice would urge them to continue their mission before she completely embarrassed herself.
