Soul simply beamed a smile and gave Beech Song a thumbs up as a way of saying it was no problem at all. He had always liked the small blonde, finding their friendly nature to be a welcomed presence in his life. He wasn't sure if the other old agree, but he considered them a good friend, one he was quite fond of. Though, why were they staring?"Plans? Hmm... I have work this afternoon but seeing as I don't have yoga today, nope. Nothing fun." He replied, looking over briefly at Piers.

Spirit was far from being a morning person like her philosophical brother. She wasn't a night person, but she hated the mornings. It was too bright for her liking. Too bright, too early, too many watchful eyes, and too many nuisances. She preferred the evenings, even tolerated the afternoons. Just. Not. Mornings. But alas, she had made a promise with Soul that she'd continue her search for a job to help pay off the mortgage. So, with a low growl, she opened her blue and yellow eyes and glared at the large teddy bear gripped in her clutch. "I hate that goody two shoes, you know..." She told the stuffed bear as if it understood when she spoke of Soul. With one last annoyed sigh, Spirit rose from bed, got after a quick shower, grabbed her green satchel, and left for the world beyond her door. All the while regretting ever making that dumb promise...

"Everything's fun if you put the right spin on it!" Beech pirouetted in the middle of their sentence and let out a breathless chuckle as if to prove their point. "I'm heading down to the bookstore after this, got something to pick up, but otherwise I'm free as a frog! Or is it bird?" They stopped twisting their hat ribbon and interlocked their fingers, flapping their hands like a bird's wings. "Yes, I think it's birds," Beech mused, more to themself than anyone else which was odd for a person who did everything for the 'benefit' of others. They snapped out of reflection pretty quickly, offering a little laugh. "Being a politician isn't work to me, it's a lifestyle! I can't believe I'm being paid just to listen to people and help the town, but I guess you gotta pay the bills somehow!" They waved to the passerbys outside the store, most of who didn't return the gesture, hustling about their day, but that didn't seem to deter Beech in the slightest. "Hey I know! You should come with me!"

"Yeah. Because the Wastelands are dusty and desolate. Like this store. Nothing living can survive." She smirked, but it seemed halfhearted. Hawthorne had just arrived back at camp with Coltsfoot. Too late. Asphodelkit was dead. Hey, those are people! Do they like mossball? Dusty scrunched her eyebrows. What the... That voice... A..Asphodelkit? ..Heehee! Maybe! What's there to do around here, anyway? Oh my claws and frenzy... Dusty facepalmed. Of all the things that could happen... The dead kit would of course be the cat that gets to influence Dusty the most. "So, uh... Random theoretical question, has a cat... y'know.. ever.. died? In either of your clans?" Oh, is that what this is? Am I dead? Cool. Dusty growled under he breath. Shut up for three minutes, Asphodelkit. I'm trying to figure something out.

Tony mentally slapped himself, of course. Dusty lived in a wasteland, it was only natural she'd reply like that. ''Some can survive if they adapt, however you won't.'' he hissed testily. His clan had been quiet for a while Purr... so none of his clan members were currently controlling his thoughts, apart from maybe Loonheart whom was just silently blubbering, so she wasn't really thinking or Mudkit but he was solely focussed on watching over Dustpaw and due to how little Tony payed any interest in kittens or dead cats, Mudkit's desperate warnings fell on deaf ears. Turning to Dusty, Tony nodded slowly. ''Yeah...Mudkit.'' He murmured. ''It was a long time ago though, why?'' He added suspiciously.

Dusty gulped from her drink. "Well, I'm doing ok so far." Mudkit sounds like fun. Does he know Mossball? See if there are any toys, I wanna playy! Asphodelkit, please, be quiet! Dusty ground her teeth together, attempting to drown out the hyperactive kit. "Wow, so you didn't lose any cats from Ravenstar's attack, OR Squirrelstar's attack? Dang, whatever you've been doing to your cats, you're doing something right." She glanced down at her energy drink. "Does Mudkit still try to influence or talk to you?"

''Good for you.'' he murmured sarcastically, leaning against the counter. Tony could vaguely hear the chattering of his cats, but queerly it seemed subdued. Shuffling his feet uncomfortably, Tony watched a fly crawl across the window. Grimacing as he watched it fly away, droning annoyingly, he turned to Dusty and shrugged. ''They're strong I guess.'' he murmured. He didn't want to admit it'd mostly been a hit and miss situation. I think you should be nicer to Dusty came a familiar voice, it was Dustpaw. I respect you, Dustpaw, but no thank you. I'll be civil though... he thought. I don't trust Dusty. came another, it was Bleakpelt and Tony was grateful for him. Although he could sense both seemed to have an affection of sorts. ''Mudkit...nah, not really. I can hear him from time to time, but nah, he doesn't really talk to me much.'' Tony sighed. ''I don't really listen to young cats.''
