An extremely offended look passed over Oscar's face as Cael's words. Even if what he'd said hadn't meant to be rude- the snow leopard immediately picked it up that way. Quickly opening his mouth to retort and try to calm his racing heart he was cut off by the dragon-like creatures exploding from another room.
Of course he screamed again, this time much louder.
Another human leapt at the creatures and Cael swapped his attention to the snarling animals, the entire atmosphere of the room switching from confusion to a mix of shock and anger. Oscar struggled to his feet, staggering backwards a few steps before turning on his heel and grabbing the nearest door handle. No way was he staying around here. He easily yanked it back open, leapt through and slammed it after him.

The blue-skinned woman cussed under her breath. What had he been thinking? The creatures hadn't been paying much attention to them- but now he'd made them mad. Against one of them, Kaulaur wouldn't be all that worried; but there were a lot more than one, and in a confined space they were at a distinct disadvantage. She cussed again, and a few more times just for good measure- damn that idiot, was he trying to get himself and everyone else killed? What kind of plan was that?
She considered her options: she could go hide in one of the doors and risk letting the others kill each other and leaving herself vulnerable and cornered when the dragons were done dealing with everyone else- in short, get killed- or she could do what Palva would've done (and also probably get killed). She decided to get herself killed.
"Ey!" she shouted at the beasts, standing up and lifting the pistol into clear sight, keeping it aimed at the eye socket of the leading creature, the one the damned trigger-happy fool had shot. "You take another step and I'll press this trigger. It probably won't kill you or hinder you from killing me, but I assume your eyesight is something you would prefer to keep. And you idiots over there- I swear if you fire another shot and make this situation any worse than it already is I'll shoot you myself. Now- are we gonna talk this out over a cup of tea, or do you all want me to put one of these poisonous little needles through your brains so we can all get some peace and quiet?"

Sydney flinched as someone came barging in, slamming the door behind them, and jerked back so he wouldn't touch them. He couldn't see very well, dark as the room was, so he had no idea what was going on.

Orion

He looked around at the woman yelling, her voice steely. Nope, I'm good where I am, thank you. The thought passed through his brain, and he curled up tighter.

The little cockatiel shrieked yet again, giving Cael another good peck on the head before flying back over to the dragons. He perched on Tavurth's head yet again, and the large, ram-horned dragon snarled angrily at Cael. He heard a voice, suddenly - a female. Tavurth glanced over to see a blue-pelted Fleshy with a tiny fire-pellet stick pointed his way, yelling at him. He growled lowly, crouching down and backing up, lashing his long tail angrily. Whoever these Fleshies were, they were starting to get on his nerves.
Two darker brown dragons - one with a scarred-up chest, the other with a scarred-over eye - made their way over to Tavurth's sides, as if they were guarding him. They watched over the situation warily, ready to strike out if necessary. However, they made no immediate moves to attack.

The cat held her paws out in what she hoped was a peaceful gesture
"Hey. You started us. They didn't mean it, they're sorry, we don't want to fight. Do you understand me?"

She drug the last part out as if that might help them understand her words.

Kaulaur relaxed slightly when she realized the creatures weren't going to kill her immediately.
"Alright. The cat's right. If you can understand me, here's the deal. We calm down, nobody tries to kill each other, and nobody gets hurt. Sound fair?"

Nav
Nav wasn't sure whether he should be terrified or excited. On one hand, there were dragons. On the other hand, there were dragons. It was like an awesome fantasy novel, except right in front of him where he could be eaten or killed in some other horrible manner.
As he generally liked being alive, Nav retreated to the far side of the room, away from most the insanity. He wasn't exactly sure how all this had happened, but his general rule when it came to violence was to get as far away as possible, as fast as possible. Unless he was winning the fight. Then he would be an idiot and get hurt.

Eirian and Kalyna
Eirian wasn't sure why there were dragons, but it didn't seem like the why was the important thing right now. She held her gun out in front of her, ready to defend herself and her crew if anyone got too close. Even with the blue lady and the cat (more things not to question) trying to calm the fight down, it didn't look like anything good was going to be happening. Behind her, Kalyna drew her gun as well.

Cy
Fighting was not something Cy was good with. He was the one who stayed on the ship and ran strategy during a raid. He was the one who always obeyed the law while docked to avoid the chance of getting into trouble. He was the one who get nervous when Eirian and Kalyna trained near him.
It took him about a second to decide that his life was more important than staying with the others. He opened the nearest door to him, and went in, at the fastest speed his chair could go at - which was still far, far too slow for him. The room he found himself in seemed to already be occupied by another kid and humanoid leopard thing, which was also terrifying but enough better than the battle outside that he wasn't about to go back out.

Scrambling away from the door with his tail tucked between his legs he glanced around, blinking. The room was rather dark- it took his eyes a lot longer than he'd like to admit to adjust to the lighting. When they did, the first thing he noticed was the other humanoid figure in the room with him. He leapt backwards, snapping his mouth shut and willing himself not to scream again. No more screaming. That was enough screaming. He inhaled sharply, ears pinned against his head.
"W-Who's there..?" He stammered. In his mind he'd imagined himself sounding a lot braver when he said that and mentally cringed.
When Cy opened the door, the snow leopard leapt sideways, bumping into the right wall and spinning around with a yelp as if the barrier itself might've been another enemy. He momentarily relaxing when he realized it was only more polka dot wallpaper.
