Folds of Time (Alaska and Dalek)

Ande blushed through the dark fur on his face and pushed the giraffe ba k towards her, "you can keep it."
His excuse was, "I don't have anywhere to put it!"
"Sure, we can go to my place after were done here today, we usually go back to Dragon's but we can hang out at my house, right guys?" He smiled.
"Yeah!! Mrs. Z's cooking is greeeeeeat!!" He mumbled around a bite of chicken.
Ayasha nodded, "What did your dad make last night?"
"Ghost shaped sugar cookies! Oh my gosh you guys are gonna love them!"

"I bet," Missy replied as the waitress set the hot dog in front of her. At least it smelt like beef, not dog. Good! She tried a bite before eating like a regular mako. After swallowing, Missy replied, "So what should we do now? I take it not just go to the rides right away- how about we walk around a bit to find the ultimate roller coaster?" She asked, more excited than usual to get on the Earthen amusement ride. Missy put the giraffe into one of the pockets of her satchel before looking back at the group and awaiting their opinions.

Ande smiled, "yeah, and we can play games!! Last time I washere, i won a beta fish in one of the ring toss games! I want to try and won another one!" He grinned, starting off towards the game corner.
Ayasha walked up beside him, "I still have mine!"
"Yeah!" He laughed, "you used your tail to throw it!"
Dragon walked next to Mistress, "They've been best friends since birth, its crazy how unlike the other they are. I usually feel like a third wheel," he explained.

Missy walked behind the best friends. If that was how it went, "Then what does that make me?" Missy asked, tilting her head slightly, almost worried. The posse stopped at one of the booths. It was the ring tossing game, she guessed, because of all the makos throwing rings at bottles and the Betta fish swimming around in the background.

*It makes us a car!! Or like one of those four-wheeled bikes. Or an ice cream truck!!" He grinned widely, and tossed a few quarters to the man behind the stand. He was handed four rings and started tossing them - but he wasn't very good at it.
Ande grabbed eight rings and handed four to Mistress, "Here, just try to get it on the green bottles. If you get a red, you get a little toy, but if you get four greens you win a beta!" He seyed one up then used his nose to fancily toss one of the rings. It landed on a green bottle, and he hopped in excitement.
"You go!" He smiled.
"Showoff." Ayasha gave Ande a shove, giggling.

Maybe third wheel didn't have the same meaning in this group of friends as it did practically everywhere else in the universe. Missy shook any concern from her face that may have been there before and took the rings, throwing one and watching it land on one of the green bottles. Her face lit up as she realised she now had a greater chance of getting a Betta fish than before! With massive concentration, The Mistress threw her second ring, to watch it mimic the first and fall around the neck of a green bottle. Missy gasped, throwing her third ring with excitement. It barely, but surely, did the same. The little hybrid was too excited now. She grabbed her final ring and threw it to the other side of the booth as if it were nothing. However, this last one didn't exceed the little mako's expectations. It teetered around the edge of one of the bottles before falling on the floor. The Mistress practically froze, staring at the stupid bottles with disappointment. For a second there, she thought she could actually get that Betta Ande was so excited about.

Ande had been tossing rings also, and only landed reds after the green one. He watched the ring fall on the floor, and Mistress' face afterwards.
"Aw, that's alright! Wanna try again?" He gave her a soft smile after choosing one of the stuffed animals. A purple giraffe that Ayasha stuffed into the bag she'd brought.
Ayasha had landed four rings on one green bottle and gotten herself a Beta ticket that she also stuffed into the bag, to be turned know for a fish at the end of the day, so they wouldn't have to carry the fish around.
Ande held out the quarters as an offer.

Missy took the quarters with a nod, "Again." The mako on the other side of the booth was happy to take the coins and give her rings. After a few tosses, The Mistress got her prize. A ticket for the beta fish she had thrown those rings for. When the booth-runner gave her the ticket, Missy practically jumped in happiness, prancing her way to Ande and flashing Ayasha a smug smile on the way. Calming herself down, Missy shoved the ticket into Ande's chest. "Here. For the giraffe," she said with a happy smile on her face and excitement twitching at her ears.

Ande grinned, "Well, I was going to give it to you anyways, but," he pulled the purple giraffe out of Ayasha's bag and handed it to Mistress, a goofy grin on his little Mako face.
Ayasha turned and walked over to the next game, a balloon pop game, and started playing that.
Dragon rolled his eyes at Ande, then laid his head across Mistress' shoulders, "Awww soooo sweeeeet!" He proclaimed.

The Mistress was starting to like giraffes. The mako smiled, stuffing the giraffe in her bag- it didn't exactly fit, so it's head and neck were sticking out of her satchel the whole time. Somehow, it didn't fall. "Shut up," she said to Dragon in a serious-but-not kind of way before shrugging him off and going to the balloon popping game. Sadly, Missy's aim wasn't quite so good at this one, and she only got one out of the four darts to pop a balloon.
