~Brittany Rosewell~

"Welcome to the table," she told Skye, laughing a little about his comment.
Brittany was worried that she might have upset him until William smiled. She smiled back a little, thinking he was really cute but not quite her type. Cute in a little brother sort of way. Then, when he explained about coming from private school the pieces fell into place. It was really weird...hearing someone speak so openly about it, but she was sort of glad to know she wasn't alone. They were the same in a different way. How confusing! Well, she decided she was over thinking it. When Rose outright asked William about it, Brittany blushed and she didn't no why. He obviously wasn't that concerned or nervous about it. To be honest, she was rather impressed by his answer. He was very mature about it. In a way, she envied his openness about it. The looks from the other students, from her having said the "G" word, was already making her uncomfortable. She definitely wasn't about to say me too at the moment. But apparently Riley had no trouble.*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"Jace? That's a new one. I'll call you that," Riley said before getting distracted by the new kid.
Riley wondered if it was just him that was noticing the other blond's hand which was hopelessly spazzing as he approached the table. His first thought was,
Is he okay? But that thought went out the window when the boy spoke. Riley gave him a wide grin.
"Finally, someone who has a sense of humor!" Riley kept his smile, but averted his dark blue eyes as the boy sat down. He didn't want to be caught staring. Not because he was ashamed or anything, just because it tended to bug other people.
"We get to eat after the Headmistress tells us all the things about the school that we've already read in the brochure," Riley said, propping his chin on his hand with his elbow on the table.
He turned back to Jules, once again a little unnerved by his good looks. Just his luck! Here he was sitting at a table of attractive young men and he had been sent here to be turned straight. He couldn't wait to write home about this. His parents would ship him back home in a heartbeat.
"That's right, I'm a transfer student. My parents sent me here to straighten me out," he said with a slight smirk. He wasn't trying to make the guy uncomfortable, but Riley was never one to pass up the chance of a sly joke.
He was momentarily distracted by William's announcement. He couldn't help the way that his eyes lit up and his face twisted into an amused expression.
Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle! My gaydar isn't so out of tune after all. If he didn't think it would piss WIlliam off, Riley would have started clapping. And in his awe, Riley glanced around the table to gauge his new acquaintances' reactions. He was surprised when his gaze landed on Jules who was staring at William in a way that could definitely could pass as interested! Even though the two of them really had nothing to do with them, he couldn't help feeling a warm glow inside. That 'I'm-not-alone' feeling that he hadn't expected to find at this school!
"Well, congrats on owning it, William. I know a ton of kids who don't handle it as well. Myself included the first few months."
