April Gathering 6

Postby NightWolf950 » Wed Apr 07, 2021 12:50 pm

HazeClan
Pantherstar | Female | 66 moons | Leader | Tagged: One (The Fallen)
Frowning a bit, as she could see it pained One to speak of his former deputy Pantherstar remined silent a bit before speaking once more. "I know things are hard... especially when loosing some cat so close to you... However I'm sure your former deputy knows you'll pick the right cat to fill the position. Whoever you choose won't replace them, but in a way honor their memory. " She explained.

Starlingflight | Male | 68 moons | Deputy | Tagged: Jadegaze (StormClan)
"Ancestors don't ever fully make sense. They have to keep us on our toes somehow. Right?" Starlingflight meowed, chuckling slightly at the end. Although Jadegaze and his views on 'StarClan' are different, ancestors are ancestors. Either way they where there to watch over a cat and sometimes possibly even guide them. They where always a mystery, making life a but interesting from time to time.

Jayfur | Male | 76 moons | Adviser | Tagged: Marsfang (DuckClan)
With a small nod, Jayfur could understand. After all some cat's first gathering could always be a bit stressful if they didnt have someone they where close to they could stick with. With a small gesture of his tail, the older tom motioned for Marsfang to join him a bit away from the more chaotic center of the gathering.

Cloudynight | Male | 38 moons | Med. Cat | Tagged: Open
Open

Vaporwind | Male | 19 moons | Med. Cat | Tagged: Glowpool (BreezeClan)
As Vaporwind made his way through the sea of cats, the gray tabby tom almost fell back on his haunches when a young female stepped in his way. She seemed friendly as she purred a hello and introduced who she was and what clan she came from. Excited to meet someone close to his age the tom smiled and dipped his head a bit before speaking. "I'm Vaporwind of HazeClan. I just passed my final assessment and I am now a full fledged medicine cat." Vaporwind purred.

Lycan | Female | 21 moons | Warrior | Tagged: Richterscreech (ChessClan)
Lycan furrowed her brow a bit before speaking once more. "Well I got my first apprentice. She's here at the gathering with her brother some where. It's been fairly easy going for me thus far. Not sure what life has instore for me. Although maybe later on down the line I might want kits. I still haven't decided. I mean Mummy and Scythe make me not want kits." Lycan meowed, chuckling a bit. Sure her two younger siblings where a pawful but she wouldn't be able to handle life without the chaotic duo.

Cardinalpaw | Male | 8 moons | Apprentice | Tagged: Venuspaw (ShoreClan)
Upon making sure his sister was fine, he promised he wouldn't be to far off from her if she needed him. However he wanted to explore a bit and experience the gathering at full force. He was determined to find some cat to talk too. As the ginger tabby padded onward a she-cat roughly around the same age as him caught his eyes. She seemed to be looking for someone to talk to, and thus Cardinalpaw padded over and slightly bowed. "Hello. I'm Cardinalpaw of HazeClan." he meowed, his natural charm seeming to just ooze out.

Cocoapaw | Female | 8 moons | Apprentice | Tagged: Godivapaw (ChessClan)
The longhaired chocolate molly chuckled, sensing the nervousness in Godivapaw. She would be lying if she said she wasn't nervous herself. It was all so new to her, especially being a fairly new apprentice. "It's okay. I'm not sure how I'm even managing to stay relatively calm. I promise on the inside I'm freaking out." Cocoapaw chuckled.

---

Sahra Kingdom

Holly | Female | 32 moons | Adviser | Tagged: Noel (ScarabClan)
Seeing Noel and being able to breath his scent in again, Holly couldn't help but lean against him. Pressing her nose into his fur as she embraced the ginger Persian tom. He always had a way of making her heart flutter like he did the from day one. He was her other half, her reason she strived to fight and live another day. "I have missed you my love... It's so good to see you doing so well. As for the Kingdom we are slowly growing but fairing well. How is ScarabClan?"

---

IvyClan

Turnstonefeather | Female | 36 moons | Spy | Tagged: Looking for Eaglespeak (Court of Butterflies)
As the fluffy calico made her way through the crowed once more, she spotted the oh so familiar ears
and pelt of Eagelspeak. Smiling a bit to herself, she crouched down and began to sneak up on the tom. As she made her way close, Turnstonefeather waited until the last moment to spring up and gently pounce on the unsuspecting tom. She had grown more confident and easy going when she was around him. She didn't always have to be so fearful with him around. "Surprise." she purred, gently nuzzling his cheek before getting up to allow Eagelspeak to return to his paws.

the fallen

one|leader|tom|pantherstar (hazeclan)

"thank you." one replied, he did like badgermask as a choice but smokefur didn't like her for some reason and that bothered one a bit. "have you had any issues with any members of your clan? its an odd question but my medicine cat isn't very fond of some cats for some reason." he thought that maybe if he had someone else's input, someone who had dealt with a potential threat before, he could think more about choosing badgermask.

badgermask|filling in as deputy|molly|aldernight (cascadeclan)

badgermask's eyes lit up a bit at what the tom mentioned. "that is a good idea, i may have to think of it if things don't go the way i want." she paushed. "you're very bright aldernight, its rare to meet someone who thinks similar to yourself." the past two gatherings she had found her and aldernight's conversations to be rather enjoyable, of course she usually plotted with her allies within the clan, but they were not nearly as interesting or clever as herself.

smokefur|med cat|tom|wolfwhiskers (chessclan)

smokefur was clearly taking the advice to heart, he had barely any time with his old mentor and didn't know where to start with one if he ever got an apprentice. "thank you." he said dipping his head slightly. "i suppose i was just worried because my mentor was not around long enough for me to really notice how he taught me everything."

stormfang|warrior|tom|stripedhood, blinkblase (risingclan)

stormfang listened to the cat introduce both of them. "i am stormfang, from the fallen." the name of his clan was certainly different, but it didn't surprise him that the two were also from a clan, stormfang had once been apart of a traditional clan, but he would not trade his life in the fallen to return back to one.

pinewatch

wolfsnarl|king|tom|chasmstar (chessclan)

he listened as she responded nodding his head, kits were always a good thing for the clans. albeit he wasn't the biggest fan of the younglings, he still appreciated them being there. "pinewatch is doing well, since we've been getting more cats on patrols we've been able to find more of our former members." this was the only thing wolfsnarl had been happy about for the past moons, it had been a long time since everyone was separated from one another in pinewatch and seeing the survivors make their way home filled him with pride.

hawkstorm|hunter|tom|crackerheart (paragonclan)

hawkstorm settled down on his haunches to tell the quite jovial cat about his home. "pinewatch is in a large pine forest, very far from here. this is our second time coming to a gathering." he followed crackerheart's gaze towards the leader, they had not managed to point out the right leader but hawkstorm could spot wolfsnarl, he motioned his head towards his king. "that is wolfsnarl, he is the king of pinewatch."

yewclaw|soldier|tom|coypond (moonclan)

yewclaw glanced over when heard a familiar voice speak towards him. he had an amused look on his face as he recognized coypond from the last time he had come to the gathering. "am i? i suppose its because we've been coming across more cats, these past moons." he looked down at his paws trying not to let the she-cat see the happiness in his eyes, that wolfsnarl and his patrols had been finding pinewatch cats that were separated from them in the hollow. "how is everything going in your home?"

snowfall|soldier|molly|finn, flaxduck (duckclan)

snowfall could see the confusion in the younger's eyes when she stated her title. she was especially interested in duckclan, hawkstorm had mentioned that the groups of cats had different names usually ending in clan, and to say the least she was fascinated by it. she was puzzled by flaxduck's question about ducks. "i do suppose ducks are okay. i see them quite often in the warmer seasons by the crimson lake."

CHESSCLAN - APRIL 2021 - 008

Postby chaotic creativity » Wed Apr 07, 2021 2:32 pm

      CHESSCLAN !!
    ROOKSTAR - Tom - 54 Moons - Roi - Tagged: Minkstar (PineClan)
Rookstar could feel the gentle breeze whisking through his fur playfully, almost dragging him along as his paws pounded across the ground. The pull towards the Gathering was almost unbearable, and he turned his head to watch his clanmates as he ran faster and faster towards the familiar sight. He burst into the clearing with a large leap, soaring down the edge of a hill before skidding to a halt. His chest heaved as he fought to catch his breath, and his eyes were wide with a wild excitement. This was the kind of feeling only a truly wild and free cat could feel, one that a kittypet could never even begin to imagine existed. He threw his head around to look for his Clan, and he watched them stream over the hill in a more civilized manner. "Darling, please don't embarrass us," he heard Chasmstar hiss in a mocking manner, and he turned his nose up. He had no problem denouncing their mateship now, and he was not afraid of the consequences of their breaking their vow to ÉtoileClan. Pure and utter hatred filled his body, and he turned to spot a familiar pelt in the crowd. "Minkstar! So good to see you again," he called as he padded up to her, raising his tail in a friendly, yet respectful, greeting.

    CHASMSTAR - Molly - 45 Moons - Dame - Tagged: Wolfsnarl (Pinewatch)
"That's wonderful," she purred gently. The reunion of friends and family was a welcome thing, and she was glad to hear of such things happening in Pinewatch. There were no former members of ChessClan, only the descendants of Aspstar having distant family ties to the Clan of old. Patrols, however, always seemed to get lost in their vast territory, and it was a wonderful feeling when those cats eventually made their way back to camp. She could feel the chill of the night slowly working its way deeper into her fur, so she took a few moments to stand and stretch. She fluffed out her fur with a shake, smiling at the warmth that the movement provided. "Sitting still for too long always makes my joints hurt, and it's not a good thing when I've still got to make it back to my camp tonight," she chuckled. She sat back down and wrapped her tail around her, leaning her chin into her chest to give her chest fur a couple of quick licks.

    RICHTERSCREECH - Tom - 64 Moons - Tour - Tagged: Lycan (HazeClan)
Richterscreech laughed while he nodded, fully understanding how younger cats could make you feel. Bourrasquepaw and Guêpepaw were pawfuls at the moment, but all of Richterscreech's kits that he raised were at this age. He loved the gentle chaos that seemed to surround young cats, and he would never trade that feeling. "I'm sure you'll figure things out as time moves forward, Lycan. You're still rather young, but you've clearly made a name for yourself if you've happened to already been given an apprentice," he meowed. His eyes gleamed with pride at his daughter, and he couldn't help but puff out his chest. He would be telling Butterflyleap all about what Lycan had accomplished as soon as he made it back to their nest, and he knew Butterflyleap would be sick of his chattering soon enough. He had this habit, you see, of continuously talking about his kits after he first met them.

WOLFWHISKERS - Tom - 64 Moons - Fou - Tagged: Smokefur (The Fallen)
Wolfwhiskers's face fell as Smokefur mentioned how short his time with his mentor had been. "That's rather unfortunate. I feel for those apprentices who were taken on too late in a medicine cat's life and left alone with the duties all too soon. It's hard, but I believe that's what these Gatherings are for. Asking questions is the best way to learn new things, even if you have your full name," he chuckled, knowing the many times he had asked for advice in this clearing. Wolfwhiskers had asked for help during the Quickcough outbreak, and he'd asked for the best advice in helping train a broken limb after it had healed. If a medicine cat hadn't suggested letting a cat swim, then he doubted some of his patients would be walking as they did today.

    GODIVAPAW - Tom - 11 Moons - Apprenti - Tagged: Cocoapaw (HazeClan)
Godivapaw blinked gratefully as Cocoapaw admitted her nervousness as well. "I didn't expect to act like this, especially since there's less than a moon until I take my final assessment. I should be acting much more like a warrior by now," he sighed, rolling his eyes and sitting down heavily. He huffed, a puff of air exploding audibly from his nostrils. He let out a gentle sigh as he began to calm, and he smiled at Cocoapaw. "It's nice to meet you, Cocoapaw. Mother said that Caesar would have other kits out there, but I never expected to run into one," he laughed softly. "My own littermates, Ghirardellipaw and Lindtpaw, constantly said that there weren't any half-siblings out there, but I kind of held onto hope. I thought it'd be rather interesting to find one," he meowed, eyes lifting to the sky as he watched the stars twinkle and sparkle.

    TOURNESOLPAW - Tom - 7 Moons - Apprenti - Tagged: Geyserbloom (Highgarden) & Turtle's Shell (Golden Kingdom)
Tournesolpaw looked at the two cats who he quickly realized to be kits of Renegade with wide, fearful eyes. Geyserbloom continuously mentioned that he was lost and needed to find his parents, so he quickly stood up and puffed his chest out. "My parents aren't here, and I'm not lost! I'm just... kind of... looking for other children of Renegade," he mumbled, his words falling quieter as he felt the fear creeping back up his throat. He swallowed before raising his eyes back to Geyserbloom and Turtle's Shell. The mollies were both extremely pretty, and they has the same speckles on their faces, tails, and limbs that he had. He offered a sheepish smile as his confidence slowly returned. Being so young and left alone at the Gathering was a daunting task, and Tournesolpaw knew he wasn't doing the best. He did know he was doing better than others would have, but it felt rather strange to be talking to cats so much older than him.

KATTER AV DEN FROSNE ØYA !!
    MOOSESTAR - Molly - 64 Moons - Dronning - Tagged: Ploverstripe (GustClan)
Moosestar looked up at the tom who began talking to her, and she sniffled. She raised a paw to wipe away the tears, and she pulled herself up into a sitting position. “I’m so sorry, you shouldn’t be seeing me like this,” she murmured, her voice filled with the sorrow of a freshly broken heart. She could see Rollingfog nearly every where she looked, and she gently shied away from the tom who only seemed to want to help. He was awkward, almost beyond belief, but she just offered a weak smile. She could feel her legs trembling, and she quickly wondered how she had ever made it to the Gathering.

SKUASOAR - Molly - 69 Moons - Hertuginne - Tagged: Berry Scorched by Flames (Court of the Butterflies)
Skuasoar recoiled in shock at the face Berry Scorched by Flames made when she asked if they had any kits. She cleared her throat awkwardly as they mentioned they didn't like them, and she quickly shuffled her paws in the dust. "That's one thing about having a council. I was able to take the time to raise my own kits without having to search for a temporary replacement," she meowed simply. She wondered how a cat could genuinely dislike such tiny bundles of joy, and her face warmed as she remembered the feeling of having Aventurineeyes, Tanzanitegaze, and Carneliansight at her belly, requiring her for every aspect of life. "Nevertheless, how are things going for your Clan? This past leafbare was particularly rough, though I don't know for how far," she meowed, wrapping her tail around her paws.

    MAPLESONG - Molly - 69 Moons - Helbreder - Tagged: Solsticestand (Highgarden)
Maplesong nodded with a smile as Solsticestand mentioned that her mentor was Merlinsong. "I've definitely heard of him. To be rather honest with you, most medicine cats here have probably heard of him. Highgarden is one of those Clans that is well-known," she chuckled. As Solsticestand mentioned a run in with a coyote, she quickly offered her condolences. "A new apprentice is always a pawful. My name is Maplesong," she chuckled, quickly realizing that her name and Merlinsong's were rather close. Quickly, her eyes darted to where a rather familiar tom was standing at the edge of the Gathering. Brownie, the surrogate for her and Glacierbloom's litter, had attended. She was forever grateful to the tom, and she noticed that Grizzlypaw constantly glanced at the tom while speaking to another tom who looked suspiciously like Brownie. Maplesong shook her head as she scattered the reminiscent thoughts of her tiny family, and she smiled. "I also have a sister in another large Clan. Sweethen of ChessClan is my older sister, but I highly doubt you know her. I haven't seen her at a Gathering in moons," she chuckled with a smile.

    TOMBECHO - Non-binary - 57 Moons - Helbreder - Tagged: Petrelhop (WheatClan) & Cream of Wheat (CocoaClan)
Tombecho listened to Petrelhop's description of her Clan, nodding enthusiastically. "I could never imagine living in such a green territory. I live in a land of snow and ice, where the ground is only visible for maybe a couple moons out of the year," they meowed, turning towards Cream of Wheat expectantly. They really enjoyed the descriptions of such green and lively territories, like the clearing they currently were standing in. They began to imagine what it would be like to live in a place where it rarely snowed, but they shook their head. They could never leave Frosne behind, they had vowed to stay forever.

    GRIZZLYPAW - Tom - 12 Moons - Lærling - Tagged: Neptunepaw (ShoreClan)
Grizzlypaw's eyes widened as the tom confirmed his suspicions. Grizzlypaw let out a vibrant purr as he nodded enthusiastically, his tail twitching with delight as his worries over Sablefrost were quickly forgotten. "Oh, I'm so glad to meet you! Brownie is my father, but only biologically. He's actually just the tom my mother used as a surrogate so that she and my other mom could have kits together. I'm so glad to find out there's more half-siblings out there. My three littermates would love you," he chuckled excitedly, nodding enthusiastically. Grizzlypaw could scarcely believe he actually had half-siblings out there, even if he had spotted the tom he knew to be Brownie hanging around the edge of the Gathering. Maplesong and Glacierboom were wonderful mothers, but Grizzlypaw couldn't smother his eagerness to know more about his biological father and said tom's other kits.

      THE ORDER OF THE HYENA
    HYENA'S BREATH - Molly - 30 Moons - Matriarch - Tagged: Fluffy (Nox Invictus)
Hyena's Breath bit back a retort. She almost wanted to mock Fluffy, the feeling that she was mocking her nearly overwhelming. Her Clan, despite it currently only being herself, was the strongest there would ever be. She unsheathed her claws and dug them into the dirt underneath her paws, churning it until she had dirtied the white fur on her toes. She cleared her throat as she stared down her nose at Fluffy. "Is your Clan thriving?" she asked simply, her voice gruff and lower than it had been previously. She was building a barrier around herself, quickly receding into her tough exterior. They didn't deserve to see her at her weakest, only at her strongest. She scoffed aloud, knowing that she never would have a weakest. She was powerful, and would only ever be so. She may have come from the lowest order, but they were taking over the Savanna. The Order of the Hyena was rising in power, and she should present herself as so.

Re: CascadeClan — Fifth Gathering — April [8]

Postby /nyx. » Wed Apr 07, 2021 3:34 pm

CASCADECLAN has arrived!
Attending: Silverstar, Shoreabranch, Aldernight, Langsat, Halepen, Basmatiswerve, Rhizomecinder, Orchidpaw, Aulandrapaw

Silverstar | Eye of the Cascade | female | 41 moons | Tags: Halfmoon, Quailjaw [MoonClan; LooneyLani]; Shoreabranch [CascadeClan; bmkmb]
When Shoreabranch moved out of the way, something flashed. Not literally (though, she supposed, a firefly had flown past), but figuratively. The leader felt her heart beat faster. She'd never been one for public speaking. Just as Aldernight enjoyed reminding her so, Silverstar's head tended to stay in the clouds, and if for whatever reason the clouds were blocked, she still thought to herself, only then, she'd do it in the mist. The molly's mind was rarely clear, rarely sharp. Fantastical, more like. She was a daydreamer—one who'd miraculously brought her dream to life, guided by luck and the Storm's desperation—nothing more. Definitely not leader material; that made itself clear enough when she compared herself to most high-ranking felines stalking about. Another thing about Silverstar—she could get lost in her own maze of ideas just about anywhere. Including, it seemed, in the middle of a Gathering—not to mention in the middle of an important meeting at said Gathering.

Trust. Silverstar needed to prove her trust. How? This was bizarre and remarkable and outright terrifying... where was her Tempest when she needed him? "I... well... the Cascade takes trust very seriously," she offered. The leader ignored Shoreabranch's expression for a moment (whatever it was, it likely wasn't one of approval) in favor of continuing, "And if it's worth anything, we've not yet had any traitors from our clan." Then again, their clan was still rather small. "I've never paid much attention to the courting styles of my warriors; however, I trust their judgment." Was that the wrong thing to say... again? She flushed with embarrassment. "I'm sorry; I've never done this before. The Cascade is stronger than I make it look, and we're also... incredibly lucky. Growing so fast that I'm almost having trouble keeping track of it." Sadly, she wasn't even bluffing. Silverstar herself was likely the clan's weakest link; an apprentice might be able to take her down. "If you want to send an ambassador over to test the truth in my words, please feel free. No harm will come to them under the protection of the Storm."

Shoreabranch | Skullhunter | female | 43 moons | Tags: Halfmoon, Quailjaw [MoonClan; LooneyLani]; Silverstar [CascadeClan; bmkmb]
Despite her usage of we, this was all on the leaders. At least, it was supposed to be. The dappled feline very nearly butted into the conversation when Silverstar immediately messed up (seriously, how could she be so incompetent?); however, she reined in her urges to give the molly a fair chance. After all, some didn't learn unless absolutely necessary. When Silverstar faltered the second time, Shoreabranch couldn't help but make a face. Honestly. No wonder the resident Tempest always stormed up to Shoreabranch to complain. Rather than ruining her mind by listening to her leader's rambles, the dappled molly shifted her gaze to Quailjaw. He'd step in if things got too out of paw, or so Shoreabranch hoped. Though, the skullhunter would likely be able to handle it herself if need be,

Aldernight | Storm's Tempest | male | 44 moons | Tags: Badgermask [the fallen; salvation.]
Rare, indeed, the tomcat thought wryly to himself. Amongst clan cats, perhaps; however, it was one of the more common brands of thinking amongst rogues. Clear and cunning, simple yet sharp and effective. "You are bright yourself, Aldernight returned the compliment. "Not many are skilled enough to discreetly discuss their motives in such a crowd." Really, he wouldn't mind courting the molly if it came down to that. The kits would likely spout their darker fur, all the better to hide in. He easily kept those nonchalant thoughts to himself; in the midst of turmoil, attachments would only harm both their efforts. An alliance between their clans, though... that was a more likely possibility. One that one of them would likely propose... eventually.

Langsat | Aura of Ripples | female | 57 moons | Tags: Blizzardchirp [PuddleClan; Bugbelly]
Dark eyes watched discreetly as the stranger approached, and while Langsat wasn't one for idle talking, she flicked her ear amicably at the newcomer. "Greetings," the old healer returned—it was the least she could do; no one in her clan was quite as respectful to her as this white-furred molly. "Langsat of the Cascade. And who might you be?"

Halepen | Aura of Ripples | male | 18 moons | Tags: Autumnflower [QuickClan; eagle,]
It was rather amusing that the other healer simply assumed that he'd never dealt with tradition before. Too bad for her. He'd been born and raised for one reason: to fulfil a prophecy. And Storm, was he sick of prophecies by now. Though, he was an adult, and she hadn't snapped at him... so whatever aura he was emitting, he tried his best to reign to negative emotions in and to keep his composure clean. "No," Halepen replied, "I've never been part of a different clan. The Cascade... I wasn't born there, per se, but I was born for them. Raised by the stars, raised to seek, to heal... I spent the first few moons of my life living with cats who were technically dead." He frowned a bit, never having told even his leader about his life story before he came for her. Before fate forced him onto her, more like. "You'd think I'd be alright with tradition if I've known it all my life. But living with the Storm... they're not like what my clan thinks they're like. My mentor—well, former mentor now, I suppose—she's never seen them. She's from a different clan—not the Cascade—and she was the first healer they had, so she brought her old clan's traditions with her and Silverstar never questioned it but..." A growl escaped him. "They're wrong. They've never seen, and the traditions... they don't understand them. They're not my traditions, and I'm literally bound to the Cascade. I would know. But they think... ever since Langsat arrived, I'm... pushed aside. Because she's older, but that doesn't make her wiser. So what if I act like a brat sometimes?" Halepen winced at those words. "Sorry 'bout that, by the way—but Langsat's just a jerk. Only around me. Maybe I act like an apprentice because that way, they're not super wary of me." He shut his maw, deciding that that was enough. It wasn't like him to monologue. It felt... nice, getting all that off his chest—actually, no, it didn't. It made him feel like a fool and it didn't prove anything. Great. Just great.

Basmatiswerve | Gladehunter | male | 44 moons | Tags: Sanderlingfrost [TidalClan; DaniCalifornia]
"That sounds... relaxing," Basmatiswerve admitted. He curled his tail, then decided to share, "The closest thing to a beach in my clan is probably the cove. It's rocky, though not perilously so, and there are waves. Occasionally, exotic creatures stop by. Despite being much larger than any cat and seemingly predators, they never harm us."

    Rhizomecinder | Cyclone Champion | male | 57 moons | Tags: Cloudynight [HazeClan; NightWolf950]
With something of a sigh combined with a huff of disappointment and frustration, Rhizomecinder strode over towards the healers' area. Nevermind that he wasn't a medicine cat himself; his sister knew how and he'd assisted more than once. Besides, the common ranks were being boring. So what if he was older than most? He wasn't fragile in the slightest, yet not even the birds had dared to chirp near him. Dismissing those thoughts, the Cyclone Champion approached one of the healers, dipping his head into a respectful nod. "Greetings," he meowed politely. "Rhizomecinder of CascadeClan. And who might you be?"

Orchidpaw | Torrent | female | 13 moons | Tags: Catopsispaw [ParagonClan; Chamrosh]
Oh, she adored his apprentice. Whether in a platonic or romantic sense was open to interpretation because frankly, Orchidpaw didn't know yet. She'd never heard "hola" before, but it was a cool greeting, so the molly smiled nonetheless. "ParagonClan," Orchidpaw repeated under her breath, testing out the strange word that she'd never heard before. Then, her ears perked up. "You're the leader's apprentice? Oh, that's so amazing!" the torrent gushed. She chuckled. "I'm from CascadeClan! My mentor's the Champion Gladehunter—that means he's one of the three best specialized hunters in the clan! He's incredible!"

Aulandrapaw | Torrent | female | 10 moons | Tags: Snowballpaw [SnowClan; beebun]
...oh. That wasn't good. Definitely wasn't good because now Aulandrapaw felt this absurd need to cheer up her best friend. "Well," she said, and she wasn't sure whether it would work or maje things worse but it was worth a try. "All the apprentices in my clan are trying this thing—we're gonna pick a special day to bring presents to our mentors and surprise them all because they think we don't appreciate them but we really do. Um..." And she knew that Snowballpaw might be mentorless at this moment; maybe not, but not with her real mentor... "Maybe you could try organizing something like that in your clan? It might make you popular and increase everyone's morale. Or you could do it for siblings, or parents, or... or give the high ranks a day off? They're probably really stressed out, considering—"

WHEATCLAN
    attending ─ feralstar, petrelhop, lynxcry

    feralstar.
    (1) leader , female [she/her] , 28mtags : @ textreader [risingclan] & coalstar [lightclan]
Feralstar gave a twitch of her ear; that was quite a few gatherings. The silver molly paused for a brief heart, trying to think of her next question. "How long has Lightclan been around for?" she mused at the leader, "I assume it been around for a while?"

    petrelhop.
    (2) medicine cat , female [she/her] , 43mtags : @ cream of wheat [cocoaclan] & tombecho [frosne Øya]
Petrelhop couldn't imagine what it was like to live in such a cold place, rarely seeing the ground. Her blue eyes widened with curiosity, "Is it hard living in such a cold place?" Life in such a harsh cold must have some difficulties; the molly hoped that she wasn't prying too much.

    lynxcry.
    (3) warrior , nonbinary [they/them] , 60mtags : @ fioled [gustclan]
Lynxcry flicked their tail, repeating the young cat's name in their mind for a moment. "Fioled is a nice name," they complimented, hoping that they had pronounced it correct. The older warrior hesitated for a heartbeat, unsure if they wanted to delve into their memories. Eventually, they let out a small sigh, "memories of being young and carefree again, being an apprentice was much easier than being a warrior is."
"It also brings me memories of my parents; specifically my mother," they mewed, carefully pushing away the emotion that threatened to breakthrough. "I met my mother for the first time at my last gathering."

PUDDLECLAN
    attending ─ blizzardchirp, dipperpaw

    blizzardchirp.
    warrior , female [she/her] , 15m ─ tags : @ langsat [cascadeclan]
"Blizzardchirp of Puddleclan," the young warrior responded. Blizzardchirp sat back on her haunches, gently curling her silky white tail over her broad paws. "Pleasure to meet you; I hope that your gathering has gone well so far?" the white molly gave a curious tilt of her head.

    dipperpaw.
    apprentice , demigirl [she/they] , 14m ─ tags : @ cardinalpaw [pineclan]
the apprentice tipped their head, raising a paw up to their chin. they could barely recall the journey from the island to the clearing, excitement clouding their memories. "pretty far! it took a longgg time to get here" they finally chirped, they didn't remember the journey exactly but they did remember how long it had taken. the apprentice giggled, "i'd say its pretty wet."
The apprentice perked up, "but its really nice! i haven't been in puddleclan for long but i've really enjoyed it so far." the colorpoint tilted their head, their optics widening, "what's pineclan like?"

RisingClan April 005

Postby Vaporeon03 » Wed Apr 07, 2021 10:53 pm

Textreader - Cis Female - 26M - Leader - Feralstar [WheatClan]/Coalstar [LightClan]
The other two Leaders introduced themselves. Textreader found herself feeling increasingly uncomfortable, surrounded by other cats. Then again, not much would be done for RisingClan's reputation if she just told the other two to go away. Endure.

Textreader kept quiet as the other two leaders spoke, praying they didn't talk to her.

Pancurse - Genderfluid AFAB - 37M - Medicine Cat - Open
Pancurse decided that if they didn't want to explode there and then from exasperation, she should disengage from conversation. And disengage he did. Muttering a few human cuss words under her breath that most likely isn't comprehendible to normal clan cats, she turned and stalked away, putting a few cats between herself and Clovermouse, and began to sulk.

Stripedhood & Blinkblaze - Cis Male & Cis Male - 30M & 49M - Warrior & Warrior - Stormfang [The Fallen]
Stripedhood narrowed his eyes at where he detected the other cat was but kept quiet as Blinkblaze gently tapped him on the shoulder, a signal for him to calm down. Only Blinkblaze had been able to do this so far. At the same time, Blinkblaze spoke to Stormfang. "Unconventional clan names are cool! I used to be from somewhere called the Kindred of the Lotus..." He paused, regretting bringing up this topic. He didn't want to remember it.

VagaryClan and Kyanite Keep | April 7 | 5

Postby [kat] » Thu Apr 08, 2021 6:55 am

ᴠᴀɢᴀʀʏᴄʟᴀɴ

☆ Rookspots
tom ; deputy ; tags: pizzastar and co.
Rookspots purred warmly. "A medicine cat and two little warriors! You must be so happy." he meowed, offering Moonpie a friendly nudge on the shoulder. "My girls are on their way to becoming warriors as well. Thankfully Riverstar chose good mentors for them." He trailed off briefly, reminiscing about their apprenticeship ceremony and how excited he'd been. With a short laugh he shook his head. "It's crazy how fast they grow up, huh? And as for us old codgers," he shot Moonpie a bemused glance, "We haven't retired yet. I've still got at least a few moons left in me. At the moment Riverstar and I are still discussing who will replace me."

☼ Fadedsun
tom ; medicine cat ; tags: otterfur
Fadedsun scoffed affectionately. "Yes, with your looks I'm sure our kits will be the greatest at finding mates," he teased. "Nah, I know what you mean. It really is crazy how fast the time goes. Soon these little ones will be stealing the show from us." He touched his nose to Jasminepaw's ear. "I'm sure we'll all be together soon. I'll talk to Riverstar about letting the boys attend next time." He blinked up at his mate, his gaze wistful. "Who could have guessed that something so amazing could come out of simply attending a Gathering?" The question was almost a whisper, with Fadedsun's paw now resting on Otterfur's.

♔ Fogpaw
molly ; apprentice ; tags: pizzastar and co.
When Fogpaw noticed that Pepperpaw was lagging behind, she slowed her pace, waiting for the other apprentice to catch up. When they reached the tree Stormpaw was already yelling again, so she turned to Pepperpaw instead. "Don't worry about being slow. There are lots of other skills I bet you're really good at." She mewed softly, nervous about talking to a potential new friend.

✤ Stormpaw
molly ; apprentice ; tags: pizzastar and co.
Stormpaw crowed with laughter at Cinnamonpaw's teasing, her tail waving wildly, not understanding that it might not have fully been just a joke. "That was super fun! You guys are fast. What's it like in your Clan?" The words flew out of her mouth faster than she could process them.

❀ Hopfrog
molly ; warrior ; tags: goldenheart
At first, Hopfrog couldn't stop herself from tensing with nerves when Goldenheart pressed himself against her, but the touch was so reassuring that she found herself melting gratefully into his side. "I've missed you too," she replied, inwardly scolding herself for the very clear note of longing her voice. She cleared her throat. "I- I've been good. Great, actually. I think I might be getting an apprentice soon! There have been so many new kits and a lot of my siblings have become mentors so far." She shuffled her paws, this time with excitement rather than apprehension.

⚜ Briarthorn
molly ; warrior ; tags: berryblossom, springblossom, peachblossom
Briarthorn shot a glance at Berryblossom, sensing her uneasiness, but decided not to comment. It wasn't her business, even if it was strange to her that these cats weren't allowed to mate outside of their Clan. She supposed she was just too used to it within her own Clan.
"That sounds... well, traumatizing," she mused instead, referencing Loststar's mentioned struggle. "How are you all faring? If you ever need anything, I'm sure Riverstar would be more than happy to lend some paws."

☾ Leafgale
tom ; warrior ; tags: thunder
Leafgale cocked his head slightly as he listened to Thunder's explanation. "Victorious night. How interesting! VagaryClan was named after a vagary, which I believe is defined as an unexpected change or journey." He smiled for a moment, remembering how his Clanmate and friend Coalstream had come up with the name. His ears pricked at Thunder's new question. "Oh, well in our Clan, our names start out as a word followed by -kit. Usually it will be something meaningful to the mother, or perhaps a deceased Clanmate's name. I was called Leafkit because my mother said my pelt reminded her of fallen leaves in the cold seasons. And then when you're apprenticed, -kit is replaced with -paw. When you're a warrior, your leader will give you a suffix based on your skills, personality, or appearance. Riverstar said he named me Leafgale because I'm adaptable and calm like the breeze." He couldn't help but proudly puff out his chest a bit.

ᴋʏᴀɴɪᴛᴇ ᴋᴇᴇᴘ

♛ Night of the Stars
molly ; queen ; tags: blooming edelweiss
Night of the Stars trotted into the Gathering with her chin and tail high. While she really may not be all that confident, at least she could look like she was and fool the others into believing it. She remembered how at her last Gathering she had met the regal but kind Crown of Embers, and wondered if she might see him again, or someone entirely new.

♘ Stallion's Canter
tom ; knight ; tags: veerypath
Stallion's ears perked, and he found that he was genuinely interested in the other tom's story- a rarity. "Your family sounds lovely," he said, surprised with his own honesty. "Does your son look like you?" When the question about his past was posed, he stiffened for a moment. "Er- no. I actually just joined Kyanite Keep recently. They needed some help, and I guess I felt bad for them." The grin that flashed across his muzzle gave away that it wasn't the whole truth. "I used to live near a farm, actually. The Twolegs there are the ones that named me Stallion. They had horses and sometimes I would follow them on their rides, if I happened to see them while I was out hunting. And honestly, I haven't worried about a tunnel collapse yet. The caverns are made more of rock and crystal than of dirt. They're actually quite beautiful."

April Gathering 7

Postby NightWolf950 » Thu Apr 08, 2021 10:20 am

HazeClan
Pantherstar | Female | 66 moons | Leader | Tagged: One (The Fallen)
Pantherstar thought for a moment, carefully planning her next words before speaking. "You could always ask them why. There could be a chance that they can sense something. Like how sometimes you can tell if a cat is a good cat or not. For example I got the vibe from you that you would be friendly enough to talk to. Some cats you just don't even dare." Pantherstar explained.

Richterscreech had a point, she was still young and had plenty of time to fully decide if she truly wanted kits or not. For now though she thought about possible helping out in the nursery from time to time. Maybe being around kits more would also help. Lycan was thrilled on how well the conversation seemed to be going. She thought back to when she was younger when she thought how weird it might be if she ever did meet her father. However Richterscreech was just like she thought. Pleasant and friendly.

Looking up at the stars as well, Cocoapaw smiled softly. "You never knows what is real until you have experienced it first paw... I'm sure they might not believe you when you go back, but maybe next time we can all meet. Maybe then you can meet our brother Cardinalpaw." Cocoapaw purred.

Re: CascadeClan — Fifth Gathering — April [9]

Postby /nyx. » Thu Apr 08, 2021 10:41 am

The old healer made a lashing motion with her tail. "I've attended worse," she allowed, mentally aproving of how this other feline hadn't yet cowered from her cold gaze. Perhaps it was her name. "You," Langsat stated, "are not a healer. What brings you here?" To this section of the Gathering rather than remaining with the other warriors, that's what she meant.

They're probably really stressed out, considering—"

puddle & wheat gathering ─ 07 ─ 4.7.21

Postby tigerclaw » Thu Apr 08, 2021 11:09 am

WHEATCLAN
    attending ─ feralstar, petrelhop, lynxcry

After asking her question, Feralstar glanced out of the corner of her eye towards Textreader. The leader thought idly about asking the same of her but ultimately decided against it. Surely the other leader would join in if she wanted to.

Blizzardchirp's ears perked upon hearing the older cat's question. The white she-cat briefly glanced away; while she tried to act as she had only drifted over here by chance, Blizzardchirp knew she had purposely wandered over to the gathered healers. She glanced back, giving a tiny twitch of her whiskers, "Well, I was looking for a medicine cat to talk to tonight." The warrior paused for a heartbeat, "I've been having doubts on whether or not being a warrior is the right path for me."

    dipperpaw.
    apprentice , demigirl [she/they] , 14m ─ tags : @ cardinalpaw [pineclan]
the apprentice tipped their head, raising a paw up to their chin. they could barely recall the journey from the island to the clearing, excitement clouding their memories.
