Lindal followed Sam, not quite understanding but he continued to trust Sam anyway.

Sam sat down and waited for Lindal to sit in front of him, he had a feather and a hair tie in his hand after pulling it out of a drawer.

Lindal gave him a curious but excited look as he plopped down in front of him. He was wiggling slightly.

Sam began braiding the front section of Lindal's hair, he finished it off and tucked the feather in the end.

"What was that?" He asked, pointing at the feather. His face was lit up woth awe and excitement. "Does it look good?" He asked quickly

"It's a feather." Sam explained. "It really suits you. See for yourself." He said motioning towards the nearest mirror.

Lindal half-skipped over to the mirror and stared at his face. His mouth hung open as he studied what Sam had done. He whipped around and ran towards Sam, latching his arms around him amd pressing his face into his stomach.

"Do you like it?" Sam asked, gently rubbing Lindal's back and smiling down at the small child. He wasn't the best at braiding but he had done his best and was rather proud of his work.

Lindal lifted hisvjead away from him and grinned up at Sam. "I love it." He smiled, eyes sparkling with joy as he held his arms as far around Sam as he could.

Sam smiled wider and wrapped his arms around Lindal. "I'm glad." He said softly.
