harper pushed through the crowd, almost annoyed. he wasn't usually irritated by the crowd, but it made brooklyn some what nervous, therefore he disliked the crowd. they finally got through, and he was relieved. he smiled at brooklyn. "finally." he sighed, happily. "ready to go to my place?"

brook smiled and nodded in agreement. yeah. let's go! i'm excited, this'll be fun!" her mood had easily changed from anxious to joyful now that she was with harper. she was thankful somebody had that effect on her, especially harper. they'd barely known each other a couple of hours, but it felt as if they were long lost friends, reunited at last.

harper grinned largely, and started walking to his apartment. it was about a five-minute walk, and they have a small talk on the way. as they arrived, he opened the door to a modern lobby, with a few chairs. he hoped it was enough to impress brook. he wasn't the wealthiest kid on the block. he smiled at her as they walked in, and he hurried to the elevator. he pressed the fifth floor, and quickly unlocked the door to his apartment. it had two bedrooms, a small kitchen, and a cozy living room. "not the fanciest, but it's cozy." he shrugged, walking inside.

as they entered the apartment building, she looked around taking im her surroundings. it did look rather appealing, but it wasn't enough to look like one of those apartment buildings made for rich people. she followed harper into the elevator, then into his apartment. "well i think it's a rather nice apartment. certainly better than what i've got."

harper felt a wave of relief that she wasn't disappointed. "i'm sure your apartment is just as nice, or even better." he told her. "i'm going to go make myself some coffee 'cause i'm dying. you want some?"

she shook her head. "i'm not actually too keen on coffee. i'd like a cup of tea if you have any though. it's strange that i don't like coffee considering i work in a coffee shop." she laughed a bit at herself.

harper nodded. "no worries. feel free to get comfortable anywhere." he chirped. he quickly made himself some coffee with the machine. he wondered what tea she liked, and decided to try green tea. he made a nice cup for her, with flower prints on it. his mothers. he smiled, and carried the two cups into the living room. he put his coffee on the table in front of the tv, and handed her the tea. "green tea, hope you like it."

brook sat on the sofa in the living room, watching as harper came in. "sorry! i should have offered to help you." brook took the cup from him, brining the cup to her lips. she took a couple of sips before placing it on the table. "it's perfect, thank you harper." she thanked, smiling brightly at him.

harper lit up when she said she liked it. "no problem, i'm glad you like it." he told her happily. harper felt fuzzy around her, but it wasn't a bad feeling. he enjoyed it. "any movie you really want to watch?"

she shook her head. "i'm not picky, as long as it's no horror. i tend to get paranoid rather easily." she confessed, laughing a bit at how pathetic she was being.
