"The hospital. I'm not a good vampire." He said. He spoke the last part quietly. He was right. He wasn't good so why was he helping this girl. Why did he feel that he should help her? It was weird to him and for some reason it felt right to him

She quickly shook her head. "No hospital, go back towards the river side, my house is there. I have medical supplies there." She said, slowly sitting up with her head resting against arm rest of the seat.

He nodded and swung the truck around, going off the road for a minute. The large diesel hit the ditch and the engine snarled as it came out of the ditch and back on to the road. He kept the music low in respect for her.

She watched as the roads and houses passed by before she spoke. "Turn into this drive, it goes for a mile back to get the my cabin." She said, rubbing her temple to help get the headache away.

He nodded and turned. He looked at the road and looked around. They were around here but they wouldn't come after her with him here. He was well known out here and it was for a reason

She then looked up as her house came into view. Waiting for the truck to stop, she opened the door and slid down to the ground before slowly making her way into the large two-story cabin. She went to the small bathroom.next to the kitchen and grabbed her medic supply kit. "This is gonna suck." She whispered, quickly setting to clean the wound on her hand, putting gauze and wrapping standard wrap around it. She then went back.out towards the truck. "Sorry, please come in and make yourself at home." She replied with a smile. She then went back.in, holding the door open.

The male shut the truck and got out. He looked around after taking off his sun glasses and walked to the cabin. He hear the soft movement of others far off but he ignored it

"What type.of blood do you prefer? I have blood bags in the fridge." She then looked to him. "Yes it may be a bit strange but I do help the good vampires around here that don't kill people." She then made her a cup of Orange juice before leaning against the island in the middle of the kitchen.

He looked at her in surprise at her question. He never expected a human to ask him that. "I prefer fresh blood." He replied. He hated blood bags. It just didn't taste right to him.

She looked at him, her hair falling into place on her neck to slightly hide it. "Oh." She said, blue eyes bright with alertness. She then sipped her drink, licking her lips. "You could have mine." She whispered, her eyes lifting to his red ones.
