Rules:
1) Literacy is a must. I'm by no means expecting perfection, but I do expect my rp partners to be able to write in complete sentences and have a decent grasp on spelling and grammar.

2) Post length is not much of an issue, though I do expect decent replies that I can respond to. I'd much rather a few detailed lines over paragraphs of filler and irrelevancy. Even one liners do not bother me as long as I have something to work with.

3) No perfect or pathetic characters. NO your character cannot dodge every attack and know everything, and NO your characters cannot suck in every aspect. I want realistic characters with flaws, good and bad qualities, personalities, and something unique about them. Also, if you're playing a character from a TV show/movie/book/anime/manga, then you MUST keep them in character!

Genres:
Fullmetal Alchemist (manga/Brotherhood)
- Will not focus on Ed and Al. Sorry, but I just don't like using them much in rps.
- OCs may be allowed in the rp, but they will not be the main focus and canon characters must be used.
- Secondary characters will also be used when needed, so be prepared to play some as I will not be stuck with all of them.
- Be prepared to play bad guys, because I will not be stuck with all of them.
- Possible spoilers in white and in tiny text, so copy/paste to document to read.
- Characters in bold are who I prefer to play, though don't necessarily have to. If neither in the pairing are bolded, then I'm happy to play either.
- Any of these pairings are acceptable and more than one can be used:

Medieval Fantasy
- Light on the fantasy aspect. Magic may be used, but nothing super powerful (unless it's a bad guy). Also, no frilly creatures everywhere like unicorns, fairies, sprites, etc. They can exist, but must be rare things.
- No insta-heal powers. Sorry, but this just irritates me.
- No characters with animal parts (unless they are a were-creature and in animal form).
- Vampires, lycans, knights, royalty, rogues, thieves, pirates, warriors, tribes, etc. may all be used.

Post-apocalyptic
- Non-fantasy in the way that no one has use of magic. Creatures will exist, but because of toxic radiation etc.
- Based in the near-future, so no killer robots and futuristic things.
- Can be every man for themselves, colonies of refugees, gangs, etc. Most scenarios work.

Black Lagoon (anime)
- You don't have to have seen this to rp it. It is bascially just modern-day pirates in the South Pacific. If you would like a plot synopsis, just ask.

Avatar: The Last Airbender
- Will be pre-show, but after the Avatar has disappeared and the Fire Nation has taken over.
- No airbenders as they are extinct.
- No non-avatar world benders. So only Earth, Fire, and Water.
- No characters under 16

Tortall
- Can be any of the books.
- Can use canon characters or OCs or both.

Wolves
- Realistic only please. No odd colors, wings, jewelry, powers, etc.
- We will both play at least three main character wolves.
- Wolf hybrids are acceptable, though only one of your main characters may be one of these.
- All of your wolves may not be one gender. You must have at least one male and at least one female.

Street Dogs
- Realistic only please. No odd colors, wings, jewelry, powers, etc.
- Pure breeds and mix breeds acceptable.
- Will be both play at least three main character dogs.
- All of your dogs may not be one gender. You must have at least one male and at least one female.
- May be located in a city, town, dump, forest, anywhere really.

Lions
- Realistic only please. No odd colors, wings, jewelry, powers, etc.
- Will be both play at least three main character lions.
- All of your lions may not be one gender. You must have at least one male and at least one female.
- May use extinct lions, white lions, almost extinct lions, escaped zoo lions, etc. Though most characters have to be the usual wild African lion to keep it more realistic.
- Prides may have more than one male to keep a gender balance.
- Prides will have a King and Queen, Princes and Princesses, etc.

Pirates
- Pirates of the Caribbean era.
- May have some fantasy aspects, though no non-human races.

Alrighty, I'm Gene. I'm obviously here because I want a person to 1x1 RP with.
Anyway, I would like to RP with a semi-literate or higher RPer that's willing to deal with me if I get writer's block or just don't open up in the beginning. I am a huge spelling/grammar freak, so I would prefer you either have good spelling and punctuation or have Firefox spellcheck it and proofread it before you send it. Don't worry - I won't bite your head off if I find a typo. I just want to make sure I can read what you're saying and such.
Here's what I will and won't do. The hearts are like star-ratings (0/5, 3/5, etc.). Yes, some have the same rating. It isn't a typo.
