Diamond leaned down to touch her nose to Amberkit's cheek for a moment before turning her head towards the direction of the apprentice. "Thank you again, Lavenderpaw." She said, voice lined with a soft purr, "I don't know what we would do without you medicine cats."

Sungaze was standing, watching everything his apprentice was doing from afar. He had obviously chosen to let her handle the situation and not get involved himself.
