[Happy~]

Link:
I nodded as the doctor walked away, I then went into Kelsie's room. "Hey...how are you feeling?" I ask, sitting in the chair next to his bed. My fingers brushed across his as I looked him, my gaze full of worry, concern, and regret.

Kelsie-
I blinked a few times at his words before sitting up and whispering hoarsly, "I-Im okay." I looked down at the blue hospital gown I was wearing and I grabbed the white cotton blanket to cover it up, pulling it to my chin. I felt resistance in my arm than glanced over at the crook in my arm where a if was taped. I could see something dripping in the bag when my eyes followed the I'd clear tubing. It must have been pain meds, or maybe just saline for fluids. I then looked over at Link, "What did the doctor say?"

[Happy~]

Link:
I gently run my hand through his hair. "He said that the knife did some internal damage but they were able to fix it." I say. "You'll be here for a few days." Stifling a yawn I lean forward and kiss his head.

Kelsie-
I forced a small smile for him and said softly, "oh...okay." I wasn't happy staying in the hospital, I wanted to go home. I let my fingers slide a long the IV and I glanced over at him again, "I want to go home."

Link:
I glance away from him, "I know... but you have to wait." I tell him gently. " The doctor wants to make sure the knife didn't do any more damage then what they could see." I explain, "He said if the guy had angled the knife just a bit more the blade would have torn through your liver." I look at him again. My eyes were red from unshed tears.

Kelsie-
I gave a small nod and gently tangled my fingers into his hand and with my other hand I dragged my finger down his face, "Stop being sad, Link. I'm fine."

[Happy~]

Link:
I squeeze his hand, "I'm sorry...I-I can't remeber the last time I've been this scared." I try to blink away the tears as I look at him, soon they clear and I kiss the tip of his nose. "Do you need anything?" I ask.

Kelsie-
I tried to think of time he ever had been scared. When his tears were gone, a grin pulled at the edges of my lips, although they were tight with pain. "No, I'm okay, thank you though. You should get something to eat."

Link:
I shake my head, "I'll be fine." I say and place my other hand over his, so his hand was covered by both of mine. "I can bring you something, from home. If you want, to help you while you're here." I say.

I nodded and thought for a second before saying, "I would like some sweatpants. Oh, and can you get me my phone."
