Anya slowed down a bit when she called after her, and soon stopped at the entrance to the room. "Wow... Everyone looks so pretty tonight. Well, the girls anyway. The guys all look good." She said, scanning the people. "And this isn't all of them, I don't think. Must be some in another room." She told Miko, then turned to her with a grin. "Well, let's go. Maybe we can find someone our own age finally."

Voltaire smirked when Nuke followed after him. "Oh, I know she does, but I couldn't have her wear that to a masquerade." He said, pouring himself a glass of wine. "My way; basically, get friendly with the girl, get her to trust you at least somewhat, and once you're alone and she's basically defenseless, you tell her that she needs to keep it a secret, use bribes if necessary, and ask the question. I have never once had a problem with it." He said, then turned to look out at the crowd. "Hm, seems Lucine got herself a date. She must be looking for a Seifried replacement. Oh, and there's Julie, playing the violin. Turned out to be a cute little thing." He looked around, his eyes landing on a girl in a red dress. "And that must be little Yvette. She's gotten big, in a few different ways. I don't see Mana, though, she must be in one of the other rooms, or not here yet..."

Well of course I want you drunk, you would be that much easier to push off a building. "Oh, no, I'm not one of them. I do have decency, I'm not about to lure you anywhere if you did get drunk. If I were going to try to lure anyone, it would be with a bribe." Alain said, then poured her a glass, handing it to her, then himself a glass. "Sounds like a plan." His eyes wandered to where two D clan members were muttering amongst themselves. He could tell one was the next clanhead, Voltaire. He had only met him once, but he was one of those people that stayed in your head forever. The way he held himself, his body language, and when he turned slightly to the side, the eyes were a dead giveaway. Everything about him had an air of mysterious arrogance.

Lucine smiled. "I'm sure you'll dance just fine." She told him. "If I can dance blind, you can dance while seeing." She added, placing a hand near his shoulder. "I think this party was a good idea, it gives the young people a chance to see who else is out in the world, maybe finally find someone they can marry." She said, hoping that Alain would start to get to know Kara more, considering they were with each other now.

Having the feeling she was being watched, Yvette looked around, finally noticing David staring at her. She nodded to him, then looked back at Daisuke. "I prefer wearing something with more mobility. Dresses just don't suit my tastes for mobility. My normal outfit is what I enjoy wearing." Granted, her "normal outfit" was a bit skanky, or how she called it, airy, but it offered her the best mobility. When he suggested they dance, she nodded slowly. "I suppose, though I have no idea how to dance at all."

"Thank you." Sayuri said, following after him. Nevena started to whine once Sayuri took the necklace out of her hands with a soft yet firm "No." She sighed, adjusting the blanket slightly. "Shi~tsu, chīsana ichi." She cooed, humming softly to her. She quieted down at the song, one that always seemed to make the child happy. "Your father is busy, you'll have to sleep."

Oliver smiled, then looked around the room. "Well, I don't see many of them, actually. I'm usually alone in my room, drawing or painting. They're usually off doing something else, too. It's not too bad. Although there is the occasional redhead who likes to barge into others' rooms without knocking..." He muttered with a light frown. "But otherwise, the castle's so big that we rarely see one another."

Francesca had been told to enjoy herself, but as she looked around, she wondered, what should she do? Rarely was she given free time away from her master. She was either catering to his every whim, or "entertaining" him when he got bored and the need for "fun" arose. She enjoyed it too, though, so she wouldn't complain. She sighed, and started walking around the room, scouting out the place.
