The blond looked up having been waiting patiently watching the girls while waiting for Haruna to return. And he was starting to get a little anxious too. And annoyed. Rigel had started pacing back and forth a bit in his anxiousness until Ai caught his attention.

Turning around he saw Haruna approaching followed closely by the stablehands.

The blonde woman looked at her son in law, already considering him that. Even though Rigel and he weren't married, shed still call him her son in law. Pushing the thought away, she instead focused on the fact he'd been away. "What took so long?" she asked, since Rigel wasn't doing so.

The dark haired boy said "I...we cut through the gardens," as he looked at Isabella. He couldn't talk to her about the dress now... but he would later. He hummed a small sound, saying "I stopped by Icarus' grave." He watched the female vampire nod, then looked to Rigel and the girls and smiled.

The reddish brown haired little one said "Icarus..." as she remembered the boy. She then shook her head a couple times. "Well...i...would like to see our masks now, and so would Nina." She said so in the polite tone of a little lady, as if practicing, as if trying it out.

“Haruna!”, yelled Nina running to the human before leaping up and throwing her weight at him. Her arms flinging outwards to wrap around him best they could. “Come on Ai! Help me make sure he doesn’t leave again!”, she demanded of her sister giggling.

Meanwhile Rigel watched the whole thing with a shrug of his shoulders. “Tis what you deserve so you shall find no aide from me in this situation you are finding yourself in. Get yourself out of this. I am not going to get involved here.” A smirk pulled at the corners of his lips as he turned around, “Once you free yourself of them, let me know.”

The blonde woman hummed quietly, something she tended to do. Shed never hum loud enough to be heard, but shed hum nonetheless.

The dark haired boy yelped as the two girls ran over to him to grab onto him. Ai took longer to do so, but as always she did what her sister wanted. Just as her sister would do what she wanted, she would do the same. Now was one of the times Nina wanted something, and Ai did what Nina wanted.

Haruna looked at Rigel with what was meant to be a glare, but ended up pouting instead. He rolled his eyes, then thought of something. He said "I know exactly how to get out of this," and started to tickle the girls. He heard Ai yelp and start saying no, so he paused to look at her.

The reddish brown haired little one tilted her head as she only watched a moment. However, when her sister called to her, she nodded. She ran over as well, grabbing on as well as her little arms could. When she wanted something, Nina did what she wanted or gave her what she wanted.

This was one of the times Nina wanted something, so she did what Nina wanted. She giggled as she held on, until he started tickling Nina. She yelped and said "No, no, no!" then saw the look of concern. "Im...I'm fine, just...no tickling," she said, as she didn't like laughing so much she felt she couldn't breathe..

A scowl crossed Aralynn’s face like she’d just tasted something disgusting but she didn’t say anything on it. Truth be told she figured that be the unfortunate case. It was the idea of doing or going along with anything that Adrian had thought up in the meantime more then displeased her, yet she’d have to rein it in. Luckily she’d have Al to keep her focus upon and make the other vampire’s chores somewhat bearable.

“I’m glad I don’t have to declare I twill be accompanying you on this and any other endeavour until such a time I see fit to stay home. Unless you wish to run the risk of me hunting you down that is.”

Putting aside how defensive about him she’d been as a human, the Changeling just about lost her sire once. That wasn’t going to happen again. Not ever.

However. When Al mentioned that they’d be precautionary escorts for Orion…..

“Orion!?”

A chunk of the edge of the table which the materials sat on was gouged out as if stricken by a pair of claws. A act which sent splinters of wood into the air before they ended clattering to the floor. Though Aralynn herself had done nothing but shout.

" Aralynn!" Exclaimed Al, not even processing that it hadn't been she who'd broken the table., arms spread out in a " now look what you've done" manner.

" That was 200 years old!" Surprisingly the male appeared quite distraught about the table. He didn't get back to the topic at hand until the shock wire off, but he still had a bit of a unethused look on his face.

" I'm just as thrilled about this as you are, so spare us both the lecture. " Al had grumpily moved to gather up what he could of the splintered wood in the dull hope it might have been repairable. Ionce deemed a pointless endeavor, he abandoned the task.

" But we are in no position to reject him. Do you really want to risk the consequences? He knows everyone in this manner, except you, practically inside and out. He'll know how to his is where it shall hurt the most. That's kind of his thing if you can't tell by now. "

Though the blond was still visibly fuming, she had tight enough control not to continue lashing out. Either that or knew that any continued destruction would be useless but to get her a scolding from Al and not rip through the male Twin Star as she desired. Instead of coming out as continued violence, Aralynn’s less then pleasant emotions came out as a un-ladylike growling huff.

“I understand. I Twould never do anything that Twould possibly cause harm to the family, tis the last thing on my thoughts.”, Aralynn replied, “Doesn’t mean I’m going to be very happy or understand why Orion needs any type of bodyguard in all seriousness. Tis just another game or some sort of test surely. That tis the frustrating part.”

It was doubtful that the blond was going to allow herself to be at ease at all the following day. Though with a task like this who could really blame her? No soul. Perhaps there had been more to Orion being in the marketplace while she and the other women of the house were out shopping after all. Though she still couldn’t decide then if catching up to him afterwords would have been the smart thing to do or not.

Nina was relentless. She refused to let go of Haruna clinging onto him as though her very life depended on her to, even as he started tickling her and her sister. Not that it was easy though. Her little fists clung to the young man tighter in attempts to keep of the tickling hoping that he would perhaps eventually grow tiered and give up, though when that’d be was uncertain.

This was a true battle of wills.

“I’m not letting go! No way!”, Nina declared stubbornly as she tried to hold back her laughter. Though her success in that was up for debate.

The dark haired boy hummed a small sound and continued to tickle Nina. He didn't tickle Ai, as shed asked him not to and he wasn't mean. He looked down at Nina a moment, thinking of something. "You know...if you two don't let go of me, you can't see your masks."

He let them think on that one a moment, then said "We'll also miss dinner or your snack." He wasn't honestly sure what time it was now. He was sure it was almost time for food, whether dinner or the usual snack the girls got. He could only hope one or both of those things he'd said would make them let go.

The reddish brown haired little one made a small sound as she heard those things. "Nina...Nina, we wanted to see the masks. We also can't miss our food," she said, way more focused on that part than the food. She hoped he wouldn't mention anything else, like how it could get cold out here or anything...

She didn't want to let go, but she didn't want to stay out here and get hungry. If Haruna mentioned how them not letting him move would mean they'd be stuck out here, she'd let go. If he brought up getting cold. If he brought up not being able to sleep because they were out here, that'd work too.

" There's no doubt, as you said, that there is some form of a test here. Likely one of loyalty, unless by some chance Orion has been made vulnerable by some form of injury. An unlikely if not impossible scenario. "

He was still uneasy from the nightmare, but the worst of the after effects had passed.

" Tis not till the early afternoon when we must escort him. For now let's try to calm our minds, then let's come up with a game plan on how to handle such a creature as Orion."
