Catherine walked over to him and pressed a small kiss to her cheek before pulling away after she had made sure no one was around. “I’ll be okay, Xander, you rest,” she said and smiled “You took care of me, now let me care for you.” she added Kindly.

Xander looks at her and smiles and nods. "Alright Catherine." He hugs her close for a few seconds then he goes into his room and falls on his bed, liking the comfort of his bed again. He adjusts himself and gets comfy.
The king on this day is extremely nervous and calls a meeting of high order. Commanders and generals rushing into the strategic area for the meeting. (>;3)

Catherine hugged him back before she watched him disappear to his room. She turned and walked out onto the balcony were she sat in one of the chairs and tucked her feet beneath her. She watched the activity of town from where she sat.

Xander falls asleep on his bed. Finally get some rest that he did really need. The King and his generals are discussing issue that have just came up: Another kingdom has aimed at Karendra, not liking the fact that Karendra has be neutral for so long. There was a small attack inside Karendra's borders and armies have been sent to defend the town attack and some other parts of the border.

Catherine leaned her head back against the chair as she leaned back and let the sun warm her skin. She could hear chatter from the people below her, but she couldn’t pick out what they were saying.

Soldiers march off as well as scouts on horses race out of the city to get information. Xander while he sleeps tosses and turns, having nightmares. The king walks out of the strategic room stressed and rubbing his head. He walks around and see Catherine on the balcony and walks over. "Hey Catherine! What doing up here alone." He looks around not seeing his son anywhere in site. "Did the prince leave you alone?"

Catherine picked up her head quickly as she head the king approach. She smiled up at him “No, no, he’s just relaxing.” she replied with a soft chuckle as she sat up more and crossed her leg over the other. She tilted her head slightly “Are you okay? You look tired, or stressed.” she asked, hoping that the king was okay.

The king sits down near Catherine and tries to relax a bit, rubbing his head. I have been pretty tired and stressed for a while. Part of the job of being a king. At the moment is a high stressful moment. I think we are being looked at by another kingdom. There have been some small attacks in our borders. I am sure things will be alright for now.. but war might be coming."

Catherine raised her eyebrows at the mention of a war, the idea of one made her skin crawl. “Do you know which kingdom is looking at us?” she asked curiously as she looked over at him. She hoped that a war wasn’t in their near future.
