Mani continued to follow, and she was a bit relieved once they arrived at the lake. She looked at the surface of the water, and then looked up at the sky.

[should this dream show clues that the moon is disappearing, because no wolf has the proper duty now? cx]

Castor looked at the moonlit lake with wonder. It wasn't glowing like last time, the light was dying, as if anything. He glance up at the moon, noticing how small it was compared to last time, it wasn't as big as it appeared in the previous dream. Its light was faint, too.

Mani looked at the moon, and she sighed, seeing it wasn't the same, it wasn't normal. "Its not only like this in the dream, but in the real world too...this is bad."

[hypnowave]

Castor nodded, he understood. He looked around, and spotted the same boat as last time... but what would it do to get Mani to the center of the lake? It was, at best, pointless, wasn't it?

[wolf ;;]

Mani was thinking - this was worse then anyone would think. "I don't even have my power anymore, and if the moon is left too long without a moon guard...the whole world would be in danger."

Castor gulped. Despite everything going on, he hadn't realized how serious the situation was, or at least until now.

[wolf ;;]

Mani blinked her eyes, before looking back at the moon. "And a new moon guard can't be created until the previous one dies, even if they don't have their power." She said. "There is one way to get the power back...but it is difficult and painful."

[hypnowave]

Castor listened on, but he couldn't help but blurt out, "But this is a dream, Mani. Are... are you sure this will work here?" He knew he was being downright obvious... but what would happen next?

Mani flicked an ear, and glanced at him. "So what if it is a dream? It happens either way. I was told all this when I was younger, before I had my duty." She said. "The ritual, half of it, takes place in dreams."

Understanding, Castor nodded. The dreamscape was, indeed, a strange place, yet it was important. He didn't know what to do. "W-what now?"
