Xander nods. "Alright, well whatever you do from sitting on the balcony or anything have fun.. I dont want you to be bored." Their food arrived, servants putting plates of food infront of Xander and Catherine. The food being breakfast stuff. Bacon and eggs with toast having butter or jam on the sides for them.

Catherine watched the servants bring the plates in before she nodded in response to his words "I'll be okay, you just worry about catching up on sleep," she said, looking over at him with a kind smile. She smeared some jam onto her toast, making sure it covered all the toast in a thin layer.

"Alright Catherine I'll worry about sleep." Xander smiled at her. Then he started to eat his food, munching on the bacon and putting butter on his toast. He enjoys the food that was made. "Thank you for worrying about me Catherine."

Catherine smiled at him after swallowing some food “What are girlfriends for?” she murmured teasingly and playfully poked his shoulder before she ate more food.

Xander ate most of his food, not being able to finished what he had left because he was full and sat back a bit, stretching and yawning. "Alright I'll go tell some guards to post in your home area then get some sleep. You can stay here if you like or come. Doesn't bother me what you do." He smiled at her then get got up to start heading towards a general to go tell him to post some guards somewhere.

Catherine watched him as he spoke before she got up and followed him after finishing her food. She figured she’d follow him until they went upstairs and then she’d go to the balcony. She listened to him speak to the general, it being one of the first times she heard him giving orders.

Xander and the general talked for a bit. The general saying he had other worries than just some poor district. Xander argued with him and was saying that he didnt care and that the general better do what he has asked or his will find ways to promote him. A thing not too likely for most princes but thos one had knowledge of people, being sneaky and stealthy in most places in the castle and the town.

Catherine listened to them speak, but kept her eyes on the ground as she listened so it seemed like she wasn’t paying attention. She stayed behind Xander with her hands folded in front of her.

Xander and the general continued to chat for a bit then the general sighed and ordered some guards to guard the area the prince specified. Xander smiled at the general and walked out, bumping into Catherine." Hey Catherine! Enjoying the commotion?" He smiled at her and hugged her lightly knowing that she will be safe.
