I... L O V E Y O U? (1x1 Adonis x Medve. Adve)

As Adonis saw the light of the end of the tunnel -- quite literally -- he folded his limbs to his body to make himself more streamline, zipping along like crazy. He shot out and went a good four feet across the water before finally sinking deep into it, laughing breathlessly as he came back up and broke the surface, a giant smile of delight on his face, eyes shimmering brightly. "That... was... awesome," He panted, looking at Medve and grinning even wider.

Medve smiled at him, "Indeed," she said, standing up in the water, and then back floating again, as she put her head back into the water, then came back up. She looked at the people that she splashed and smiled as she seen them go on like nothing happened - like they didn't get splashed or anything.

Adonis grinned playfully as he swam in little circles around her, happy just to be in the water, where he was most at home. He had always secretly wondered if there wasn't some sort of mix-up with his jewel and he was meant to have one of blue instead of black. Grinning with mischief, he splashed one of his paws down on the water hard, making little waves and splashing droplets toward Medve. "Water fight?" He challenged, wriggling his eyebrows invitingly.

Medve jumped a little in surprise as she felt water drops on her face. She closed her eyes, then opened them, wiping off the water with her paws. "You're on!" she said, bringing her paws up as she stood up, her black jewel shining as she hit the water really hard, making a wave come at Adonis. She smiled as she began to back float again, watching the wave.

Adonis sputtered as he allowed the wave to hit him head-on, diving underneath it and letting it roll over him like a watery earthquake. As soon as it was gone he popped back up, snorting as he blew water out of his nose and wiped at his eyes, but only for a short time before he smirked and said, "Oh, you're gonna get it now." He rose his tail high into the air, then suddenly flew up a little bit and dropped into the water, dead weight, like an odd cannonball.

"OH GAWD," Medve shouted, running till she started to fly in the air, and people were looking at them funny. Medve dove into the water, holding onto the bottom with her nails, hoping it wouldn't damage the pool's tiles on the bottom floor. Her eyes ajusted to the water, as she looked around. She then had an idea and let herself float to the top, and held her breath, not moving.

Adonis laughed at her reaction to his playful joke, seeing her cling to the bottom of the pool like a frightened cat. When she floated up, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion, he slowly made his way over to her and gingerly prodded her with a paw. His breathing quickened a little when he realized that she wasn't breathing, or moving. "Medve?" He whispered desperately, easily scooping her up into his arms like a child, then he said, more loudly, and much more frantically, "Medve?!" People were starting to stop and look now, staring at the male.

Medve had another trick up her sleeve, though she didn't want the life guard to come iver to them, but, hey, she was just trying to joke. She knew a thing that would make her heart stop if she was calm enough - not exactly stopping, just slowing it diwn so you couldn't hear ir feel it.

"MEDVE!" Adonis bellowed, a small crowd gathering around the two of them. He wondered why no one was helping. Why was no one helping?! He didn't know what to do. Panic tinted his vision a hazy shade of red, and his heart throbbed painfully in his chest. Finally he knelt down and pressed his lips to hers, trying to remember anything he'd learned from CPR class, blowing air into her lungs as powerfully as he could before drawing back. One of his tears dripped down onto the cement, leaving a dark ghost on the gray slate.

Medve was surprised - since Skippy and her use to joke about each other drowning, and then threaten them and awake after that, and just laugh about it. Medve thought that Adonis would get it since he was a little like Skippy, but she was wrong. She let her breath go, as a sign she was breathing, still thinking of whst she would tell him.
