Copeland ran her fingers through her hair when he came back to the living room. Copeland sat next to him on the sofa and crossed one leg over the other. She wiped her eyes and leaned on him slightly "What are we eating?" She asked and played with his fingers

Brice smiled lightly when she began playing with his fingers. "Pancakes and congee - it's, like, rice porridge. It's much tastier than it sounds...imagine grits, but with rice." Thinking back on that analogy, he wasn't sure if that made it sound better or worse. He then turned and looked at the TV on low and casually playing the news. "...When do I have to have you back?"

Cope crinkled her nose at how he described the food. She would try it but she couldnt promise she would like it. "Whenever you want to take me back or Jake could come get me." She said and looked at the tv and her leg shook hastily. She put her hands between her thighs to stop it.

He nodded, then there was a silence. Though, something suddenly came to mind. "...Are you okay? Did you want to talk about last night?" He wondered briefly if she even remembered.

"No... Did you?" She asked and raised an eyebrow. She sighed and looked at him "Look, im sorry if im being weird or awkward Im just not used to being around your parents and this is my first relationship and i dont want to mess anything up." She whispered to him and kissed his cheek

Brice shook his head at her question and was going to say more until she continued. "Everything's fine; you're fine... It's okay to be nervous... And I don't really know how you could 'mess up', but okay." He shrugged. "I was just worried about you crying, that's all. I mean, if you were homesick, I'd have taken you back..." His voice trailed.

Copeland blushed and ran her hands over her face "Oh... I just had a bad dream is all. Im fine, thanks for asking." She rambled and kissed his cheek to reassure him

He forced a smile and nodded slowly. "Okay... Well, if you need, you can talk to me whenever... Even at school in front of my circle of 'populars'." He teased. He then leaned down to return her affections, pecking a few kisses along her jawline.

Copeland nodded with a soft smile "Yeah id rather not talk to you about my problems in front of them but we could do some other kind of talking later-" she leaned up to his ear "... If you know what i mean." She whisper and nibbled on his ear lobe then kissed his jaw

He laughed at her flirtations, but still felt his face heat when she nibbled his skin. "...You're so bad," he chuckled. "I like it, though." He moved to rest his arm over her shoulders before deciding to playfully grab her in a headlock and ruffle her hair.
