The redhead nodded and said "It really is good, that they do that here. Some places do gluten free but make it where all the stuff with wheat is also made...That's how people get sick," she said with a sigh. She smiled as the server said "Comin right up," and handed them the food menus. "Please look at these while I get your drinks." The server said these words, then bustled away to go make the drinks.

“Basically cross contamination.” Kiya replied lightly, with a light shrug of her shoulder. “Unless they properly clean and sanitize before making each type of dough on their tables.” She smiled and looked over the menu before picking out a blueberry muffin then setting the menu down while waiting for the drinks. “But very true on how it could get some sick if they’re allergic to wheat.”

The redhead nodded and said "Yeah, it would definitely get people sick if they're allergic...I mean, it still gets people like me sick, if they get any gluten in the non gluten stuff. Cross contamination... is really bad. Ha ha, we have to have a separate toaster at our house, for me and my mom. It's not Celiac's, but we have an intolerance to gluten." She shook her head, then looked at the menu as well.

“I can understand that.” She said lightly before seeing their drinks being made. She then looked back to Jeshii, seeing her act nervous and fidget abit. “Oh wow, I didn’t know you had a gluten allergy.” She said lightly. “Ever since we were in school?” Brow raised before her ears perked forward hearing their server come back their way with their drinks.

The redhead nodded and said "Yes, even back then, but the bread and stuff was terrible back then...I'd trade my chips for other people's food. It didn't seem to be as bad when I was a kid. I guess it messed up my stomach over time though, because I recently started having problems. At least the food is much better now. The bread isn't all...dry and weird, and if you toast it it makes it even better." She smiled a bit, then watched as the server came back with the drinks. The server handed those over, then waited for their food orders.

She nodded her head as she listened to the Nemo girl. “That I can agree with.” She replied lightly, ears perked forward. “Your body adapts to different things over time and if its use to a certain thing that it knows what upset it, it will definitely let you know.” She then smiled to the server and handed him the menu. “I’d like to order a blueberry muffin, please.” She sipped her drink and letting a light groan leave her lips. “This is actually really good and really what I needed.” She said with a small laugh.

The redhead nodded and said "That honestly makes a lot of sense." She looked at the server as they came back, and she smiled a bit. "A gluten free blueberry muffin for me, please, with the cinnamon sugar on top." The server nodded and hurried away again, after giving the drinks. Jeshii just stared at her peach drink for a moment. She giggled at Kiya, saying "Yeah," then sipped at her own drink a bit.

“Oh yea.” She said lightly with a smile. “The fact that I can make a lot of sense this early in the morning, tells me I really needed this latte and the blueberry muffin coming up.” She chuckled before sipping her drink, smiling as the cool iced flavor zinged through her veins

The redhead giggled again, but then silently wondered if that was annoying...She said "Do you um...have work or anything?" and tilted her head. She herself was in college now, not yet actually working. She was thinking of getting a part time job, but didn't know where.

(oh my gosh...I want to make her work at one of those maid cafes, or a cat cafe but one with maid uniforms. Just so Kiya can see her in a cute uniform.)

Kiya lightly shrugged her shoulder as she looked over at the redhead. "I work as a sort of waitress or bartender at the club near here at night." she replied with a bit of a far away look in her eyes, knowing that sometimes growing up meant being a youngin was no longer in the cards. "But it's not so bad. its just until i get some work experience on my shoulders before college classes start up." she smiled lightly before looking away.
