Alexander was startled when he was touched by Eliza's gentle fingers. "Eliza, I'm alright. If they get infected, I'll be alright. When I was young I survived a terrible illness. I couldn't seem to die. I'll be perfectly fine," he sternly said as he broke away from Eliza's hold. He went to his desk and sat down. He didn't write anything, he just sighed and put his forehead in his hands while his elbows lied on his desk. "I promise I'm okay." He dropped one of his hands and picked up his pencil again. He grabbed the same paper and jotted down some more words on each line to get his mind off of Eliza and her worrisome worries.

Alexander looked at Eliza over his shoulder and shook his head. "I need to be a good example for my children, Eliza," he said softly as he scribbled down, 'note to self: be a better father and husband'. He hid the paper under some other papers and looked up at Eliza after he turned around. "Love, trust me on this one, I'll be alright."

Alexander finally gave up on arguing. "Fine, I'll clean them out, but nothing more than that. No bandage or anything," he replied. "I don't think I can join you for dinner tonight, dear, maybe tomorrow? I'll have whatever I he kids don't eat." Alex stood up and hugged Eliza gently. "I love you. Now, go feed the children, I'll come out in a little bit if that's alright."

Alexander -

Alexander sighed. "I can't take a break. I need to get this plan past congress. I'll join you until I finish my food then I'll get back to work, alright? Go get dinner prepared and I will go clean out my cuts," he said softly. He opened his door slowly and pushed past Philip, walking to the upstairs bathroom and turning on the sink. He ran his wands through the water, pumped out the hand soap and washed it normally, not cleaning out the cuts very well but it was good enough to Hamilton.

Alexander -

Alexander walked downstairs and went to help his wife in the kitchen. "Would you like any help? I think I cleaned up pretty well," he said, but in reality, he knew he didn't clean to Eliza's satisfaction. He checked to see if the table was set, which it was, and if all eleven chairs were there. He didn't bother pulling up another one because he was unaware of Theodosia's whereabouts.

Theodosia -

Theodosia grinned and nodded with a small smile. "Thanks Philip! I'm right behind you," she called back as she ran up and into the house. She was hungry and she knew everything Eliza cooked was amazing; Philip's school lunches always looked great and she was told they are most of the time leftovers. She grinned as the younger children trampled in and sat down. "Philip, take a seat. I'll be right back."

(Right here Alexander says goodbye to Theo and hopes she doesn't stay for dinner and (hopefully) Philip and Eliza get snappy haha)

Angelica -

Angelica rolled off of the couch and yelled the words, "Food! Where is the food?!" She got up and ran over to her seat and sat down. It seemed like they all had assigned seats. She took the seat she always did, right next to Philip.

Alexander mocked Eliza and Philip with lots of high-pitched "myth meh bleh meh!!"s and hand gestures as a sock puppet would need wig a crabby face. He took a seat a the end of the table and saw the children's faces light up. He grinned softly and looked at each one of them. "How was your day?"

Theodosia -

Theodosia washed her hands in the downstairs bathroom and then sat in the seat that Philip kindly provided for her. She grinned and mouthed "it's okay" to Philip and hoped Alexander wouldn't catch it.

Alexander grinned and picked up his fork as he looked down at his plate, unsure what to eat first. As the others dug in he decided to go with the main piece on his plate.

Theodosia -

Theodosia grinned as her plate was brought around. "Thank you so much, Mrs. Hamilton! It looks and smells delicious," she said as she picked up her fork and ate slowly, savoring each bite.

Alexander felt awkward and quickly finished up his dinner. "Thank you, Eliza. Please visit me in my office if I'm needed. Kids, ask mom for anything, I'll be busy for the next few days. Goodnight!" he called as he got up from the table and turned to leave. He walked around the turn and went to his office. He closed the door behind him and immediately got to work.

Theodosia -

Theodosia grinned and nodded. "I'll be over when my dad leaves me with just a ramen packet," she giggled as she wiped her face.

Alexander sat down anxiously. He picked up his pen and stared at the paper. He put down his hand to write, but hesitated and his mind went blank. He Linder his fist down on his desk and grunted. He bared his teeth and stared off into space while staring straight ahead to his wall.

Theodosia -

Theodosia looked to Eliza. "May I be excused from the table?" she asked softly as she stood up and rinsed her plate off and put it in the dishwasher. She glanced back at Eliza and grinned.

Alexander rambled on to himself until he realized someone was at his office door. He muttered a few words to himself and mumbled something that sounded like, "Come in." He rubbed his temples as he sighed and frowned. He closed his eyes and rubbed them before he rubbed his neck and spun in his chair. He took out his short ponytail and let down his hair. "Yes?" he asked his wife.

Theodosia -

Theodosia nodded and ran upstairs to Philip's room and once again examined it. He came across a secret rock and mineral collection and grinned. She picked up an unopened geode gently and examined it.
