Hallie looked around at all of the plumerians walking to the festival and began feeling a bit nervous. Stop it, she told herself, It'll all be fine. Arriving at the festival, she walked inside and was surprised at how crowded the streets were. the festival had only opened an hour ago, how could so many plumies have come?

Hallie shook her head, looking around for someone she knew.

Patriot walked among the crowd,he was a bit tall but even with his height he couldn't quite see over the heads of everyone who had shown up. He had been invited by Seal to show up to the festival; and he supposed it was better he show up a bit early. Seal had told him she was bringing along her friend Alani; so he looked for the familiar faces in the crowd. Unable to see them- he supposed they hadn't arrived yet. Not wanting to wander too far from the entrance he leaned against a building, patiently waiting. He wasn't in any rush anyways. Never really was. He messed with his hat- trying to fix the brim that had gotten a bit twisted up. "This stupid thing." he mumbled to himself.

Seal bounced up and down while approaching the entrance. There were lots of other plumes around, and being short, it was hard to see over their heads. She pounced around trying to get a glance of Patriot or Alani. Neither were anywhere in her sight. After purchasing her ticket, she decided to wait at the gate for her date and her bff. As she padded closer to the gate, she noticed a shiny blue coat holding a brown fishing hat. Her heart leaped as she noticed Patriot fixing up his old hat. "PATRIOTTTT!" She yelled, squeezing her way through the crowd.

Universe

I nodded awkwardly. My lips set in tight, firm line. I quickly scanned the guy that was next to me. He looked, well, princely. I frowned a bit, and wondered why such royalty-looking people would be here. I shook my head and quickly smiled. The summer festival was for anyone! And it was loads of fun anyway!

Lauys

Lauys sighed. He then looked over at her, and replied,"Defintely. And nope, been here for at least 5 times." I quickly ran my hand through my hair, and shoved one hand in my pocket.

Hearing his name Patriot glanced up, seeing Seal he gave her the faintest of smiles. Walking to meet her he hugged her when he was close enough, though to hug her since she was shorter he had to practically pick her up. "Hey girlie." he said in a joking greeting. "Haven't found your friend I see? I hope we didn't miss her." he added when he noticed Alani wasn't with her. He set her down and took her hand, gently leading her to where he'd been standing outside the crowd- trying to make sure they wouldn't be standing in anyone's way. "We can see everyone who comes in from here. ..Assuming we're paying attention- like I wasn't. Sure is a good thing you noticed me first." he said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head.

Alani had bought her tickets. She started looking for Seal and Patriot. Then she heard that voice, the soaund of Seal yelling for Patriot. She saw Seals feather slightly and pushed around to get to her and Patriot. Finally, all three of them were together. "Hey guys." Alani said smiling. "Ready for a day full of fun? I am! I brought taterchips incase you guys dont want carnival food." Alani blushed, "I like taterchips if you cant tell... Hehe! Anyways lets go!"

Seal leaned into his warm hug, standing on the very tip of her toes. "Nope, Alani hasn't shown up yet. But I'm sure she'll be here." She took his hand and followed him to the edge of the crowd. Things did seem a little less claustrophobic over here. She turned around and looked at the crowd while still listening to Patriot. She gave him a light smile and turned back around towards him. She pulled his hat over his eyes and jokingly said "it sure is, mr. Oblivious!"

Suddenly, she heard the familiar voice of her friend. She turned to see Alani walking towards them. "Hey A! Thanks for the chips!" She gave her friend a big hug. "I'm with you, let's get this day of fun started!"

"You guys are soo cute <3 If Latte doesn't like me anymore, I would be single for the rest of my life. Only if me and Latte were like that." She sheepishly smiled. Alani huged Seal back and turned to PAtriot. "Hi P. Hows it going bro? You are a lucky guy here. You've got a great gal. So maybe ill find LAtte to enjoy the fireworks with. Anyways, what would you guys like to do first?"

"I don't remember when i first started comming here, i guess it was a while ago." She explained, the temptation for food was now so high that she just had to get something. "I'm going to go get something to eat... want to come?" She aksed, hopeing that the other plumie would come. Company wouldn't hurt at all.
