Sigma nodded. "I know the feeling," she said glumly, thinking about her 5 hour task ahead. Still, something about that call unsettled her. She walked with Lucien down the hall and stopped at the door, pausing a moment to fish through her purse for her room key. She quickly slid the card through the scanner, unlocked the door and pushed it open. "Well," she said with a sigh, turning to face the handsome businessman one last time. "Goodnight, Lucien."

Lucien gave a charming smile, "Sleep well," he purred in his rich, deep voice as he turned, plucking out his own card and sliding it quickly through the scanner with a flick of his wrist, and entering his room.

Once within his room, he shed his jacket a bit angrily, tossing it and his tie onto the bed. More strands from his ponytail had escaped, giving a sort of rough look now. Hearing the bluetooth buzzing once again, he picked it up, converting it to a cellphone call. "What is it?" he snarled, rewarded with a bit of silence, then to hear the voice of Vicente once again; "What's taking you so long? You're usually back to the Sanctuary by now." Vicente said in his usually calm, lax tone, not much phased by the other Assassin's current anger. "Do you doubt my abilities, Vicente?" Lucien growled, kicking his shoes off into the corner, sitting down on the bed. "I certainly don't, Lucien. But, I'm simply curious about your... delay." the man murmured on the other side of the phone. Lucien gave a sigh. "The only issue is that the girl looks like Allison. I'll get the job done, though." Lucien growled, hanging up the phone and throwing it against the wall angrily before Vicente had a chance to respond.

Sigma walked into her room and closed the door behind her, leaning against it with a sigh. She closed her eyes, replaying in her head the way Lucien had said "sleep well". It gave her goosebumps, the good kind though, and she wished she could hear more of his velvety smooth voice. But no. Time to work. She opened her eyes and pushed off of the door, walking over to her laptop and flipping it open before walking to the fridge and taking out a bottle of champagne and a champagne glass. She set both on her table, eyeing them for a moment before shaking her head and deciding she'd drinken enough alcohol this night. Without a further ado, she brought her fingers to the keyboard and set to work.

Lucien reached over to his nightstand, plucking up a few of the lockpicks. Though they were rusted, they certainly worked well. He reached into his pants pocket, making sure his dagger and handgun were still there. he tossed the handgun onto the bed, replacing it's spot with the vial of poison. With that, he stood. He took the ponytail from his hair, re-doing the mess once again. He slipped on his leather boots, which allowed him to move quickly and quietly. He then opened his door, shutting it lightly. Peering down the hall both directions to check for people, he made his way to her door once he knew the coast was clear. He slid the lockpick into the scanner, picking away at the metal scanning unit until he heard the satisfactory 'click of the lock opening. And with that, he crept into the target's room.

Sigma was very focused on her laptop when Lucien came in. She sat curled up on the couch, frowning at the screen as her fingers flew across the keyboard. She didn't even hear Lucien as he crept in.

Lucien could see the light of the laptop in the dimly lit room, and he crept silently and slowly across the carpeted floor, careful to not make a sound. Quickly pulling out his dagger and poison, he dripped some of the toxic, violet liquid over the ebony blade, then placed the bottle back into his pocket. He crept up behind the couch, stopping slightly as he watched her rapidly type in numbers and letters that all seemed quite confusing to him. He could see the reflection of her face in the screen of the laptop, and yet again, he felt that frustrating pang in his sternum.

Sigma paused for a moment to translate a code from numbers to French and then to English in her mind before hacking through the foreign firewall and into the next level of defense. She noticed an unfamiliar movement on the screen and focused her eyes on the reflection. With a gasp, she slammed the laptop closed and dived forward, reaching for the half empty champagne bottle as she did so.

Lucien heard the gasp he wasn't suspecting, and he flinched in surprise, his syrup-brown eyes watching as she reached for the half empty champagne body. He leapt over the couch, dagger held between his teeth, barelling "Katie" over onto the floor, attempting to enable her.

Sigma let out a grunt as the man pounced on her just as her fingers had clasped around the neck of the bottle. The bottle dropped harmlessly to the floor just a few inches out of her reach, leaving her with only her fists. A flash of hurt betrayal passed over her face when she recognized her attacker. "Lucien!" she gasped, clearly surprised. Her hands curled into fists then and she struck out at him, aiming for his jaw holding the knife.

The poisoned dagger was knocked from his mouth, sliding and clattering on the wooden floor a good few feet away. He glared, his hair now partially loose from the pounce. He looked back to her, his hands on her wrists as he hovered over her. "This could have been so much simpler for you." he snarled. Now, it may have to be an ugly death for her. He desperately tried to rob his mind of the thoughts of Allison, and the similarities between this girl and his dead lover.

Oooh, it made him all the more furious.
