With a twitch of her tail, she charged in. Jaws snapped open, revealing stained teeth. Then she aimed to bite at Tasu's snout. A terrible place to attack honestly.

Letum released the other's snout when she won the battle. Hopefully Tasu learned a few lessons. Then even ahz like Letum can be a deadly force. "Good battle, young one." She spoke to the other before making her way to the river. Her wounds hurt and the cool water would feel nice against them. Paws slipped into the water before she carefully lowered herself down to her side. Since her belly held painful scratches. Closed her eyes and relaxed as the cool water wrapped itself around her battered body.

Head still held high, Tasu shook the blood off her snout. She turned her nose up at Letum, ignoring the other Ahz's compliment. She limped over to the river, her back to the older Ahzenai. She entered slowly, still ashamed by her loss. She would need time, but she would be back again, and this time she wouldn't lose. Glancing at Letum further down the river, Tasu let out a small whimper. Her wounds hurt more than she had first thought, and perhaps she had underestimated the older Ahz. She wouldn't admit how she felt, but it was hard not to catch the admiration and envy in the younger Ahz's eyes.

Almost deciding to wait, Modus faked doing so, lowering his head into an unprotected stance. Then, snaking sideways and lunging at her, he went for her neck, deciding he'd thrash about and claw her with his remaining strength if he succeeded in getting a hold of the female first. This was an all-out, almost desperate move, but it was controlled and powerful, muscles rippling as her lunged at her, jaws and claws outstretched.
