Mikah frowned, disgusted with that. He hated the way these people thought. Well, at least there were some people who weren't like that. He nodded, but didn't engage in the conversation. He never thought of his people living with Azgeda for a longer time period. He always envisioned them living back at home. He glanced up at Piper, then looked at her father. He couldn't understand how he was okay with this. They were doing it just to rule. They didn't even care about Piper.

The man looked at him worried. "Well, ill be rooting for you. Good luck." He said before walkibg off, leaving him alone as tge final battle ended and everyone began to celebrate.

He nodded at the man. It was strange, but at least someone from Azgeda wanted him to win. He glanced back up at Piper, then surveyed the crowd, looking at everyone who had won. He wondered what the next competition would be.

Piper stood on a daze, stairing at the ground as he father was lead back to his hut. Slowly she pulled herself together enough to begin walking back to her hut.

Magnus slowly pulled away from liah. "Im going to go find him. You stay here."

Liah watched him leave. She needed to see Mikah, but she didn't want to be left alone. How could she be so weak?

Mikah watched Piper as she left. He wished he could talk to her. But he didn't move his feet, and just stood there.

Magnus walked over to Mikah quickly, smiling as he saw he was ok. "I can't believe it, you actually survived." He grinned and pulled him into a tight hug.

A slight smile crept onto Mikah's face. He hugged him back, glad that one of his people wasn't mad at him. "Come on. Have a little faith in me," he teased once he pulled away. "How is Liah?" he asked, a crease between his brows forming as he got serious again.

Magnus pulled away as well, glancing at the bruise on his jaw worried. "She is ok. She wants to see you." He saud before leading him back to where liah was waiting. He staued a ways back, resuming his proffesional demeanor and allowing them to have their moment.

Mikah approached Liah, hesitant. But all Liah did was pull him into a hug. She must to know what he had actually been doing. He hugged her back, closing his eyes. He hoped that he would win, for Trishana's sake. And that he wouldn't die, for Liah's

Magnus saw everything was ok abd walked off to give them alone time.
