SilverStar smiled awkwardly, unsure what to say next. "So, umm, what kind of territory is SnowClan? Well, I'm assuming something with snow." she laughed a little, glancing over at ShadowFlight. That she-cat had left. Good.

SweetPaw grinned, "SilverStar says that our clan only started a few moons ago, so it is to be expected. And we're pretty scary too! You'd better watch out!" she said in a testing tone, batting at the younger apprentice's ears playfully.

chestnutstar listened as stonestar explained that the prey was plentiful and a queen had recently given birth to a healthy kit. "that is very good to hear. congratulations. i'm guessing this isn't your clan's first litter though?"

bristleclaw sat at a distance, his eyes glued to his leader and mate, chestnutstar. he tried to read her lips as she spoke to the other leaders, but he could not make out the words. he did not have much of a motive to talk to others.

palenose gave a small hum to himself when the she-cat gave him yet another glance. did she want to speak to him? maybe after the announcements he would be able to meet her. for now, she had her duty as a leader to speak to the other clans. however, he could not help but watch her. perhaps he should be focusing on his leader, but this she-cat from petalclan interested him.

"i'm doing well. this is my first gathering; it's rather exciting." blossompaw responded, giving the other she-cat a smile. "which clan are you from, nutpaw?" she inquired, her head tilting slightly. suddenly, she was startled by another apprentice bumping into nutpaw. she took a small step back and tilted her ears back when the apprentice hissed at nutpaw before walking away. "well.. that wasn't nice."

frecklepaw gave a smile when the she-cat said that her clan was scary too. "since both of our clans are so strong, we should be allies." he insisted with a firm nod.

crowfall and hawkeye sat together and spoke of the gathering. "there are so many clans here.. it's amazing." she murmured, her gaze sweeping the forest as she took in all the other clans. "we have a lot of competition, hmm?" he mused, a chuckle escaping him.

Cricketpaw trotted curiously through the crowd. She wasn't really headed in any specific direction, but every cat she saw seemed to already be talking with someone else. The young calico was admittedly slightly disappointed at having to leave her best friend behind, but medicine cat talk bored her easily. Cricketpaw eventually spotted a white apprentice padding through the horde of cats. The small she-cat approached him eagerly. "Hi! I'm Cricketpaw from AspenClan," she mewed with a bright smile. "Is this your first Gathering too?"

The patched leader weaved through the rapidly-growing crowd of cats until she reached the Great Rock. Robinstar leapt up easily, dipping her head in greeting to the other leaders. "Good evening," she mewed. "For those of you who don't know me, I am Robinstar of AspenClan."

Brambletooth paused at the edge of the congregation, looking around. Cherryclaw had been by his side just a moment ago, but a flash of russet fur told the deputy that she had disappeared into the crowd. Reminding himself that the young she-cat was no longer his apprentice, the large red tabby padding forward, looking for someone to talk to before the Gathering officially began.

Tanglestep strolled through the crowd, his bright gaze carefully analyzing all of the sights and scents. He wasn't looking for anything in particular, mostly just passing time until the announcements began. Still, he wouldn't mind a pretty she-cat to get acquainted with...

Sootpelt found the other medicine cats easily; all he had to do was follow the fresh scent of herbs. "It's very nice to see you all again," he mewed in greeting, seeming a bit distracted. "In case you don't yet know me, I'm Sootpelt. This is my apprentice's first Gathering." The young apprentice stepped forward eagerly. "Hi, I'm Speckledpaw! Sootpelt and I are from AspenClan," he purred with pride. Sootpelt nodded absently, his blue eyes searching for a certain medicine cat from BirchClan.

"I'm from ReedClan," Nutpaw commented, but before she could start prying for information another apprentice bumped into her. Annoyance prickled her fur, but when the apprentice snarled at her, her fur poofed up, clearly visible. "Hey, when you run into someone, the correct response is an apology," she snapped at Witheredpaw.

Briarstar was pleased by his fellow leader's smile, and he dipped his head to him. "The prey has been running well. We caught a huge fish just the other day." He mewed, keeping his tone steady. He flicked his tail to the ginger leader, asking, "Good to see you here. How has your clan been?"

blossompaw looked uncertain when both nutpaw and witheredpaw did not seem friendly toward each other. the she-cat apprentice took another step back to give them space in case they decided to fight it out. but hey! at least this would be exciting to watch.

She looked over at Sagestar when he came up to her to talk. The ginger she-cat relaxed as she realized that the tom wasn't being hostile towards her. "It's fine. I apologize as well, Sagestar. We should've tried to talk things out without resorting to fighting. Don't take full responsibility, it was both of our faults." Squirrelstar bowed her head to him. "And thank you, I know Otterstream would be pleased to hear you say those words."

Stagstep smiled, watching Witheredpaw as she snarled at another apprentice before returning to Pigeonpaw. "Pigeonpaw behaves really well, he's always spending time with Otterstream, trying to make her feel better. Witheredpaw is still getting into a lot of trouble. She left thorns in Smokespeck's nest, and she chased a fox kit the other day... I think she knows I'm not her father. She's always glaring at me."

Ramhorn nodded, a confused look on his face. "Yeah, it was Tumbleclan. I recognized the cats in the patrol." He mewed. "Why? Did something happen with you and Tumbleclan?"

Mossycreek mewed a goodbye, watching Sheepclaw as she left.

Rosie touched her nose to Rosepaw's ear. "As long as you try your hardest you'll be a great warrior, young one." She mewed. "Now, where is your brother?"

Poppypounce giggled, bowing her head. "Nice to meet you. It's an honor to meet the 'honorable son of Ravencoat.'" The dark red she-cat purred, her whiskers twitching in amusement as she raised her head.

Witheredpaw looked over her shoulder at Nutpaw, a devious smirk on her face before turning away with a hmph, her bushy tail kinking over her back. Pigeonpaw looked at Nutpaw, Bleakpaw and Blossompaw. "I'm sorry, she isn't in a good mood today." The black and white tom mewed before settling down next to his littermate. Witheredpaw flicked Pigeonpaw's ear with her tail, an annoyed look on her face.
