Lucien gave a sarcastic grin. "You certainly don't look any better than I do, sweetheart." he chuckled sarcastically, sending a glare straight back. Grabbing a tie from the counter, he fixed his hair back once again, looking to Vicente. "I may be gone for a bit. I'll leave around tomorrow night. I want you to make sure she goes nowhere." he said, sending another glare, albeit not as harsh as before.

Vicente gave a nod, knowing that Lucien was most likely going to kill Artyom. He could tell that Lucien had an attraction to Sigma, though he was unsure if it was merely because of her similarity to Allison. "Alright, Lucien. And, there's a bedroom to the right. Follow me." Vicente said, turning and walking down the hall as Lucien grabbed the towel, wiping up the blood on the drawer.

Sigma followed Vicente to the room, glowering in Lucien's direction. She wanted to shoot a sarcastic remark back at him, but she neither had the time nor the energy. She was spent for the night. As she walked into the bedroom, she thanked her lucky stars that it was patient Vicente who was staying behind. "How long will you be babysitting me then?" she asked, her expression rueful and a little amused at the mention of 'babysitting'.

Vicente gave a shrug as he opened the door, entering the bedroom as well. It was a medium sized room, lit with two dim candles. There was a dresser, and the bed, of course, along with two chairs in the corner. "Lucien shouldn't take long on this contract. If it's someone he wants to kill, he may take his time and have fun with his victim, or he may kill him quickly." Vicente spoke nonchalantly, as if they were simply discussing the weather. The golden amulet on his necklace glimmered beautifully in the candlelight, as did his crimson eyes. His skin was pale, beautifully so.

Lucien gritted his teeth as the two walked away, and he gave a tired so, his shoulders slumping. He'd never allow anyone to see him looking so defeated, of course. His pride wouldn't allow it. He gave a sigh, retreating to his room for rest. He needed to be ready to leave by tomorrow. He knew that Artyom was stationed somewhere around Kansas.

Sigma grimaced at Vicente's matter-of-fact statement. Disgusting. As dashingly handsome as these assassins were, they lacked morals-- deplorably so. She looked around the bedroom and then back to Vicente. "Well, goodnight I guess..." she said, offering him a weak smile. She atleast owed him that much.

Vicente gave a reassuring smile. "Don't worry about it. If you need anything, just call. I'll be in the main room, reading." he said lightly, turning and exiting the room, shutting the door gently behind him. he walked down the hall and into the main room, plopping down with his book. He was certainly determined to finish it.

Sigma plopped down onto the bed with a huff, causing the bed to creak in protest and then settle. As exhausted as she was, she couldn't get to sleep until well into the night. She couldn't stop thinking about Lucien and Vicente. When she finally drifted off to sleep, they were there in her dreams, ganging up on her to finish Lucien's job, just as she had expected all along. I knew it! She screamed angrily at them in her dreams. I knew you were just toying with me!

It was in the morning, and Vicente was curled up in the chair in the main room, open book still grasped in his hand, on the last page. It seemed as if he had finished his book, yet he had fallen asleep as soon as he had finished.

Lucien was awake in his room, and quite a shock that was, for it was quite early in the morning. He was feeling rather lousy. His shoulders were drooped forward, his back slouching. His hair was a mess, as he'd barely gotten any sleep last night. He had too much on his mind. Allison, Sigma, Artyom, emotions. It was practically too much for Lucien. Thus, he stood, not bothering to put a shirt on, and silently made his way to the kitchen. Unscrewing the cork on a wine bottle, he took a swig of the alcohol, giving a weary sigh.

[Falls]

Sigma snoozed on for a good hour longer than Lucien. When she finally woke, she did so quite reluctantly, groaning and cursing as she had a debate with herself on whether to get up or try to sleep more. Finally, she sat up, running her fingers through the knots in her short dark hair before standing and walking out of the bedroom.

Lucien took another swig, setting the wine bottle onto the counter, rather loudly. He leaned over the sink, giving a noise that was similar to a choked sob, though he wasn't crying.

Lucien Lachance did not cry.

His fist was clenched, his dark hair falling forward, covering his face. He felt angry, sad, confused, furious.

Sigma found Vicente in the main room, but she didn't have the heart to wake him. He looked so cute, sitting there with the book open on his lap as he slept. She looked behind her when she heard a noise, following it down the hall to the kitchen, where she found Lucien. Oddly enough, he looked rather destraught. She'd gotten so used to Lucien's tough act that this surprised her. She said nothing, studying him silently as she leaned against the kitchen doorframe.
