the she-cat was standing by within the huge crown of cats as her eyes was trying to find another medicine cat to talk to. since she is a witch doctor, she has always done healing within a more unique way instead of the normal clan way and she wishes to spend her teachings to more medicine cats around the forest. Olivedapple flicked her ears as she heard a new voice near her, making her turn her friendly gaze to see two new cat that seemed to be apprentices. one apprentice was look up at her wide-eyed meanwhile the other one seeming to be anxious. the calico gave them a kind smile before replying to the question she was asked. " that's right. I'm Olivedapple. "

The white-and-light grey young-chaser gave them a friendly grin back as she also introduce herself to the other two apprentices. " I'm Starlingpaw from Sparrowclan. " her eyes spotted another cat behind her, which she guessed was Duskpaw, and was eyeing her pretty warily but Starlingpaw didn't mind. she kept her focus on the other she-cat in front of her.

Skystar... was nervous about it, so he was just about to give her a forced smile when he realised he really didn't want to engage in conversation. The entire conversation was now forced. He forced himself to stay. Don't run away, don't run away... Skystar took a deep breath,
still reeling in terror that this was a thing that he had to experience. "Hello Lilystar... Skystar." He knew they were immediately enemies. "Didn't I see you last gathering Lilystar?"

Sunrise stood by the deputies, his permanent smile off but his eyes shining. His second gathering -he hoped- would be good. Just as he was thinking that he saw his leader cringing on the leader's rock and chuckled to himself, sending his leader a sympathetic gaze.

Windpaw noticed another apprentice coming nearby. A medicine cat apprentice. He breathed deeply to calm himself, and at one became shy and afraid. He edged closer but couldn't bring himself to speak.

Honeystar dipped her head in greeting when another tom joined their group. Her eyes had flashed when Houndstar said that he would kill any warriors found to be in forbidden relationships. She agreed with the new tom, in that it was a waste--and extreme overreaction. While she wanted to step between Houndstar and the other two toms, it wasn't her place. Clearly, they had started a conversation before she had entered, and it would be rude to interrupt.

"Congratulations," she said to Sweetstar, turning away from Houndstar. "Just make sure to have enough hunting patrols for them," she teased.

Duckpelt's fur bristled slightly when a large tom who called himself Snailstep came up to her. His voice was pleasant enough, she thought, yet there was something about him that she didn't like. But this was a Gathering, and a fight would be unacceptable. Forestclan couldn't look weak. "Hello," she said politely. "My name's Duckpelt of Forestclan. I'm filling in for our deputy, Birchnose. What clan are you from?" She cocked her head curiously. She had never seen Snailstep before, and so she supposed that his clan must be relatively new.

Dustleaf closed her eyes, wishing she didn’t have to be the bringer of bad news. “Crowcloud died in a fire a moon or so ago,” she whispered. “He sacrificed his life to save Dippercloud, the elder.” She took a shaky breath. How had Crowcloud handled the responsibility alone? “He would have wanted you to know, I’m sure. I know you talked most Gatherings.”

Adderstream chuckled. "That's...amusing," he said. "I'm sure that eventually, you'll find a clan matching the prefix of another cat. Sunsong," he said thoughtfully. "An interesting name. But," he said with a smile, "every clan has a different way of giving out names. Say, how old's your clan? Approximately," he said hurriedly. "Forestclan's getting a bit old. I think it's almost forty moons by now. And I'm almost thirty. I was part of the first litter to be born into the clan," he explained proudly.

Applenose followed Cloudmask's gaze, and saw the two apprentices. "Imagine if they were more energetic," he said with a smile and shake of his head. "You'd be running all over the Gathering, looking for them! Honeystar tells us to stay in sight of Leader's Rock," he said, "so that we can see if she leaves. That way, no one's left behind."

Gingerstorm spotted a tom, who looked around her age, sitting alone. She padded up to him and smiled. "Hi," she said warmly. "My name's Gingerstorm of Forestclan. What's your name?"

Hillfang's body heated up and she ducked her head, trying and failing to hide her smile. Juniperpelt was kind, sweet, and understanding. "Thank you," she said quietly. When Juniperpelt mentioned those seven kits, she laughed. "How'd they find mentors for them all?" she asked. "And, I'm well. Beyond the fire, most of us survived. Dustleaf found all her herbs, safe and sound--thank Starclan for that--while Mila and Nour have been fishing and hunting overtime to restock our prey pile. But they, along with Briarwhisker and Daisywhisker are the best hunters in the clan so no one's gone hungry."

Badgerpaw's eyes widened. "Really?" he asked. "What's his name? And did you know that moons and moons ago, there was a badger attack in our camp and our elders came out to fight?" His tail drooped for a moment. "Dawnstorm and Grayfur died in the attack, and Bramblebush and Acornstream died soon after. But I wasn't in the clan, yet," he said.

Fritillarypaw's ear twitched. "Yeah, but we're really lucky because we rarely run into predators. What was the battle like?" she asked eagerly.

Morningstar is open

Leading the clan into the gathering clearing, Morningstar leapt onto the Leaders’ Rock and took up his usual position, a little ways away from the rest of the leaders but where he could easily look over the entire clearing. Sitting down, the tom made himself comfortable to observe the gathering.

Woolyfur is open

Cloudpool + Dappleleaf are open

The gatherings were never as good without each other and it was no surprise Dappleleaf and Cloudpool were together. The calico she-cat faced the gathering, doing her best to hide what was left of her tail. While Caveclan was, for the most part, used to it by now, the other clans would more than likely stare. Dappleleaf could already feel the discomfort of so many eyes on her ruined tail. Atleast Cloudpool’s offered some comfort. His assurances that no one would notice made her feel a bit better, but who wouldn’t be so stressed if they were in Dappleleaf’s position?

Pinetail + Minkear are open

Cloudmask smiled softly. “In other circumstances, they might be. Duskpaw’s rather introverted though, he prefers staying home. I think he tempers Poppypaw’s outgoingness enough so that she’s not bouncing around everywhere but he’s not being a total recluse either.” The molly told him. “That’s a good idea. I think Morningstar just keeps an eye on where everyone is. Woolyfur too, so that way, they can find us pretty easily. And before we leave, we make sure everyone is present.”

“Nice to meet you Starlingpaw!” Poppypaw chirped happily. “I’ve never heard of Sparrowclan though, have you Duskpaw?” She asked the dark tabby tom, nudging him to get his attention. This was a gathering! The entire purpose was to be social and if Duskpaw wasn’t willing to, Poppypaw would just have to force him. Duskpaw shot her a slightly annoyed look, wishing for nothing more than to curl up in his nest but spoke up anyways. “No, I’ve only heard of a few clans, not including our border clans like Forestclan,” Duskpaw mumbled, glancing uneasily at Starlingpaw once more.

Skystar's eyes narrowed. Who did this tom think he was? They didn't seem that much alike, but it was already too much for her. The leader flexed her claws, making sure to show off the thistle-sharp things to CloudClan's leader. "Let me guess, you have a.. Vinescratch.. in your clan too?" Skystar meowed, half joking, half hoping he didn't. She chose one of her newer warriors, so there was a high chance that he didn't have a Vine- in his clan. She waited patiently for an answer, considering whether they should be allied or enemies.

"Nice to meet you." Another head dip. Sootcall noticed the ears go down, and he understood perfectly. The large groups of cats and the loud noises didn't sit well with him either. "How's clanlife going for you?" Sootcall asked, trying to make friendly conversation. SkyClan was currently on the brink of hunger, and he considered asking the other deputy for some help. Surely Skystar wouldn't mind, right?

"I might've." Vinescratch was confused at the sudden change of tone, but he just went along with it. He wouldn't, however, let the tom know of his past. Stonewhisker had been one of his old clanmates, and if he was known by someone else, that heavily concerned him. There was no way they could've been clanmates at one point - they would've remembered eachother if that was the case. Even though the tom seemed calmer now, Vinescratch left his claws unsheathed.

"And the toms?" Sloefur questioned, growing a little bit curious. The hesitation seemed to have an explanation behind it, and she wanted to know why. The deputy of SwiftClan seemed quiet, and she was determined to figure out what was up with him. That, and the state his clan was in. As a SkyClan warrior, she was determined to prove her worth, so acting as a spy could work out well. She'd be able to play it off by calling it flirting, or by saying that she genuinely cared about Maplestrike, which wasn't true. Sloefur wasn't a lover or a fighter; she was a player. As of now, her love belonged to Fernheart.

"Shut up!" Fernheart hissed to Falconwatcher. His eyes remained directly glaring at the one who shoved him, and his ears started to draw back. He completely ignored the two new toms as he kept his sight on him. "I'd be the one to finish he!" Fernheart shouted, launching for the fluffy black tom's side. He crashed into him, and Fernheart took the advantage to stand far from him, waiting for the tom to retaliate.

"And Bramblingflight had her kits." He mewed, a dark look flashing in his eyes for a moment.

Brindlecloud and myself would be glad to help you." He mewed, looking at the older she-cat. "Have you thought of taking an apprentice yet? Or are you going to wait?"

She mewed, sitting back on her haunches and curling her tail over her paws. "I got my own apprentice." She mewed, a proud look on her face.

"When our last leader, my mother, was alive she would be bringing prey to other Clans and coming to help fend off enemies before the other Clans even knew they needed it."

Lavenderpaw perked up excitedly when she saw two ginger Leafclan cats making their way towards her and her mother. She recognized the ginger tom as her father from the one time she got to meet him- when Brindlecloud took Tawnypaw to Leafclan and had brought Lavenderpaw along. "Hi!" She squealed happily when Tawnypaw greeted her. The tiny calico hopped in place, obviously not as skilled in containing her excitement as her sister was.

"Tawnypaw." She squealed, running in a circle around her littermate. Lavenderpaw let out a startled shriek when she somehow managed to trip over her own paws and land with a thud on her side.

Two warriors from our clan were out on patrol when they scented the fox. They came running back to camp to get help, and Flarestrike, who was only Flarepaw then, bravely volunteered to go help. He went with his mentor, our leader, our deputy and two other warriors. Our leader was about to kill the fox, but then a warrior tripped and fell on him. The fox seized it's chance and pounced, attacking our leader without mercy." she paused for a dramatic effect.

The medicine cat looked down at his paws for a brief moment, his head shooting up with an awkward smile a second later. "I didn't mean to startle you," he chuckled. His smile still remained crooked but his ears perked as he sat down next to her. "I'm Charredfern, medicine cat of Morningclan." He nodded silently to himself, he had only been at this clan for a moon since departing his old clan. The tom didn't really know how to continue the conversation, he was going to ask about her clan but he was unsure about it. "Uh, it sure is loud here," he mumbled quietly.

Brightpaw wore a bright smile acriss her face, her tail sweeping the floor in anticipation. "You are a witch doctor?" the tom behind her asked. It was meant to be more of a statement, but his words came out much more like a question. The other apprentice almost jumped out of her fur with excitement responding to his question. "Yeah! What's a witch a doctor?" They both looked up, their eyes now equally wide. The two apprentices waited almost patiently for her to answer, the loud talking of other cats not seeming to bother them.

Fritillarystar

She'd been so intent on glaring at Mintstar and Raggedstar that she'd not noticed another's presence bumping into her side. Fritillarystar allowed her blue-green gaze to travel over his dark pelt before she replied, with a calm dip of her head. ''I'm fine; I'm not frail.'' Fritillarystar murmured, blinking slowly. The tortoiseshell was not impressed by his clumsiness; no matter how polite he'd been in return. Even if the crowds could swallow a cat up and wash them on the wrong side of the gathering place, it was no excuse for bumping into a leader such as she.

''Who are you?'' Fritillarystar inquired softly. ''I haven't seen your face around here.''

''I'm Snailstep of Moorclan.'' he introduced himself, rolling Duckpelt's name over his tongue. The shaggy tom stared at the molly, bright eyes drilling through her; Snailstep could sense suspicion and mistrust rolling off her but that didn't concern Snailstep one jot. It was after all a gathering, a truce where all the clans could mingle without fear of raised claw or bared tooth. ''May I inquire why you are covering for Birchnose? Did something happen to them?'' Snailstep murmured, voice laced with sickly sweet sympathy.

With her spotted silver chest puffed slightly out in front of her, the leader strode past the throng of mingling cats as up to the large boulders reserved for only the leaders of the clan. Her expression remained stoic and hardened, piercing blue gaze sweeping shamelessly past the fellow leaders faces.

jaysong was resting upon his haunches, head turned around at the voices of other cats. Some, deputies like himself, and others, medicine cats or even warriors of other clan's. The grey-pelted tom doubted he knew any of them, however.

Bramblepool looked around at the other medicine cats that were near to him and his apprentice, soon landing on a molly who was glancing around. Trying to get her to notice the bengal, he wove his way past the others and let out a small mew of introduction.

Sorrelpaw huddled next to Bramblepool, watching his mentor's serene looks and trying to mimic them. The ginger tom looked out longingly to others apprentices, ones who were to be warriors, feeling a slight yearning to go and speak to cats his age. However, he was also fascinated by what the medicine cats around him were saying aswell. He watched him walk away, and followed him for a moment before pausing, fretting for a moment.

Spiderfang looked around, round orange-amber eyes scanning his surroundings. Many cats were around, some alone and others talking in big groups. He looked up at the leaders for a moment, wondering where Jaggedstar was in the large cluster. He noticed a molly that was near to him, and decided to go and speak with them. "Hello," The tom began in greeting, putting on a small smile.
