Lionstar heard a voice from beside him as he is getting settled among the other leaders. Parking up, he swivels his ginger-and-white ears to locate the sound and turns toward the cat nearest where he sits, a tom with brilliant green eyes. "Hello Skystar, I am Lionstar of Dappleclan." He dips his head respectfully in greeting.

For a time the tortoiseshell molly sat quietly watching the goings-on around her. A cat came and greeted the group, and the deputy replied in kind, before turning her attention to another female who had been sitting quietly since Raccoonmask had joined the gathering.

"Hey there," she said quietly. Not knowing any cats at the gathering, she wasn't looking for anyone in particular but thought this cat seemed fairly nice.

Frostwing approached the other medicine cats and saw a tom sending his apprentice off to meet the other clans. He felt young and foolish, not knowing anyone here and most of them having a few moons on him, but once the other cat was not occupied Frostwing approached him with a friendly head dip and the greeting, "Hello, I am Frostwing of Dappleclan."

Feathercurl saw a female sitting by herself and looking just as lost as she was. Nervously she approached the Molly and greeted her. While she had been afraid to make new friends, she found herself saying too much.

"Hello, I'm Feathercurl and this is my first gathering. I'm a bit nervous without my mate, Frostwing. Usually he and I go everywhere together but now he is sitting with the other medicine cats. Mind if I hang out with you for a while?

He stood, turning towards the LeafClan border, "You said that you're a queen? How many kits do you have?" He asked, smiling, "My kits are due next moon, and Snowflight and I can't wait to meet them."

The bob-tail smiled her thanks when the tom offered to show her the way back to the border, and her smile grew at the mention of kits. "Oh, that's exciting! - kits are always exciting. I have two, Silverkit and Daffodilkit," she mewed. "And I've actually been in the Clan for a while now. I just chose not to change my name when I joined."

"Yes, I guess my Clan is just more lenient when it comes to names. And I'm glad they are - I like my name very much the way it is," she chuckled softly. "Er... I came to the Clan expecting my kits, so I've never had a true rank like those. I have no experience with herbs at all, and I hate fighting, so I've been considering staying in the nursery as a permanent queen."

Isidora nodded. "It's a good idea, certainly. Say, if I could convince the medicine cats to teach me things about kitting, I could help the other queens, too," she explained. Sitting quiet a few moments, she suddenly realized they weren't getting any closer to the border. "Um..." she started, shuffling her paws nervously again, "should we get going? I can imagine some cats would be getting suspicious...."

''Well, I wish you luck.'' Smallwhisker smiled. ''Even if PineClan isn't yet an ally of my clan, I don't want to see you all frozen to death.'' She noted the thin grimace on the grey molly's face and sat closer to her; to keep her warm of course, it was something her mother had told her, something about body warmth. ''I wish you luck; in my clan, all apprentices have to learn basic healing!'' The tortoiseshell remarked, flicking her tail to and fro. ''Perhaps your clan could do the same? Saves time learning it as a warrior.'' Smallwhisker offered. ''As for the moors, it is hard; all we have is rabbit.'' She complained. ''Just for once I'd like to eat a nice plump mouse like I did back in my old clan; Tumbleclan.''
