My eyes widened as I stared at the creature that had stepped out. Licking my lips I watched Luka, I gasped as I was shoved away from him. I hit the ground heavily, and groaned rolling onto my back. Sitting up I rubbed my head, and looked around my vision a bit blurry. But I seen the creature come at me, and had enough time to dodge the attack. I rolled over onto my knees and stood up, leaning against a tree. I watched it make another blow to Luka and cringed at how painful it looked. And then the thing came after me again, and I was backed up against the tree. Taking a deep shaky breath, I opened my mouth, and screamed. Sliding down the tree and curling up, as I waited for the pain to come. But nothing happened. I looked up to see the boys from earlier, leading it away. But this time there was a third one with them. I sighed, before looking over at Luka. "Luka" I said crawling over to where he was. "Oh god, L-luka. Luka, look at me. Please..." I said. I placed his head in my lap and stared down at him tears in my eyes. Threatening to spill over.

➸ I could just barely hear her. Kat's voice. I was in a two way street, life and Death. One threatening to take over the other. I didn't really care if I lived or died then. I just... never wanted to forget Kat. Now would be too soon if I said I had feelings for her. That I loved her. But then again, now would be too late. I just risked my life to save her, and now I was payin' for all those lives I had taken, including my own. I know I had done some bad things, but if I had a choice between life and death, i'd choose.... life. I'd live because... well i'd have something to live for. I'd live for Kat, for Rosie, and for all those loves I took, i'd make up for. I'd live so I could protect Kat, I p'd live so I could see home again. And Maybe, those promises, are what did it.

I heard Kat's voice again, but getting louder, more clearer. I hadn't realized that I was breathing again, slow, shallow breaths. But atleast it signified life. I fought my way back, fighting every thought that suggested I should give up and die. And I made it. I coughed again. My hand clutched the loose dirt on the ground. I was breathing again, faster, deeper breaths. I, only after a few minuets, opened my eyes. Everything was terribly blurry. I couldn't see Kat's face well, but it was there. I could see tears, unshed tears. I took slower, more controlled breaths, before I slowly tested everything out. Yup, I was battered and beaten, but i'd survive. Besides, some wounds would heal by themselves, some, would need some extra help. I let a smile form on my lips, a weak one, but still a smile. I was alive, and that's all that matters to me.

I looked at Luka and sucked in my breath. His wounds were horrible, but that's not what I was worried about. I was worried about losing him, I couldn't. I know i've only known him for a while, but I just care so much about him. That if I lost him, I wouldn't have the will to go on. When I noticed he was breathing I let out a strangled sob. Smiling slightly, glad he's not dying on me. I rub his cheek with my thumb, and look down at him. Lowering my head I pressed a kiss to his fore head, and closed my eyes. "I though I was going to lose you" I muttered with a sigh. And opened my eyes looking at him again.

➸ I was finally able to talk. "I thought.... i was... going... to loose... you... to." I said, trying to breathe. It was hard, my chest hurt, and it was a pain to breathe and talk. I watched her, my eyes focused and adjusted so i could see her better. I coughed before attempting to sit up. I only sat up about half way, before collapsing again, gripping my chest. "Well... that... went well..." I mumbled wincing. My eyes darted around, before landing back on her. "Where's... that.. thing?" I asked, attempting to sit up again. I sat up, but i grimaced at the pain i endured doing it.

I watched him and caught him leaning him up against me, so he was half sitting. "Those boys from earlier, lead it off somewhere" I said. I looked down at his chest and sighed biting my lip. Nuzzling her face into the crook of his neck she sighed. "I'm glad your going to be fine.... your wounds will get patched up. And you'll be better in no time" I said sighing. I licked my lips, closing my eyes.

I watched him and caught him leaning him up against me, so he was half sitting. "Those boys from earlier, lead it off somewhere" I said. I looked down at his chest and sighed biting my lip. Nuzzling her face into the crook of his neck she sighed. "I'm glad your going to be fine.... your wounds will get patched up. And you'll be better in no time" I said sighing. I licked my lips, closing my eyes.

➸ I nodded slowly. I smiled and leaned against her, a bit, but not fully. "I wonder how their holding up..." I said, finding it easier to talk. Thank god that would was healing up. All that would be left was a nice scar. Yay... *enter sarcastic voice here* I looked at Kat. "I am too.." I said. I grinned, but that suddenly changed into a frown. "Nah, that won't be needed. I can patch myself up anyway." I said smiling. I winked and started to move and stand up. "Lets go find them. I'll manage. I'll be slow, but i'll keep up." I said, as i found my balance and started to walk slowly. Yeah, it felt better to sit down, but i'd have to get up and walk at some point.

I looked at him at shook my head slightly. I watched him stand up. "Luka, you shouldn't be standing up yet. Just give it a few more minutes please. I'm sure those boys are fine, they had a third person with them. Just don't move to fast" I said standing up also. I looked up at him and sighed. Glancing around, I knew he was going to go against me. And try to go anyway. So if he chooses to go, i'll go with him. But if he chooses to stay, and just relax give the wounds a bit more time. I'll stay, mainly where ever he goes. You'll find me.
