As Sapphire dived towards the sword-wielding pirate, Gill slammed the hilt of the sword backwards- once it was inches from her face, the reality around her reformed to its original state, with Gill, once again, aiming his blade at Amethyst.
Sapphire sat, complacently, pondering what next step of action to take.
After a short moment, she decided stabbing him seemed like quite the idea.
She drew her Ice Spear, and held it at the ready- counting the seconds until her attack.
A bright green light gradually formed around the tip of the sword- at that, Sapphire jumped into action.
She gracefully sailed through the air, spear at the forefront of her jump, and within moments the spear penetrated the side of his chest.
A deep, visceral hum reverberated around Sapphires mindscape.
Within moments, ruby red blood trickled from the wound, which was rapidly freezing as it made contact with the oxygen around it.
Gill's expression contorted into an empty, blank face- as the world around Sapphire vibrated, particles in the air dissipated.
A sharp, yet still drawn out, gasp came from around the room as the particles around Sapphire transmuted into a wispy fog, surging lazily backwards.
The once thick fog, still dwindling upon Sapphire's form, was lifted from the dazed perception of her reality, once again- she could see clearly. Almost.
You ignorant, pathetic, Zora. How did you, YOU, work your way out of my puzzle? I'm going to- Dark Zeph began his rant, angrily. He swiftly reached up, attempting to place his hand around Sapphire's arm- though when his hand made contact, a low bass-level noise resonated at the point. He was hastily repelled backwards.
For a brief moment, he displayed a look of completely disdain, before he regained his composure and locked eyes with Sapphire again. Someone's been busy. He said, as if he had the taste of metal on his tongue.
----------------------------
Oh, Alli. Zeph said, grinning yet again- outstretching his arms. In seconds, the assumed form of Ren began to waver, darkening, as if water was collecting on it. After a moment, pieces of wet cloth began to fall to the floor, with Dark Zeph's form back in his place.Well, at least I tried. Must you call me by his name?
Oh, well. He said, shrugging indifferently.
Oh, Allie. I can see it- The ignited rage you bury deep down, I can feel it. Zeph said, amused- stepping towards Shia as he speaks.
You can't even look at him. Wind howled in the distance outside the walls, causing an eerie noise to echo through the room.
Doesn't it feel beautiful? A work of art, only complete in the act. Anger, a pure- unadulterated, heated rage. You might not even know yet, but that will be...well, you'll see.
Now rage, anger...betrayal...Primal emotions, full of such meaning- a whisper from the god's.
But that's just it, isn't it? Goddesses don't speak in whisperers, they scream. He might only be 16, but his rage, his pure anger? Ancient, and timeless. We exist in unity, harmony. A fiery, cohabitation. Anger and I. You won't find us apart. But that's really the point, is it not? He may not have burned himself, but in the end, well- we all Burn.
And what about me?
Heh, well that I know a thing about.
I'm the arsonist. Dark Zeph said, a dark, twisted laugh, full of malice and intent rebounded around Shia's mind, as a dark flame ignited to life as a trail up his forearm.
