Amberstar sat with the other leaders proudly, his beautiful amber eyes glistening in the moonlight, he dipped his head to greet the leaders around him

Eaglewing padded over to the other deputies, he sat down and opened his jaws to introduce himself. "Greetings everyone, I am Eaglewing! Only a moon ago I was found by my clan" the tom meowed proudly, he looked around, starting to feel a bit embarrassed he could of just ruined actually important conversations with other deputies, he hung his head low.. trying not to be seen

Wolfmoon sat with the other medicine cats, staring up at the shining stars and moon.. almost forgetting the place he sat at.

Windflight

Windflight stood around awkwardly, trying to ignore the cats talking around her she noticed a tom, he seemed lonely.. at least in her eyes he did, she padded over and sat down.. although wanting to get up and curl up into a bush.. she took a deep breath and turned to meet his face, "Um.. Hello!" she meowed

Embersong gave a small chuckle as Windflight went to try to get up conversation, she sat close to the Leader's place, mainly watching her leader, Amberstar, but from time to time would shift her gaze to one of the older ones.

Itch looked around, thinking she was talking to someone else, but surprise sparked in the toms eyes as he realized she was talking to him. "Uh, hi." He sat up straighter, trying to look like a real warrior. "I'm Itch. Itch of Hopeclan. You are?"

"Oh, I'm Windflight of Badgerclan" she responded, she finally calmed down a bit. She sat there in a bit of silence before continuing the conversation, "So how is life in Hopeclan? We just got our deputy a few moons ago in Badgerclan" she mewed, wrapping her tail around her paws.

She slunk quietly into the gathering, slipping between cats and through shadows. Fritillarystar clambered tiredly up the steep high-rock and sagged beside another leader. Her cornflower-blue eyes shimmered in the moonlight and tiredness was visible in them but in her heart, duty reigned supreme. Turning loftily to her neighbour, Fritillarystar smiled charmingly. ''Evening, I'm Fritillarystar.'' She dipped her head politely. ''And you are?''

Skystar burst into the clearing, clover green eyes wide with hope of finding allies. He leapt on the rock but realised mid-jump that there wouldn't be enough space for him to land, so he hurriedly stopped himself. Somehow he landed safely (barely),
and was in the midst of the other leaders. Deciding he owed an apology to Tunnelstar, he walked up to him and dipped his head."I'm sorry for how I behaved at the last gathering, thinking you were a warrior," The white tom squirmed at his words. "If you could forgive me, would you like to be allies?"

Cloudyspots joined the throng of medicine cats again and wondered if she should talk to Wolfmoon again, but then she noticed he was engroosed in watching the sky so she dithered at the edge of the group like an exiled cat being cornered by their previous clanmates. She tried to spot Apsodelface but couldn't see him, so instead she looked at the cats around her blankly.

Meadowfern

Meadowfern had insisted on coming to the gathering, despite the fact that she was close to kitting. Emberblaze had clearly been trying to show he was all manly by helping her over every puddle. He just wanted to help, but it made her annoyed. Each time she had shown she was pleased, but thankfully Cloudyspots had noticed the annoyance in her eyes and eventually asked him if he wanted to know about gatherings.

Anyway, now Meadowfern was content, and decided to make some conversation. She thought she saw Tunnelstar and gave him an acknowledging ear flick, and the expression in her eyes clearly said she was sorry. Now she walked up to a she-cat, and introduced her self. "Hi, I'm Meadowfern of CloudClan. And you are?" she asked shyly.

Emberblaze lifted his head, green eyes blazing with hope. This was his first gathering, unlike his clanmates, and a scared feeling was creeping in. He lifted his head, and saw a tom nearby. he decided to introduce himself. "Hey, I'm Emberblaze of CloudClan," he then closed his mouth as he remembered Skystar had told him not to share too much, but he carried on and resumed the care-free expression in his eyes.

The silver tabby approached the place where the deputies were to gather with her head held high, as usual. Her piercing gaze found only one figure, ginger-and-white, sitting there. "Hello," she meowed calmly, just the hint of a smile on her face. "I don't believe we have met. I am Frigidrose, deputy of LeafClan. You are?"

"Oh, I gotcha. Many of my own Clan-mates tend to do the same," he mewed, "but where's the fun in that? Gatherings are supposed to be spent getting to know other Clans, not hiding." A chuckle ended his statement. Stormbreeze sat down, curling his tail neatly over his paws, and eyed the she-cat curiously as he awaited her response.

Ottershade's fur bristled and his eyes went wide with surprise when he was suddenly addressed. Realizing it was a friendly-seeming cat, he relaxed, in embarrassment lowering his head and gaze. He needed to stop his day-dreaming, it kept getting him into trouble. "Hi there. I'm Ottershade of LeafClan...." the chocolate tom trailed off, unsure of what he should say next. He had been to Gatherings before, but no one ever bothered to speak to him, and he certainly didn't approach anyone himself. "U-uh... how is your Clan? - CloudClan?"

Raggedstar flicked his tail irritably, trying to tune out Hemlockheart. It was moment like this when the ginger tom regretted making the Siamese tom his deputy. He constantly nagged him and questioned every decision he made. "Are you sure we should've brought Redfeather and Blazefur? They're getting a bit old to come to gatherings." Hemlockheart mewed.

The leader stiffened at the mention of his father. "No, Redfeather isn't old, especially Blazefur. Redfeather is barely in his fifties and Blazefur is only in his forties, Hemlockheart." Raggedstar snapped. "They're strong warriors and that's exactly what we need right now,
so I suggest you keep your muzzle shut." Raggedstar glared at him before leading the rest of the gathering patrol into the clearing.

Timberstar turned his gaze as another clan entered the clearing to see a leader trudging on with an irritated look in his eyes. Timberstar waited for the cat to come towards the leaders and split off from his clan before speaking. “You look tired, what happened?” the leader asked Raggedstar, tilting his head slightly with curiosity.

Birchfurturned her head slightly to glance at the grey tom that happened to invite himself to sit beside her. She lowered her paw she was licking to groom herself and turned to look more directly at him. ”Well perhaps... but my clan is very new and I have only been a warrior in it for barely a moon so it’s not like we can make any serious bonds anyways.” She retorted. She didn’t know what to say to the tom, especially since she wanted to stay quiet instead of keep the conversation Stormbreeze clearly wanted to prolong.

Raggedstar looked up, slightly startled that a new leader was speaking to him. He was use to the older leaders who had known him since he was an apprentice being the only ones to speak to him. "Oh, my deputy is just being a pain." Raggedstar mewed, looking over his shoulder to glare down at Hemlockheart, who had taken his spot at the base of the leader's rock.

The small leader padded into the gathering circle for the second time in her lifetime, this time with her deputy and hopefully medicine cat behind her, noticing a reassuring tail flicker from her deputy, that gave her the confidence to gracefully leap onto the rock without hesitations, she noticed what seemed to be Raggedstar and Timberstar talking to together, instantly shifting her attention towards them. Heh, brave...., hey why don't you go and approach them? shivering at that again, Lilystar padded towards the pair, but not before muttering "Go away, I'm at a gathering.." just loud enough to hear herself. "Hello Raggedstar of Echoclan and Timberstar of Fireclan, I believe...?" she said her voice going shaky near to end due to nervousness
