"Aren't you supposed to be asleep. You know, in your room?" Raven asked bluntly, folding her arms across her chest.

Finnian cowered a little."I couldn't sleep, so I left...please don't tell Bard..."He was wide-eyed with worry that he would be caught.

Raven rolled her eyes and nodded a little. "Fine, I won't tell Bard. But don't expect me to help you if he catches you." She murmured, unfolding her arms. She returned to watering the plants.

Finny sniffled and sneezed quietly."I'm sorry, I couldn't stand being unable to sleep any longer."

"I get that feeling swell." Raven replied in a monotone, moving around the garden with the sheers, taking away the odd branch that dared grow out of line on the bushes.

[yttd]

Finny did his best to help, snapping branches as opposed to using shears. He tucked untidy branches back into the bushes, praying Sebastian didn't find out he had done it.

"I'll tell Sebastian that I couldn't be bothered to sort it out properly, and that I'll do it again later." Raven spoke, burying the sheers deep into the soil.

Finny smiled and he looked incredibly grateful. He sighed happily and crossed his legs as he sat down on the floor.

"Just try not to get yourself seen, alright? You know how often Sebastian walks past windows overlooking the garden." Raven murmured, snipping away at dead leaves, and pulling out the branches Finnian had pushed back into the bushes.

Finny nodded obediently. "Yes ma'am!"He chanted with the same obedience.
