"Yesss," Adonis grinned with delight when he saw the flashing lights and cool, dark home of the arcade games. A little tremble of excitement ran down his spine as he remembered all his favorite characters, just waiting for him beyond those doors. He marched up, grabbed the handle, and held it open for Medve, grinning from ear to ear as he heard the noises of the games inside and the cries of delight as the other dragons inside won.

Medve smiled, "Thanks," she said, walking into the huge arcade. "I've only been in here once, when I was thirteen. I didn't know English, and it was really hard for me to understand what was going on," Medve said to Adonis with a laugh, "I only knew Hungarian," she added. "Wow, it looks a lot different from what I remember," she whispered to herself.

"There's a lot of new games," Adonis agreed, as he stepped inside, his eyes hungrily roved over the consoles, he looked almost as excited as a child in a candy store. He tried to imagine a younger Medve roaming around the arcade, confused but charmed by the games, and found it a lot easier than he had thought. One game in particular drew his eye: it was an old Pac-man one, covered in dust, but with the blinking lights brighter than ever, the decals perfectly preserved.

Medve looked around, none of them looked like some of those thata she played when she was younger. She instantly thought about her two older brothers, making jokes about the gamed and how odd Amreica was, and then her shy older sister not wanting to play a single game, she thought it might explode on her or something. Medve smiled thinking about them, then shook her head when she heard a male's voice. "Why, hello there," the male said. Medve turned around, expecting it to be one of her brothers, only to find a male that she never met before. "H-hi?" Medve said out of surprise. "Why, you are quite beautiful, I must say," he said with a smile. "T-thanks?" Medve didn't know what to really say. "How about you come with me?" he asked. "I have a boyfriend...." Medve said, backing away a little.

Adonis heard the male and while at first he didn't want to be the overly-protective boyfriend -- especially because he knew Medve was capable of some serious butt-kicking if needed -- but he felt the fur on his back begin to stand up, and before he knew it, he was bristling and turning to the male with a sharp warning in his eyes. "Hey," He said rather firmly, stepping in front of Medve, like a roadblock, "Back off, buddy. She's taken." He swished his tail back and forth, his gem glinting dangerously in the low lights of the arcade.

Medve was glad that Adonis was there, because even though she was a black jewel, she didn't think she could hurt anybody. "Yeah, and she's my little sister," Medve heard a deep male's voice, Hungarian acccent deep as his voice. Medve's heart stopped as she turned around to see her eldest brother standing there. Medve then began to speak Hungarian out of excitement.

Adonis was surprised to hear her switch languages so easily -- at home, Lucy sometimes would attempt to confuse him with her French, but even then it sounded a little.. off. He had to remind himself that English was not Medve's first language, no matter how smoothly she spoke it, or how at home she looked here. His eyes widened a little as he heard the second male speak. Medve had never told him about her siblings.

The other male's eyes widened at how tall Medve's brother was, and walked away like nothing even happened. "You learned English!" Medve said with a laugh and a smile. "Yeah, it was pretty hard, though," he replied, looking over at Adonis. "So, this is your boyfriend?" he asked. Medve nodded, "Yeah," she said looking up at him. He nodded, "Ah. My name is Micheal. You can call me Mike," he said to Adonis.

"Uh, nice to meet you, Mike." Adonis replied slowly, still looking slightly confused, but he was figuring it all out on his own. "I'm Adonis." He felt himself trembling slightly, he wanted to make a good impression on Medve's family. In his mind, he remembered the story that his name had originated from, reminding himself that a man named Adonis was brave, loving, courageous.

Mike nodded, glancing over at Medve who was smiling, "I see you have changed a lot," he said which made Medve frown and look at the ground. He then held out his paw for a handshake from Adonis. Medve sighed softly, remembering that Mike was always thinking he was better than the rest of them, her other brother very nice, slightly protective, a blast to be around, and then her sister who was shy, fragile, but very nice.
