Skystar suddenly heard some mewing next to him, and turned to see a new leader upon the crowded rock. As she introduced herself, he heard the nervousness in her voice. He smiled sympathetically, knowing how she felt. However, he did not feel nervous with the sky above him, so he replied confidently, "I am Skystar of CloudClan, nice to meet you Lilystar," He saw another leader hovering nearby as if they were waiting for Lilystar. "Are you a new leader as well? This is my first gathering." His clover green eyes scanned her face for a moment. He really wanted to look up and see the stars again. "Sky's bright, isn't it?" He blurted out suddenly, followed by a stifled purr of amusement as he realized he couldn't help talking about the sky.

Skystar turned to Sweetstar, leaving Lilystar to speak with Oakstar. "I am Skystar of CloudClan. Are you a new clan as well?" His eyes brightened, and his ears pricked waiting for a reply. His green eyes glowed with warmth s he thought he could get an ally.

Cloudyspots gazed at the tom for a moment, before hearing another medicine cat mew something. She slowly made her way towards him, plumy tail high with confidence. "Hello Wolfmoon, I am Cloudyspots..." She began, confidence faltering. Her amber eyes nervously scanned his face. "Strange to be surrounded by other medicine cats isn't it?" She said, ears twitching as she heard conversation around her.

Meadowfern

Meadowfern scanned the clearing, eyes bright. She noticed a few cats not joining in the conversations like her. She walked up to one of them, and smiled softly. She was naturally kind, so she resolved to help. "Hi," She said quietly, like she knew the she-cat.

Sweetstar nodded confirmation, "I am." He agreed, "SwiftClan only has one member so far, but I am hoping to change that soon." He cocked his head. Something about this cat's scent was vaguely familiar, "CloudClan you say? Where is that?"

The orange tabby’s gaze rested on the warriors Honeystar had indicated a moment before looking back at the Forestclan leader. “Ashstrike is back at camp.” He told her. “Besides the badger attack, how has Forestclan been faring?”

The pair sat close together, Harespring’s dark grey fur and Juniperfoot’s tabby pelt pressed together as the pair enjoyed each other’s company. It had been several moons since they’d become mates and they were enjoying every moment. Except, perhaps, Shimmerpelt’s nagging. Shimmerpelt knew the pair eventually wanted kits but not so soon. Even so, she continued to ask them whenever she got the chance about it. Any mercy they got meant Shimmerpelt was talking to Sedgetail about becoming mates with Burrwhisker. And even though they felt for Sedgetail, both Juniperfoot and Harespring we’re relieved to have a bit of time alone together. Purring softly, they observed the gathering, one eye kept on the apprentices, since they’d promised Thymepool they’d help watch them.

Cloudmask is reserved for Applenose(Forestclan)

“Ours runs too fast in most places to be frozen over.” Cloudmask replied. “It’s only usually down in our southern territory that the water freezes over so we’re able to fish all year round.” She told him. “All we have is snow as well. It’s beautiful but we need to be especially careful about the river. Only fishing, and that’s only if we have to. Morningstar doesn’t want anyone falling into it.”

After crossing a great deal of land and more natural barriers than he cared to count, a pale ginger tom was sitting in the midst of his first clan gathering since back when he was an apprentice, years ago.

He no longer has one of his parents or his mentor to watch over him and for this reason, he feels somewhat on guard. Were any of these cats even his neighbors? He couldn't quite remember what clan lay at each of the territories side's. Anyway what would they think of him, the self proclaimed leader of - currently - nothing?

Lionstar is very embarrassed to be attending his first clan gathering as leader without a deputy or even one single clan member by his side. He has heard of clans with more than forty members and feels vulnerable, even without being able to outright guess the number of cats in any one group.

Fidgeting nervously, he tries to sit a little straighter and look respectable.

Prey is running well, and we anticipate our apprentices to earn their warrior names by the time newleaf comes around." She sighed. "Nothing else has been happening, but perhaps I should be thankful."

Birchnose wandered at the edge of the deputies' crowd, before finding a cat sitting alone on the outskirts of the crowd. She padded up to the other, who was revealed to be a molly according to her scent and sat down next to her. "Hello," she said politely. "I'm Birchnose of Forestclan. And you are?"

Crowcloud stiffened. He had never heard of a leader losing all nine lives, although perhaps that was simply because Forestclan was still relatively young. "Oh," he said softly. "I'm sorry." And he truly was. While he didn't know Squirrelstar at all, he presumed that she had been a good leader. Possibly even had a blood family to mourn her. "May she rest in Starclan."

"I can't blame Morningstar," said Applenose. "We've had a couple near misses during newleaf when the river swells, but no one wants to chance it during leafbare. And the snow is beautiful," he said thoughtfully. "What's your favorite part about the snow?"

Dandeliontail noticed a tom from another clan walking towards the clearing, and he wondered if he should go meet the other. It was his first Gathering, and Daisywhisker had stayed back with Briarwhisker (who everyone was sure would become his mate soon), both to mourn and to let those who hadn't experienced the Gathering too many times go. Well, this was a time to meet those from other clans, the warrior thought, so why not?

Dandeliontail padded up to the tom, tail twitching with nervousness. "Umm, hello?" he said quietly. "I-I'm Dandeliontail of Forestclan. What's your name?"

Hillfang gave out a quiet oof as she stumbled forward. She was about to give the other a piece of her mind when she saw the gray-and-white tom give a sheepish apology. She blushed. He was cute, and the way that he had apologized so quickly mollified her. "Don't worry," she said with a small laugh. "I get that enough from my own clanmates. Say, what's your name? I'm Hillfang. Hillfang of Forestclan."

Amberstar looked over to a new leader joining in, they seemed to be the only cat in their clan, "Umm, hello there!" he mewled to the tom, "I understand how having a small clan is, I only have a warrior and a medicine cat so far" he meowed, he looked over to Wolfmoon and Windflight, surprised Windflight was just sitting around, he always thought of the she-cat to actually want to talk to cats.

Wolfmoon looked over to the cat speaking to him, "Yeah, it is strange.. one minute your the only cat with these abilities, next minute your surrounded by cats like that" he meowed, he took another gaze around the cats, he looked over to all the leaders, "Must be strange for the leaders too.. surrounded by cats who have the same power over a clan" he mumbled, not really trying to be heard by others.

Cloudmask nodded quietly. “Very.” She agreed. “The cold’s nice but whats even better is some of the clan love going to a part of the territory where the ice is the thickest to play games.” She told him. Cloudmask had joined the clan early that year so this would be her first time joining her clanmates for the games on the ice. “It’s going to be alot of fun.” Not only was it fun, but it was good training and reinforced the clan’s bonds. “What’s yours?”
