With calm and measured strides, the young medicine cat trotted calmly over a fallen pine tree; lingering for a moment on it's frosty bark to quietly get her bearings in this new territory. Smallwhisker knew that she was in the presence of another clan's territory and experience taught her that it paid to be cautious. Ears pricked, the petite cat leapt off the log and briskly trotted through the cold shadows. A flicker of movement caught her eye and the sight of a young grey molly set her fur bristling; no doubt that this was one of the cats of the clan she'd scented and Smallwhisker was right on their territory.

As Orchidnose carefully strode closer to the unfamiliar border, she was brought attention to the same scent that caught her intrigue earlier, only this time she noted it was more distinct and strong - like it belonged to an individual cat rather then an entire Clan like before. Her ears now stood high and alert and her vision caught the sight of a ginger-and-black coat out of the corner of her eye, the thought of an invader had her tail bristling from fear, but as she turned to face the intruder she saw that they seemed just as nervous as she did. Orchidnose decided not to let her nerves take over and decided to ask the new cat what she was doing here. " Excuse me, but what business do you have on PineClan territory? " She asked with both calm and authority.

Eyeing the nervous grey molly, Smallwhisker felt a little more calmer; the warrior was just as young as she and inexperienced evidently. Thanking Starclan for this little mercy, the medicine cat dipped her head politely. ''Exploration; seems pretty interesting, or at least it could be.'' Smallwhisker replied truthfully, gazing up at the pines; listening to their leaf-song as a gentle breeze from the hills of Moorclan shook their branches. Nightclaw had always told her to never let a rival know your fear, lest they use it against you; and besides, she thought, looking at Orchidnose, there really wasn't any reason to be afraid. ''I guess this is your territory; apologies for kind of walking all over it.''

Raggedtail paused at the top of the slope that led down into the clearing, his ears flattened back against his head.
Brindlecloud moved next to him, touching her shoulder to his. "Raggedtail, I know it's tough but we have to go down there eventually." She mewed softly to him. The ginger tom watched the other Clans as they moved around the clearing below for a few more moments before looking at Brindlecloud.

"What if I mess up? I don't know how to do this without Squirrelstar." He mewed. Brindlecloud's eyes glazed over slightly at the mention of the dead leader.

"None of us do, Raggedtail. We all have to take it one pawstep at a time. Now, you are going to walk down into that clearing. You are Echoclan's leader now and it's time the other Clans knew." Brindlecloud gave a determined nod. Raggedtail nodded back before giving the order to head down into the clearing.

Raggedtail and the other Echoclan cats entered the clearing, dispersing once they reached the center. The ginger tom bunched his legs beneath him and jumped up onto the gathering rock. He looked around anxiously for a moment before settling back on his haunches and curling his tail over his paws.

Brindlecloud settled in the shadow of the gathering rock where the other medicine cats usually gathered. She tucked her paws under her chest, staring at the grass beneath her. The dilute calico looked up briefly to check on Raggedtail, her eyes narrowing slightly at the tom.

Squirrelstar should still be up there... It's all my fault... If I had been able to save her before, she would've had three lives when she went to help Soulclan, not one...

The journey to the gathering spot had been tough, but to Oakstar, it was worth it. She was only worried about her territory. What if someone took over? “No,” she'd thought over and over again. “I shall not allow clan nor loner to take my turf.” And she wouldn't. She was hoping she could find 3 more people to border Oakclan this gathering, as well as get some alliances, especially with those near her borders.
Finally they arrived.
“I need to make allies with Cherryclan’s leader. Let me know if you see her!” Oakstar said to her worn-out followers. “I think she may be alone. Being only one cat, she will need our help. Big-time.”

"Emberstar, I told you - you must stay in the camp! Otherwise your whitecough will surely worsen," Willowcloud tried to reason with the leader. The spotted tabby stood before her, lashing her tail, ears turning back. "And I told you that I am still a capable leader." "Please, just let Frigidrose go in your stead. She's done so before. You don't need to risk a life over such a matter." Emberstar's answer was a hiss, but it turned into a brief fit of coughing. She turned her back on the medicine cat and proceeded to lead the group that was to attend the Gathering out of the camp. With a slight sigh, Willowcloud fell into step with the rest of the group, bringing up the rear beside Appleheart, wondering what in StarClan's name had happened to their beloved leader.

Due to Emberstar's slight outburst before the LeafClan group left camp, Appleheart arrived at the Gathering appearing a bit shaken or worried. However, when he found Brindlecloud already in the clearing, his spirits lifted. "Hey Brindlecloud," he purred as he hurried towards her and licked her cheek. Quickly he noticed her downcast expression. "Is everything alright?.."

The mostly white molly peaked at the gathering place, there didn't seem to be that many cats there, but large enough to know they were and actual clan. Lilystar looked back, did she even belong here? She had requested a deputy a few days earlier, maybe they would be there when this was finished. Then again, she looked like a loner, to these clan cats, without a clan to go with, but she had her nine lives. It would go fine...

Lilystar padded slowly into the gathering area, her steps light as if she was on edge by the surroundings, despite knowing perfectly well that this was time of truce between the clans, she glanced up at the leaders already there, before backing away a bit, maybe she should just watch, it would certainly be easier for her.

Sighing to herself quietly as she padded forward again, hesitating as she looked at the gathering rock, it was a lot bigger than what she had expected, I guess Starclan wasn't lying when they said there would be a lot of clans already when they made me a leader,

The orange tabby tom confidently led his clan into the clearing, his gaze sweeping the clearing before he leapt onto the Leaders rock, his gaze drawn to Raggedtail curiously. Where was Squirrelstar? Acknowledging the tom’s presence with a small nod, he let his gaze scan the clearing once more.

The pair sat close together, Harespring’s dark grey fur and Juniperfoot’s tabby pelt pressed together as the pair enjoyed each other’s company. It had been several moons since they’d become mates and they were enjoying every moment. Except, perhaps, Shimmerpelt’s nagging. Shimmerpelt knew the pair eventually wanted kits but not so soon. Even so, she continued to ask them whenever she got the chance about it. Any mercy they got meant Shimmerpelt was talking to Sedgetail about becoming mates with Burrwhisker. And even though they felt for Sedgetail, both Juniperfoot and Harespring we’re relieved to have a bit of time alone together. Purring softly, they observed the gathering, one eye kept on the apprentices, since they’d promised Thymepool they’d help watch them.

Cloudmask is reserved for Applenose(Forestclan)

The young molly was quiet as the clan spread out among the other clans. Being here, at her first gathering since Aspenclan was odd and made her remember her time among them. Crouching at the edge of the clearing, the molly looked around, half wondering if she’d see one of her former clanmates.

The she-cat flinched as the sudden approach, of all things she expected this was certainly not one of them, after processing what just happened she finally answered, "Ok, you're Oakstar correct? Leader of Oakclan?" She wanted to be sure she got the correct cat, nodding her head at the other leader, she had decided to perhaps become apart of this gathering, instead of being a spectator. With one swift leap the white cat had landed on the gathering rock, anxiously waiting the arrival of the other clans.
