Nimbly, the black tom bounded toward the leader's rock, feeling confident. He was sure this gathering would go better seeing as he was older, wiser, and had more of a mission. He leaped up onto the rock, finding a comfortably place to settle himself while looking around for one leader in particular: Tempeststar, of Tempestclan. Flintburr had specifically asked him to talk to the leader and see if arrangements could be made for the old tom to be able to visit his son every now and again, and Badgerstar was always excited to make a new friend!

The bulky black tom crawled atop the root of a large tree to give himself a better vantage point of the gathering. Having missed the last one, Flintburr was desperate to find Freckleheart from Tempestclan, and ask for news of his son, Halfkit. He wondered if he was even still a kit, or whether he was old enough to become an apprentice now. A pang of sadness shot through him as he realized that he wouldn't be able to see him grow up, but he shook it away, looking for the familiar pelt of the young tom who had promised him frequent news.

Maplefall cheerily wandered through the crowd of the gathering, still in awe of how many cats gathered in one place. Due to Acornstream's recent birth, their group of cats were small. They were missing Goldleaf as she'd stayed behind to keep an eye on the kits, and many were excited to stay and help. She, on the other hand, was excited to meet some new cats from other clans at the gathering! She sat down carefully and draped her tail over her paws, the small calico looking this way and that for someone to talk to.
