“Will you please? That would make me feel a lot better about everything...” Luke said to him.

"Of course." he said, he kissed him deeply before he headed out to the backyard, he shifted and headed out to Tess's temporary, hopefully, home. He would be able to hear better, in case something happened, he was hoping she'd be safe.

Tess was in the house. The woman spoke to her. Tess listened but not much. “So, Tammy, how long until I can go home?@ she asked. The woman sighed. “Tessa, we want this to be your home.” She said. Tess sighed. “My names not Tessa. Plus, my dads aren’t here so it is not home. Plus what about my dogs?” She asked.

Jaxon laid down and listened, hiding in some bushes, he was worried about her, he hoped that she would be okay, that she would be happy, with them, or someone else.

“Tessa, those are Luke’s dogs. They have to stay with him.” She said. Tess was getting angry. “My name is Tess! Coconut is my dog! My mom got her for me and now she is gone and they are all I have!” She said and threw a marker at the wall. It left a mark on the wall. “Tessa! Time out.” The woman said and put her in time out. Tess was very mad.

Jaxon whined soflty as he listened, he didn't like this at all, she was so upset, even throwing a tantrum.

Tess sat in time out and looked out the window. She did not like it here. She got up from the chair and then she ran around the house. She tripped over a stack of books because she looked back to see the woman behind her telling her to stop running around. She started crying and grabbed her head. The woman picked her up and she took her and got her ice. She set her on the counter holding the ice on her head. Tess was still upset. “Tessa, you need to calm down.” She said. Tess frowned. “No.” She said and pulled away. She got down and walked away from her.

Jaxon sighed softly, it seemed they were nice enough, but Tess was fairly upset at being in a new place after all that happened, and that worried him, he hpoed they hadn't really hurt her by protecting her so much.

Tess went and colored with her markers in her coloring book on the floor. She sighed as she colored. She did not want to be here. She wanted coconut. She missed her dads. They were so nice to her. She could not help but be attached to the people who saved her. She colored quietly. “Maybe dada will have a tea party with me tomorrow.” She said. The woman sighed. “I would love to have a tea party with you now dear.” She said. Tess looked at her. She reluctantly agreed. She went and made tea for them. Tess did not really like real tea.

Jaxon reamined outside and listened to them inside the house, he was just going to be keeping a watch on her, since he sis care about the little girl.
