ShadowFlight wove through the huge group of cats, his ears pricked for information that might help his clan. He paused suddenly, glancing back at SweetPaw, who had been following him dutifully. "SweetPaw, this is your first gathering, I'm sure that you are eager to explore. Go enjoy yourself." SweetPaw beamed, then disappeared into the crowd.

[i know that this is premature, but i have to leave for work. so after announements are all done Jinxclan will just leave the gathering and head home. i will no longer be online, so please do not try to talk to my cats, just so no one gets held up waiting for them.]

"Oh, that is nice. Sorry to seem presumptious. My clan had a few cats that had to be left behind as well for various reasons." He said, his eyes starting to glitter at the thought of why Willowbolt was left behind.

"Prey is running very well, and we are growing stronger and larger everyday." He responded, thinking of the new litter and Skydapple's kits back at camp.

Jinxstar fell silent as he looked at the other leaders and waited for his turn to make his announcements.

Brindlethorn jumpe when the cat approached him and started talking.

"No, it is our second." He said simply before looking up at the leaders as they called for silence for announcements.

Velvetrabbit gave up on trying to find Rowanpelt, she sighed and sat in a corner to watch the rest of the cats.

Flintshade saw that the other cat was not interested in talking, so he went to join Velvetrabbit and wait for announcements to be over.

Tanagerpelt and Barkclaw

Barkclaw smiled at her response, very appropriate yet with just enough vague details to leave you wondering.

"That is great, our clan is huge. We have three kits, just welcomed a new litter today, and have another litter on the way!" Tanagerpaw said, showing how obvious it was that she wanted kits.

Barkclaw shook his head at her, a small smile on his face.

"Our prey is running beautifully as well. We will have more the enough to sustain all our members." He said.

Barkclaw sighed as he heard the call, "Sorry, got to go." he said as he led Tanagerpelt away from the others to join Flintshade and Velvetrabbit.

Sagestar

He breathed a sigh of heady relief. Sagestar was glad that Squirrelstar had the heart to forgive, but perhaps not forget, he thought. Flicking his tail, Sagestar smiled at the golden tabby. ''Then tell Otterstream that I said that.'' He replied, before turning to the other leaders. ''I am Sagestar of Tumbleclan, and if any of you are in need of allies or assitance, Tumbleclan is here!'' he exclaimed, sitting upright, despite being so tired.


Greynose

''Calm down...we won't hurt you, Brindlethorn.'' Greynose replied, his voice calm and collected. ''I do hope your deputy's kitting goes well!'' He murmured. ''The birth of kittens is always exciting, and good for the clan.'' Greynose pointed out.

Ravenflower

She nodded slowly in understanding. ''I was waiting for you.'' Ravenflower murmured. ''But no hard feelings!'' She smiled softly at Littleglow. The medicine cat sighed. ''A kitten in Tumbleclan died, a moon ago...we've been just as busy, it was our first death.'' Ravenflower explained. He'd shared some information, it was only right that she did the same back. ''Addertooth was distraught!''

Swanfoot

''Swanfoot, of Tumbleclan.'' She replied, smirking. Curling her white tail around her paws, Swanfoot cocked her head, and could not help but beam at the twosome. ''You are certainly flatterers.'' She noted, her green and blue eyes shimmering with thought. ''..Funny, I use that to create havoc.'' Swanfoot added, flicking an ear. ''Why did you want us to meet?'' she inquired, after quite some time. Swanfoot had the feeling this was fate. It was going to happen.

Burrwhisker and Sootmask

He perked up at the sight of Sedgetail, smiling at the beautiful tabby. ''Hey, Sedgetail!'' he mewed. ''This is my sister, Sootmask, and who's this cat with you?'' Burrwhisker inquired. Sootmask glowered at Sedgetail, was this why he kept running off? She thought, lashing her tail. ''Burrwhisker, you have a lot of explaining to do.'' She hissed bluntly. Burrwhisker shuffled his paws uncertainly. ''How are you, Sedgetail?'' He asked, trying to ignore his sister.

Blacknose

Her heart swelled at the sight of Oakstream, Blacknose had thought she was never going to find him ever again and that he'd been merely a spirit from starclan. Oakstream looked handsome in the moonlight, Blacknose noted with interest. ''O-oakstream...'' She whispered, padding up to him. ''I would nuzzle you, but everyone would see...'' She whispered into his ears.

Bleakpaw

He almost did not notice Blossompaw, and very nearly strode on without another notice. ''I'm Bleakpaw, of Tumbleclan.'' he murmured, flicking an ear. The grey and white apprentice looked at Blossompaw with disguised interest. Any such love for her was improbable, after their clans weren't allies! ''How's your gathering going?'' Bleakpaw asked, flicking his tail.

Rosepaw

She couldn't help but laugh, Rosepaw thought Rosie was a very kind cat, and that her tales of Foxtail were really intriguing. She had plenty of good things to say about the elder. ''No wonder that my dad fell in love with her!'' She chirped, beaming brightly. ''I don't know where he is though...'' Rosepaw admitted. ''But I won't let that get me down, I'll be as strong as your daughter!''

chestnutstar perked up slightly when another leader addressed her. she turned her gaze to peer over at stonestar, leader of brookclan. "obsidianclan is doing very well. we are still a new clan, but we are a strong bunch. how is brookclan?" she inquired, deciding it would be the appropriate thing to ask the tom about his clan since he had asked her about obsidianclan. briefly, her gaze turned to squirrelstar when the she-cat inquired if her clan had moved in to the south of her clan. "yes, obsidianclan shares a border with you." she responded, giving a small nod of her head. since their borders were connected, she decided it would be best to ally with echoclan. she definitely did not want them to be enemies. she only hoped that the other clan would accept her offer.

bristleclaw sat at a distance, his eyes glued to his leader and mate, chestnutstar. he tried to read her lips as she spoke to the other leaders, but he could not make out the words. he did not have much of a motive to talk to others.

palenose gave a small hum to himself when the she-cat gave him yet another glance. did she want to speak to him? maybe after the announcements he would be able to meet her. for now, she had her duty as a leader to speak to the other clans. however, he could not help but watch her. perhaps he should be focusing on his leader, but this she-cat from petalclan interested him.

blossompaw flashed a smile to the tom who noticed her. "it's a pleasure to meet you, bleakpaw." the she-cat purred, gazing over at the apprentice from thumbleclan. "oh, i think it's going well! i've never been to one, so i guess i wouldn't really know if it's going well.. hmm. is this your first gathering too, bleakpaw?" she inquired, a curious look in her eyes.

frecklepaw gave a nod of his head when the felines introduced themselves. "nice to meet you. i'm guessing this is your first gathering? i recently just joined obsidianclan.. chestnutstar found me." he explained, a shy smile on his maw.

crowfall and hawkeye sat together and spoke of the gathering. "there are so many clans here.. it's amazing." she murmured, her gaze sweeping the forest as she took in all the other clans. "we have a lot of competition, hmm?" he mused, a chuckle escaping him.

ShadowFlight padded quietly through the gathering, his ears catching snippets of conversation as he did so. He looked at each group carefully, trying to divine which was the group of deputies, if there was one.

SweetPaw darted around the gathering, in awe of the sheer number of cats present. She realized that there had to be apprentices somewhere. "Maybe if I can find someone my age, we could practice together!" She said excitedly to herself, dashing off again to try and find apprentices.

Attending: Troutstar, Silverwing, Deerstep, Acornpounce, Nutpaw, Tumbleflight, Smokepaw, Cloud-dapple, Iceberry, and Littleglow

Litteglow's heart sank when Ravenflower told him she had waited for him. He imagined how he would feel if he waited and waited and she never showed. "I'm sorry," he told her earnestly. When she told him about the kit, he let his tail gently rest on her back in a comforting way. "I'm sure he's doing well in StarClan," he offered.

Nutpaw continued to lurk, but finally decided to try to test out the other Clans. She wanted to know their weaknesses, and she certainly wouldn't learn them by hiding in the corner. "Hey," she meowed as she walked up to an apprentice from another Clan, using an upbeat meow for the first time in...well, pretty much forever. "I'm Nutpaw," she introduced herself. [ Talking to Nutpaw. ]

i literally put "talking to nutpaw" rip i meant bleakpaw!

She smiled, and nodded slowly. ''I forgive you.'' Ravenflower would never hold anything against another cat. In a sense she'd been selfish, not taking into account the troubles of other clans, so she could forgive the tabby for his hardwork and dedication to Reedclan. She nearly tensed when Littleglow rested his tail on her back, but relaxed. It was a friendly contact, nothing more. ''I am sure he is...''

Swanfoot

''Swanfoot, of Tumbleclan.'' She replied, smirking. Curling her white tail around her paws, Swanfoot cocked her head, and could not help but beam at the twosome. ''You are certainly flatterers.'' Rosepaw
