((Sorry this took so long. Hopefully, replies will start picking up now that I have more time on my hands.))
Luka
-----Within seconds of Quinnely’s reply, that signature Luka grin dominated the werewolf’s expression, turning the corners of his lips up and giving his gaze an especially vibrant light. This was probably the happiest Quinn had ever seen him. The signature grin was large enough to make Luka’s cheeks ache, his excitement so wild that he literally picked Quinnely up off the ground and into a giant bear hug. “I don’t think that will be a problem,” he murmured affectionately. And as if to prove his point, he pressed his lips to his boyfriend’s once more, continuing to hold the smaller male in the air, tucked in tight against his chest. After the final, quick embrace, Quinn was allowed to set two feet back on the ground, a sheepish smile dancing across Lu’s lips coupled with a soft dusting of pink on his cheeks. “Um... we should probably be picking out some sheet music. I’d hate for Olive to come storming in and catch us.” Even though he desperately wanted others to know that Miles was off the market, to let everyone know who Miles belonged to. Werewolves could be pretty possessive over their imprintees, their soul-mates, and Luka was certainly no exception. “Now, let the romance master wipe away those tears and get you some song options, yeah?” Once Lukes had gotten rid of all the salty streaks that ran down Quinn’s face, he begrudgingly separated himself from his pal and grabbed a stack of papers off the high shelf behind them, handing the music to Quinn to shift through and select from. He hated pulling away, but it had to be done. If Olive didn’t come barging in, Mr. Colemann surely would. And Luka did not want to have an after school discussion with him as well. Dealing with an angry alpha was plenty of drama for one night.
-----Once Quinnely had decided on a suitable song for three unusually paired instruments, it was time to come back out. With a soft squeak, the door was pushed open, the werewolf walking out first and flashing a cheeky grin to the other musicians in the room. “Sorry, we couldn’t agree on a song. It took a while, but we finally settled on something.” To everyone but Quinn, it seemed he could lie easily and convincingly. Well… to everyone but Quinn and Amelia.
-----There she was, the queen of the school, perched atop Mr. Colemann’s desk, legs crossed at the ankle, and glaring down his boyfriend as if Miles had personally offended her. Amelia was just an untrusting, cold witch, and she wasn’t about to believe anything Luka had to say about his relationship with Quinnely. She suspected something was going on between the two boys. But, as usual, her malice was quickly masked by a practiced, sweet, innocent smile and a cheery tone. “Lukey Poo!” she squealed, pushing herself up and running over, practically jumping into his arms. “I didn’t see you at lunch. I missed ya, ya big dummy.” In their position, Amelia had her head nestled into Luka’s shoulder, her face directed towards the back of the room and out of the sight of others. This allowed her to look over at Quinn without anyone else seeing the hateful gaze. She stared him down for what seemed like an eternity, reveling in the fact that Quinn liked her boyfriend. She didn’t have any proof of this, but she assumed he did. And she’d be damned if she didn’t play her relationship with Luka to her advantage. “Jealous, Quinny Bear?” she mouthed over to the boy, pulling away ever so slightly so she was in sight of her boyfriend. “I thought you were mad at me?” Lukes finally spoke up. And he sounded clearly uncomfortable. Quinnely had just agreed to be his boyfriend, and they genuinely love each other. Yet, he was stuck in the arms of some cruel, spoiled brat. “I could never be mad at you, Luka. Together forever.” Amelia put particular emphasis on her final word, briefly glancing Quinn’s way to see if she could spot a reaction. And just in case there wasn’t one… Amelia made it crystal clear just who Luka belonged to, out in public, anyways. Without another second’s hesitation, the girl leaned up on tip toes, pressing her lips firmly to her boyfriend’s; however, her eyes didn’t shut. Vibrant blue orbs, matching the white wolf’s perfectly, flickered over to Quinn, glaring him down once more.
-----When Amelia finally pulled away from Luka, she turned to Quinnely. “Quinn, I heard from Ian that you and Luka used to be really good friends. I’m so glad you guys are catching up and hanging out again! You should have just told me that from the get go. I would have kept Ian and his gang away from you.” Not really. Amelia was simply playing nice for Mr. Colemann. “Anyways, we should really catch up sometime. I’d like to get to know you a bit better since you used to be so close to Luka’s. I’ll meet you at your locker after school today, okay? We can hang out while Luka has football practice.”
((Guess who decided to show up a post early. >:) She is gonna threaten Quinnely and play with his feelings like there is no tomorrow.))
