“But I wanna stay here.” She said to him. “I like to be here and coloring with dada.” She said. Luke smiled a little. “We know you do dear. But they want to meet you and see if they can make you happier than we can.” He said to her. Tess looked at him. “Can I wear a princess dress today?” She asked. She did not want to meet new people. “Can we go to see Daddy’s mom?” She asked. She liked spending time with them.

Jaxon looked at her, "Of course." he said softly, he ruffled her hair lightly and went to go and get her a dress she could wear today while Luke handed if she was going to see her grandparents, or potentially her grandparents.

“We can go over there. They like seeing you.” He said. “We can’t stay too long though so you can come back to meet them.” He said. She nodded. “Okay.” She said. She did not want to meet them at all.

Jaxon nodded, he looked at Luke, ""Did you book the day off?" he asked him softly, he hadn't, so he wasn't sure if Luke had.

“I forgot to tell you... I’m so sorry. We had so much going on... when I called them yesterday, they gave us today off too even though we did not ask for it but we can always call and tell them we will be in. It is up to you.” He said to him.

Jaxon looked at him, "We can take it off." he smiled as he looked at her, he kissed his cheek warmly aand relaxed. "I should do some errands while you take her to your parents."

“Okay. I am really sorry I did not tell you dear.” He said. “You can run a few errands. I will see you later.” He said. “Bye dada!” Tess said and went and put her dress on. Luke took her to his parents.

"It's fine." he reassured, "See you guys later." he called before he headed out himself, he needed to get Luke a ring, aas well as he wanted to grab some things for Tess.

Luke smiled a little. “Okay.” He said and walked to the car and got Tess in when she was ready. He took her to his parents happily and let her play with them like she wanted.

Once Jaxon had gotten home, he began to clean up and make sure everything was ready, as well as he made the guest room a little more into Tess's room, to show the adoption agency that they were serious.
