Xander couldn't keep it up any longer and started smiling and laughing, hugging her. He felt bad for making her sad and seeing her frown. "I am just joking, Catherine. He was completely fine with it! He was just happy that I was finally with someone. I got you pretty good. Even if that was the case I would have done something to stop my father."

Catherine scoffed when he said it was joke, deciding to get him back, she pretended to be mad. “Xander, that was a horrible joke!” she said and gave him her best fake glare before wiggling out of his arms and turned around, crossing her arms over her chest. She bit her lip to keep from smiling, still keeping her fake anger act up.

Xander starts to feel really bad and looks sad. "I am sorry Catherine! I was having a little fun but I didnt mean to hurt you do much.. I wont do it again.." He goes behind Catherine and hopes she forgives him.

Catherine turned and smiled at him “Serves you right for tricking me.” she teased before slipping her arms around him. “I got you back pretty good,” she teased before stretching to press a small kiss to his cheek.

Xander looks at her and smiles a bit, putting his arms around her and goes to kiss her. "Yea you did indeed get me pretty good." Xander loved her even more for doing that, knowing she isnt afraid to trick a prince. "I am glad we are able to be together Catherine."

Catherine kissed him back and smiled happily. “Me too, I really like you,” she said as she met his gaze. She rested her head against him, enjoying his closeness. “So he was happy about us?” she asked, looking up at him with a happy gaze.

Xander smiled and held her for a while. "He is really happy about us. He didn't mind at all that we are together." He looked down at her and smiled more, then after that while was over decided to walk with her though the gardens while it was still nice outside.

Catherine kept her hand in his as they walked through the gardens. “I suppose that I need to talk to the king about not working,” she as she looked up at him. She really hoped the king wouldn’t mind, but he seemed happy enough about them.

Xander looked over at her. "I am sure he wouldnt mind at all, if he did though I could just make you my assistant and you should be fine" He had held her hand back as they walked around He find a place in the garden to sit and relax for a while, been walking all day.
